Off Road Challenge

"One Word: Boring"
Okay I really remember when I got this game. Here's a lesson to not buy a game by the cover. I was in the store with my parents and I begged them to get me that game. I begged and I begged and they finally said ''Okay, but you're going to have to help out around the house.'' Of course I didn't but Oh well. This game was hardly worth the trouble. I put the game in and the music hurt my ears. Never again will I rush into a game this bad without renting it first.
Gameplay: Just like any other racing game on the Nintendo 64. Clunky and hard to control and that really hurt this game alot. I could not believe how bad this game was. I liked a few of the courses but that was about it in this game because a the few I liked made up most of this game. You press A button to accelerate and B button to brake. That's all that really matters. Oh and you can press the C buttons to change the trucks into the monster trucks (Note: Gamefaqs, this is not a spoiler it says that in the instruction booklet somewhere.) This game is really bad and clunky and I think that this game should not be played by anybody.
Bad Stuff
1.) It's way too basic.
2.) Not enough tracks.
3.) There's way better racers on the Nintendo 64 than this (even the Cruis'n USA game.)
4.) The secrets can be obtained quite easily.
5.) This game is just to horrible and I could go on and on about the cons in this game.
Good Stuff
1.) You get to drive monster trucks and drive over other racers!
As you can see the cons pretty much outweigh the whole game making for an unpleasant experience.
Story: You race around on boring tracks and in boring monster trucks. It just doesn't get any better than that huh?
Graphics: The graphics are mediocre and considering this game came out in like the year 1999 I've seen way better graphics in 1997 for the Nintendo 64 and Playstation.
Sound: As I mentioned above, the sound is just awful. It will hurt your ears. My advice is to just put a CD in and listen to that because this is very AWFUL music.
Replay Value: Well I played this game about 3 times so I'd say that there is little to no replay value. This game is bad and the secrets are too easy to get. I mean I like Yoshi's Story WAY better than this.
Final Verdict: This game should be avoided and that is that. I hope that anybody who reads this review will take this seriously and not go play this game. That is all.
I HAVE SPOKEN!
