Gauntlet Legends

"Gauntlet Legends is definitly one of the best games N64 has produced!"

Recently, I heard a lot of bad rap about Gauntlet Legends. Well, I'm here to tell you that GL ( gauntlet legends ) is one of the best games out for N64.Here are a few reasons why.

Graphics:The graphics in GL are decent. There not that great. One problem I had with the graphics was the darkness of some levels. I would turn my tv screen as bright as it would go and it woudn't look any better. Overall the graphics system gets a B.

Play Controls:I'd say the play control in GL is just fine. I've heard people say it was rough. I saw no problems in it. The characters turn on a dime! How much better could it get? Although I'm not sure this would count as play controls but at times I'd fine myself getting stuck in boxes and have to restart my game. I'm guess its just a game glitch. Still, play controls recieve an A.

Story:I thought the story in GL was very interesting. Skorne was released from the underworld and tries to take over Summer's tower. So you have to pick a character and go fight him! It was very different from other games. ( at least I thought so )The storyline gets an A.


Sound:The sound was just plain..BAD! It was pretty much the same music for every level! I really got sick and tireds of it. Better off turing your Tv down people. Sound gets an F.

Replay Value:There are secret characters to unlock, secret weapons to find, and 4 different characters to play with! Definitly a game worth replaying!Replay Value gets A.

Overall:A great game only lacking in sound and graphics! Please at least rent the game before you trash it! The game overall recieves an A.
