Review by Bonkers

"The world of worms is basically, all out mayhem!"

I have seen many games chock full of weapons but none even came close to the sheer brilliance I have seen with Worms: Armaggedon. They day I put the cart into the N64 slot, I was up to 3am just playing it and not thinking of anything else.

The game is an all out war. You are in command of up to 6 worms (you can create custom teams too!) and all you have to do is kill all of the other worms in other teams. You get up to 50 (YES 50) weapons including the Holy Hand Grenade, Cluster Bombs, Princess Vela Walking Bombs and the Flamethrower. You will be laughing very hard for 3 hours after you have seen the Holy Hand Greande. It is a grenade that is thrown and after 3 seconds it sings 'HALELUJAH' and detonates like an atom bomb. Then you can laugh at the poor sod who just lost all his worms!

GRAPHICS: 7 out of 10

This game is 2D but it is a very good 2D game. All the explosions are detailed and you can blow up the scenery and it remains like that for the rest of the match. Impressive!

GAMEPLAY: 10 out of 10

The amount of things you can do on this game are quite simply, brilliant. You can run, you can bunji, you can blow up barrels, you can play baseball with another worm. You can do anything you think of.

SOUND: 9 out of 10

The worms are very chatty throughout the match. You can set up different voices for the worms. The explosions sound very good and every sound is crisp and clear. Excellent.

LASTABILITY: 10 out of 10

This game will make instant history. The first player aspect will last you around 5 months while the multiplayer will last you at least 10 years! You will not get bored of this game!

OVERALL: 9 out of 10

You can not buy better when it comes to multiplaying. If you love a lot of weapons, are not scared of worms and can sustain punches from jealous opponents, BUY THIS GAME RIGHT NOW! You will be missing history in the making if you don't.
