Mischief Makers
Review by Dark Templar
"Best 2-D platform on N64."
With the very few amount of 2-d games on the N64 I would have to say this is the best one out there. Also It may even be one of the best 2-d games ever made.
Story-6
Ok but it never really drew me in. When you start out you are on a space ship to the planet clancer, than the prof. gets kidnapped and you as his android Marina light years must save him have to save him. Basically you go through all the worlds saving the prof., meeting new friends and learning gaining knowledge about the clancers.
Music-7
Some of the music is pretty catchy like the cerbus alpha boss music and a few of the levels. But for the most part you will probaly mute the game and pop in a cd.
Graphics-9
The hand drawn graphics are beautiful and the back rounds look great, yet the colors they use are to bright and the game has some pixelation but does that really take away from the game play.
Challenge-8
Beating the game is a very easy task. Except for some of the levels (like 7 clancer kids). Also the bosses can get to be anoying so can trying to get all A's and all the gold diamonds. But it will be worth it when you see the ending.
Gamplay-9
The game is really fun you will get hooked on it and woun't rest untill you find every last gold diamond. Also some levels are just really fun like the Clancer wars.
Replay-9
In my opinion this game definatly has replay, I play the game over and over to find every thing and improve my rankings or just to have fun.
Controll-10
The game is so easy to controll you use the controll pad (thank god) also the buttons are so easy to get down you will be able to play through the game with no problem controlling Marina.
Overall-8
This is the best 2-D game on the N64 and no N64 owner should be with out the game so if you don't all ready have it by it......NOW. James:)
