Xena: Warrior Princess - The Talisman of Fate

"Xena Brings a great game to the Nintendo 64"

If you want a great fighting game and alot of fun Xena:The Talisman of Fate. It is the game to get for Nintendo 64. If your a Xena fan this is a must have.This game is worth going to Gamestop for. This game is very entertaing for hours of fun.

Graphics:
The graphics are good for Nintendo 64. Its very clean and smooth. All the character models look great and the stages are just as well designed in a large 3d enviroment.

Audio:
One of my favorite things in this game. It has great background music for each chacters stage. Characters also have voiceovers like screaming or grunting. One thing I noticed in a match Ares vs Joxer, Joxer was doing Gabrielle's Grunt. Besides that it has everything from Xena's warcry to Calisto's scream.

GamePlay:

Quest:

In the Quest you pick a warrior and fight everyone(including yourself)one by one until you make it up to Dayhawk's Champion Despair. Despair is the hardest character in the game but if you manage to conquer him you will get to see your characters ending. Its not big but you can try to top your friends time.

VS:

This is a cool mode. Fight 1 to 3 players. Pick any stage you want to go to.

Roster:

My FAVORITE mode of all. You can have a four way match and pick up to four people so when one dies a replacement falls from the sky. I like letting the computer have it and watching the results.

Practice:

Here you can train with your warrior. Another fun thing to do is picking all of the same characters and looking at their alteranate attires.

Final Word: Xena The Talisman of Fate is a great game to play. If your a Xena Fan it will bing back memories from the show and if your not it's still a great fighter with large 3d enviroments to fight in. This game is alot of fun for one person or 4. When you beat the game the fun doesn't end.I honestly would give it a ten if it had more characters from the show. Regardless This is well worth $10 to $15. So buy it and Battle On!
