"The only new Baseball game this season surely is the best!"

This is the only new Baseball game this season, but it would be hard to beat if it wasnt. I rented this game and after playing it I knew it was the best, especialy compared to my outdated MLB Featuring Ken Griffey Jr.

Whats it have?-
This games got 33 Teams(30 Teams, 2 All-Star Teams, and Coopertown Legends team), 31 stadiums(30 stadiums, including 3 new, 1 Coopertown Field), 700 Players, Create-a-Player, and the new Practice mode. And the modes are Exibition, Season, Home run Derby, and more.

GamePlay-
One of the best parts of the game. It plays very well with responsive control, like when you can pick a base to throw to before you catch the ball. There is an option to pick Classic or Easy pitching or batting, Easy being where you dont have to aim anything, just throw and swing. You also can control of the ball after you pitch it(moving it), but it is limited though.

Story-
n/a, there is no story, this is a sports game.

Graphics-
One of the other reasons i bought this game was because of the great graphics. The players look good(there heads are kinda blocky though), they dont look like they were pieced togeather(like the first griffey), and they move smothly, and have reconizable faces, and uniforms. The stadiums look very nice too, especialy with the different weather, but the backgrounds and the crowd are flat and dont look very nice. You can even see the ball spining when the camera goes close enough. The pictures of the players in there info box(not all players), the menus, ingame scoreboard, and ingame info boxs look nice too.

Sound-
There is only one song in the game and it is played on the menus, it is apropriate for the game and I like it. The anouncers in the game dont realy have anything intresting to say, they just tell what just happened, and who is coming up to bat. But he repeats things that happen in a row(ex. ''Slider and a Miss'' twice in a row). The players dont say anything, but thats alright. All the other sounds like catching the ball, the ball bouncing, fireworks, and the organ music are done very nicely.

Replay-
Almost unlimited replay with so many teams, stadiums, and modes you will be playing for awhile, especialy if you play season mode.

Buy/Rent-
Deffinitly buy this if your a big Basball fan and like games. But rent it first if you have Ken Griffey Slugfest or All-Star Baseball 2000 just to see if the new features are worth the $50(i traded for it).
