"Good rental but is a VERY terrible buy."

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater... Seems like an AWESOME game (I thought to myself). After calling and going to Blockbuster numerous times, I finally got it. I played it and liked it. It was fun and fast paced.'' hey, this game is good. A lttle easy but still good.'' I said to myself. Then that ''little'' got bigger and bigger till it smothered the gameplay and replayablity. I'm not saying it got easier but it started bugging me more. Then it started getting boring. In fact, it got soo boring, that out of the 5 1/2 days I had it, 2 1/2 of those days my friend had it. The button mashing rule is really stupid and kills video games. Some require strategy. This doesn't. You'll play for 1 day and you will already get 30,000 points or more. What's even worse is the repetition of music. I probably heard the phrase '' die, die psyco people'' a 100 times.

graphics-9/10 Not as sharp as the PSX version in some levels but overall much cleaner and smoother. Nice level design and shadows. Skaters are nicely detailed and move well.

sound-7/10 AGGHHH!! Stop IT!!! Why won't those pysco people die already! Songs get played over and over again and don't sound clear. Grind sounds and everything else sound good.

gameplay-8/10 You need to get s-k-a-t-e , a hidden tape, do something (grind 5 tables etc.) and get a certain number of points.WAPDEDO! Gets really boring. Two player is fun but ALSO gets boring.

replayablity-2/10 The game is really shory. I had already beaten it with Tony Hawk, Andrew Reynolds, Rune Gilfberg, Chad Muska, Alicia Steemer, and Kareem (something). You wont want to play it anymore.

Do NOT buy.Do NOT buy. This game makes a good rental but not a buy. Why do so many people look upon this game as a god is beyond me. Just rent it and be happy.
