Resident Evil 2
Review by AVexer
"As the first RE game for 64, Capcom worked real hard to make this a great game. And they succedded."
After reading some Reviews on Resident Evil 2 for N64, and hearing some things people said, I thought that I should write a Review because most people say they hate this game, but come on, how bad can everything be. For good sound put your TV higher. So her's my Review for Resident Evil 2 for Nintendo 64.
Graphics:8:The graphics are ALMOST the same as the Play Station version, but you have to rember the bits. 48 for Play Station and 64 for Nintendo 64. So of corse 64's graphics should be better. And I think they are. But Capcom COULD have made these a little better if they really really tried harder.
Sound:10:The sound is great. The moans and groans are great. The crashes, explosens, and gun shots sound great(not that I ever herd a gun in real life, it's just that I'm going by the Matrix sounds). The sound in this game is GREAT and that's the bottom line(to me).
Fun Factor:9:This game is real fun to play. When I got it, I played it every night after I finished my studying and homework. That means I really really liked the game, if I took Resident Evil 2 over Rainbow Six: Rogue Spear. I really liked to play this game. It's alot of fun :)
Gameplay:6:I have to admit that this is a very poor feature. Mr.X(Tyrant 103, Agent T) is a little less powerful, thain in the PSX version. But, everything else was the same as the Play Station version.
Overall:7:My overall rating is a seven because with all the gameplay brought it down from an eight to a seven. The fun-factor brought it up and the sound really gave it an advantage, but the graphics could have been worked on.
=)
