Tetrisphere
Review by Tentomon
"Nice Puzzle game, good step-up from the orginal Tetris"
Tentomon here.
This may not be the best game to make a comeback on, but you gotta start somewhere 8-)
Tetrisphere is a pretty cool game, unlike the orginal Tetris (Flame me all u want, I won't care).
Tetrisphere basically is sorta like Tetris, where you have these blocks and you have to either lay
it on top or right next to a matching block to score. Sometimes, you'll hit more than 1 and get
extra points. Then you've got all of these other Bonuses like ''Gravity Combos'' that score Mega
points. Little items like the Bomb or the Ray Gun aid you. Read on for my review.
Gameplay-9/10
This game is SO Addicting! Me, being the irresponsible gamer, played this for 4 Hours, no break
or 'nuthin! The variety of gameplay modes (such as Hide and go Seek) can keep any kind of gamer
satisfied! (save gamers that like to play hack 'n' slash games) The only setback here is that
the controls revolve around the Control Pad instead of the Control Stick, which takes some
getting used to. Don't fret, there's a training mode to help.
Storyline-
9/10 for Hide and Go seek
5/10 for other modes
I like the Hide and Seek mode the best, as you have to play for a long time before you finnaly
get to the level where you flush the robot out of it's hiding place. Major fun. But, sadley,
other than that, the Storyline stinks.
Audio/Video- 6/10
Don't expect much here, folks. The sphere (SP?), and the robots look cool. But other
than that, the sound reeks and the other graphics are only average.
Replayability- 10/10
Play this as much as you like, every single combonation of pieces you get and the sphere are
almost never the same, allowing Maximum fun. In Multiplayer, it's always a 10 (that is, if your
opponent does not like to do the same thing over and over).
Buy/Rent
If you're NOT the kind of people that only likes action, don't buy this game. Stay FAR away
from it. But, if you're a fan of any other Genere, this is for you. Rent and if you liked it,
Buy!
Conclusion- 8/10
The overall score I have given Tetrisphere is 8 out of 10. It is super fun and is defintley
worth wasting a lot of time over, but the Audio/Video kills the final score. If you like
those shooting games, then stay clear of this. But, it's worth at least a weekend. This is
Tentomon, signing off from his fourth review. (ya-hoo!)

P.S. Yes, I do like Digimon...
