Japanese aes console works fine in the u.s. right?

Looking at a dealer named hit japan on ebay selling cib ntsc-j neo geo aes with the og controller

from my understanding there isnt any issue to run this in the u.s. on a standard u.s. television correct?

how does it hook up just a video component?
are there also audio component?

A JP AES will work fine on most US sets. Note, some TV's have sync issues with them and the picture will "jump around". This is caused because the NeoGeo runs at 57khz, and some TV's don't like it.

A stock AES will output in RF, Composite, or RGB, with Mono sound. If you want stereo sound you need to use the headphone jack like the original Genesis. You can mod an AES to use Component Video which is the best option for most people.
