Code Effect Hold the select button and reset the game. Jump to the ending screen. Hold down A + B then press the ''RESET'' button on your NES. Let go of the A and B buttons and select the ''Mission'' or ''Drive Level Select Contributed By: Dallas and Desert Gunstar.
Skip to the Boss Battle
During gameplay, pause the game then press and hold Up, Left, A & B and press Select to change weapons. Now, press Start and you should skip right to the boss of the level.

Secrets
Buy a few extra seconds
When the time limit runs out, you can keep using the Turbo Boost button for as long as you have fuel to do so. (You will actually gain a little speed for a second or two.) As long as you can keep your speed above 0 MPH and reach the boss battle area, your game will continue.
