I am Fortis, and I like to preserve classic games, such as Bram Stoker's 
Dracula, Super Mario Bros., Xexyz, etc.  That is why I decided to start 
writing FAQs and walkthroughs for them.

     In the black of night he stalks his unwitting victims with the 
passion of a prince and the grace of a wild animal.  Able to assume the 
guise of everything from a shadow on the wall to a jagged-toothed Wolf 
Beast, he feeds on the living, sinking his pearly fangs into their fair 
necks for a drink of their life-giving serum.  For he is the prince of 
darkness - Count Dracula - and he's cast his hypnotic spell on your 
lovely mistress, Mina Murray.  Now you, Jonathan Harker, must drive a 
stake through the heart of this vampire and save the fair Mina from 
eternal life as a vampiress.

B) Items
===
Items are found in boxes with question (?) marks.  Stomp or attack the 
boxes to open them.

    coin - worth 1,000 bonus points
 diamond - worth 10,000 bonus points
   clock - adds 20 seconds to your timer
  shield - makes you invincible for a short time
     1up - worth 1 extra life
  credit - when you lose all your lives, a credit lets you continue
           with 3 extra lives
Hearts:
   small - restores 1 bar of health
     big - restores 3 bars of health
very big - restores all bars of health


C) Weapons
===
   slash - not really a weapon, but the attack you start with
     axe - throws an axe; poor range
    rock - throws a rock across the screen
    fire - throws fire; poor range; when it hits the ground, it spreads
           a short distance
  triple - throws 3 rocks across the screen
    rock


D) Enemies
===
These are what I call the enemies for the purpose of my walkthrough.

  skeleton - a walking skeleton
    zombie - jumps out of the ground
     ghost - appears out of nowhere and floats around
       bat - flies around and shoots downward
   vampire - runs back and forth
      hand - appears out of nowhere, but doesn't move
 cannoneer - shoots fireballs out of a cannon
    spider - drops from the ceiling or jumps from the ground
  werewolf - shoots at you; can't kill it when it's flashing
puff thing - floats around, trying to hurt you


E) Other Stuff
===

lantern
- activate by touching it
- if you die, you will continue from the last lantern you activated

switch
- activate by standing at it and jumping
- turns on automatic moving platforms

Dr. Van Helsing (the dude with the white hair and wierd coat)
- appears in every daytime level; rescue him by toucing him
- next time you fight Dracula, you will recieve triple rock ammo



4) Walkthrough
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

A) Scene 1 - A Journey through Transylvania
===
     -Daytime-

You start off.  Right at the beginning, you have 2 choices:

1. SHORTCUT:  Stomp the ground that you started on, fall all the way 
down, and go right.  Jump over the pit and go right to find the exit.
* You'll miss out on many good items and Dr. Van Helsing.

2. NO SHORTCUT:  Go right, avoiding the water.  Get the heart from the 
box, and continue right.  Stomp the weak ground, and you'll fall 
through.  Go left, get the axe from the box, and stomp the weak ground.  
Go right, jump into the wall, and you'll go through it.  Jump up and 
touch Dr. Van Helsing to rescue him.  Get the 3 boxes (coin, heart, 
credit), and go out of that room.  Continue left until you reach a 
lantern.  From the lantern, go up using the platform.  Jump onto the 
ledge on the right before the platform crushes you against the ceiling.  
Watch out for the spikes.  By now, it's probably nightime.  When night 
comes, evil creatures appear in the levels.  You may notice evil faces 
in the walls.  When nightime comes, these faces will shoot at you.  Jump 
on the boxes, but don't stomp them!  Instead, use them to jump up and to 
the left, and you'll find more boxes.  Get the coins from them, and go 
back to get the other boxes, also containing coins.  Go back down to 
where the lifting platform is, and go left.  Go down the pit, and you'll 
be on a cliff in between two other pits.  Drop down the pit on the 
right, and you'll land on a platform.  Kill the skeleton, jump over the 
pit and the zombie in one jump, pass one more zombie, and you're done!

     -Nightime-

When you start, get the box directly in front of you.  Then get the 
other two boxes on the cliff.  From there, go right and use the 4 
falling platforms to get across to the box.  Get the box, and fall down 
the pit on the right.  At the bottom, go through the wall to the left, 
and watch out for the zombie on the other side.  Go through another 
wall, and you'll come to another zombie and a box.  Kill the zombie, get 
the box, and go back through the two walls.  If you want, you can get 
the box on the right (it contains an axe weapon), but kill the bat 
first, and wait for the spikes to go down.  Use the falling platforms to 
go up.  Use the moving platform on top to cross the spiky cliff.  Drop 
through two floors and get the two boxes there, watching out for the pit 
between them.  Go back up, then right, and you'll come to some boxes and 
zombies.  Kill the zombies first, then get all of the boxes.  Now let's 
get a 1up!  Stand where the 3rd box on the bottom was, and drop through 
two floors... ahhhhhhhh!  Wait, there's a lifting platform down there.  
*whew*  Go through the wall to the right of the platform, kill the 
zombie, get the 1up, and go back to where the 6 boxes were.  Go over the 
cliff to your right and kill the guy who looks like he's jogging.  I'll 
call these guys vampires, for the purpose of this walkthrough.  Jump 
over the spiked floor using the platforms, kill the rest of the 
vampires, and get the heats in the boxes.  Activate the lantern, drop 
down the pit to your right, and go left where you will find SHADOW 
DRACULA!  (See "Dracula's Forms" section)  Beat him, and that's the end 
of Scene 1!


B) Scene 2 - Trapped in Castle Dracula
===
     -Daytime-

If you have a lot of triple rock ammo left from the battle with Shadow 
Dracula, don't get the box ahead of you.  It contains rock, and triple 
rock is better.  After the first pit with spikes, you'll notice a switch 
on the wall.  Jump at the switch to change it.  Cross the lava, get the 
next box, which contains a clock, and use the platform to go up (This 
platform was activated by the switch).  Again, don't get crushed between 
the platform and the ceiling.  Jump over the lava pit, and ride the 
moving platform to cross another lava pit.  If you have triple rock ammo 
left, don't get this next box.  It has rock in it too.  Cross the rest 
of the lava pit using the falling platforms.  Activate the lantern, and 
continue to the next floor.  This next part has a lot of spikes, so 
watch out!  Get all the boxes on the way.  You may notice a secret room 
to your right.  You can't get to it yet, so don't try.  When you come to 
a lava pit with a moving platform, crouch.  There are spikes on the 
ceiling.  When you reach the end of the lava pit, jump.  You'll be to 
the left of a hill.  If it is nightime now, there is a trap on this 
hill: a giant hiding hand!  Just shoot it, and continue on your way.  
There are some spikes at the top of the hill, so be careful.  There will 
be yet another lava pit with a moving platform.  There is another hand 
halfway across this lava pit, but only at night.  For the last lava pit, 
just use the sinking platforms.  They sink fast, so be quick.  You see 
the exit!  HOORAY!!!  Not so fast, Mr. Anxious!  You see the section of 
floor that looks like blocks?  Stomp them, and fall through.  Rescue Dr. 
Van Helsing, get the boxes, and ride the platform through the wall.  
It's DEFINETELY nightime by now, so watch out for ghosts, bats, giant 
hiding hands, and skulls in the walls and ceilings that shoot at you.  
Make your way across the lava pits again, exit, and... that's it.

     -Nightime-

Get the boxes, jump over the water pits, and get the triple rock in the 
next box (unless you want to save it for after you kill the guys up 
ahead).  Kill this next guy and watch out for spikes!  Shoot this next 
box and jump over the pit to get this coin, unless you want to wait for 
the spikes below to retract so you can stomp the box, and thus saving 
ammo.  Kill this next guy, board the moving platform, and board the 
second moving platform on the way.  If you want, you can get an axe from 
this next box, so long as you go back onto the moving platform.  The 
platform will take you through the wall.  Get the boxes, and stomp your 
way down through the weak section of the floor.  You will land on 
another moving platform.  Get the 3 boxes (coin, 1up, credit), and 
continue through the wall to your left.  Be careful coming out from the 
wall, because there is a ghost ahead.  Kill it, and jump on top of the 
platform above the spikes.  Jump onto the incline on your left, because 
there is a giant hand at the top.  Kill it, and move on.  On the other 
side of the spike pit is a ghost.  After that there is one more ghost to 
the left of the switch.  Kill it, jump at the switch, and ride the 
platform across the water.  On the other side, activate the lantern and 
continue left, where you'll find the BRIDE!!!  (See the "Bride Guide")

After the bride, continue left, killing the vampire.  Stomp through the 
*3rd* weak floor.  The next box contains triple rock.  You might as well 
get it, unless you want to kill the guys up ahead first.  Kill them all, 
or avoid them all, and jump across the spike pits.  Watch out for the 
faces in the ceiling, because they can hit you while you jump across the 
first pit.  Ride the platform across the water, jumping over the blocks 
that are in your way.  On the second block there is a heart.  After 
crossing the water, watch out for the bats, activate the lantern, and go 
right to find YOUNG DRACULA! (See "Dracula's Forms" section)  Once this 
is over, congratulations!  You beat Scene 2!

C) Scene 3 - Escape from Castle Dracula
===
     -Daytime-

Now that you hit, it's time to run from Castle Dracula.  The top box has 
a coin, the bottom has an axe.  Now you have two choices:

1. SHORTCUT:  Don't drop through the red ledge. Keep going right to the 
platform.  Stomp it to make it go down a little.  Keep walking right 
until you go through the wall.  Keep going right, and you'll find the 
exit.
* You'll miss out on a few coins, a diamond, and Dr. Van Helsing.

2. NO SHORTCUT: Drop through the red ledge to easily get to a heart.  
When the spikes retract, go through and drop.  There is another axe, 
some spike pits, a coin, and another heart.  Drop again and you'll land 
on a red ledge.  Drop through it and land on a moving platform that will 
take you across the lava pit.  Jump over the spikes, stomp the blocks, 
and go left at the bottom.  Activate the lantern, walk to the left wall, 
kill the ghost, and jump through the wall.  There is another ghost in 
here, as well as coins, a diamond, Dr. Van Helsing, and a shield in the 
lone box (better save this for last so you don't wear it out).  With the 
shield, go back through the wall, go all the way to the right, jump 
through the red ledge, activate the switch, and go to where the lift 
platform is.  Ride it to the top.  Don't get crushed, and don't walk 
into the spikes at the top.  Drop down, jump onto the red ledge, jump 
onto the falling platform, and jump up and to the left.  Kill the 
cannoneer, and go left into the drop.  Go on the left side of the drop, 
since there are spikes on the right side.  When it's safe, go left and 
jump through the red ledges to the top.  Kill the two zombies and get 
the boxes.  The top is a diamond, and the bottom is a coin.  After that, 
exit.

     -Nightime-

The box has a rock.  A ghost is at the top of the stairway, at the 
spikes.  Use the platforms to cross the green stuff.  If the spikes are 
up on the other side, jump over them (duh).  Go up the incline, jumping 
over the ghost on the way.  Get the heart, jump over the pit, go to the 
weak spot on the floor, and kill the ghost to your right.  Stomp the 
ground, fall through, and quickly kill the ghost to your left.  When you 
jump on the platform, a ghost will appear, so jump to kill him.  Jump 
onto the red ledge (there seems to be a lot of red ledges in this game), 
and jump on the moving platforms to cross.  Don't jump on them when 
they're in or about to go in the green lava, and don't jump on them if 
they will crush you against the ceiling.  On the other side, there is a 
ghost (kill him) and a lantern (activate it).  At the top of the incline 
is another ghost.  Kill him, and cross the spike pit.  Inch your way 
toward the blocks in the floor until a ghost appears.  Kill him, stomp 
the blocks, and drop through.

Keep going right until you appear in a secret room with a green lava 
pit.  Use the platforms to cross the pit, and jump into the wall on the 
other side.  Don't come out of the right side of the wall until the 
spikes on the outside are retracted.  Quickly make your way through and 
get the 1up.  I would shoot the box, run and get the 1up, and run back 
to avoid the spiders.  Jump onto the right side of the red ledge, wait 
for the spikes to retract, and then quickly make your way back to the 
wall.  Jump out onto the moving platforms, get to the other side of the 
lava pit, jump into the wall, and come out through the left side.  Watch 
out for the faces in the walls; they still shoot, and they will shoot 
for the whole game.  As long as you don't jump, the spider won't reach 
you.  When the spikes go down, cross.  Activate the switch, jump on the 
platform, jump OFF the platform to avoid getting crushed, and jump back 
on when it goes down.  Shoot the spider on the ceiling (if you can), and 
stay on the moving platform.  Drop through the platform when you are 
directly above the lantern.  Continue right to find the BRIDE!  (See the 
"Bride Guide")

After the bride battle, go right until a ghost appears over your head.  
Kill him, get the boxes (coin, triple rock), and stomp the *2nd* block 
floor.  After landing on a platform, jump to your left.  Kill the ghost 
there, and cross the lava using the falling platforms.  There will be a 
ghost at the box, so kill him fast.  The box has triple rock.  Use the 
lifting platforms to make it over the wall.  Jump from the 2nd platform 
far left so you don't land on the ghost.  Jump over the spikes and fall 
through the right side of the pit.  When the spikes to your right 
retract, jump as far right as you can to avoid a ghost.  Stomp the 
platform to reach the other platform, which will take you through the 
wall.  Get off of this platform when you come to a 3rd one.  Ride the 
3rd one all the way to the right, go back to kill the ghosts, activate 
the lantern, and you will fight WEREWOLF DRACULA!  (See "Dracula's 
Forms" section)  Beat him, and there you have it!


D) Scene 4 - The Hillingham Estate Mansion
===
     -Daytime-

Go right to the platform, drop through it, and walk through the wall to 
your left.  Jump up and left 3 times, and you'll find your way into the 
secret room.  In it is a credit and a diamond.  Make your way out of the 
secret room, and continue right.  Watch out for spikes!  Jump up using 
the red ledge, and go left.  Jump up using another red ledge, and go 
right.  If it's nightime by now, it means that YOU ARE A SLOW PLAYER!!!  
Watch out for ghosts and cannoneers.  If it's still daytime, then you 
did very well!  Get the flame from the box and activate the lantern.  
When you drop down to your right, keep pressing left to find another 
secret room, where you'll find a coin and a heart.  Stomp out of that 
room, and go left when you land.  Watch out for a ghost!  When you jump 
over the spike pit, land as far left as possible to avoid another ghost.  
Don't go down the drop.  Jump into the wall, above the spikes.  Before 
coming out through the other side, kill the bat.  Then rescue Dr. Van 
Helsing (who seems to keep getting captured every single level) and get 
the shield.  NOW go down the drop.  you'll land next to a cannoneer.  
From here you have two choices.  You can go left to find an axe, and 
then exit to the right.  Or you can do the smart thing and just go right 
and exit right away before the shield wears off.  That way you can just 
walk through the lava, short and easy.  You'll get a weapon at the start 
of nightime anyway.

     -Nightime-

If you want, you can get the triple rock in the box.  You'll run into a 
few vampires here, so be on the lookout.  After the 3rd vampire, you'll 
see a werewolf.  You can't kill it when it's flashing.  When it isn't 
flashing, it's shooting fireballs at you.  Kill it, but don't open the 
box.  It's a shield, and you want to save it for later.  Kill the 
vampire on the other side of the pit, and jump over the pit.  Kill the 
vampire on the other side of the SPIKES, and then jump over the spikes.  
Climb the falling platforms.  When you reach the top, jump left to find 
a secret passage.  Follow it, and get the boxes at the end (flame, 1up).  
Go back to the shield and get it.  Aren't you glad you didn't use it 
when you were about to enter the secret passage?  It would've went to 
waste.  With the shield, you don't have to be as careful.  Continue, 
killing enemies on the way.  Get the heart from the next box you see.  
Stomp the weak ledge, wait for the spikes to retract, and walk right 
through them.  Jump up the ledges.  At the top, use the falling platform 
to find a secret passage in the wall.  Don't go in too far, because 
there's a ghost in there.  Kill it, and continue.  There is a pit in the 
middle of the passage, so you'll have to jump.  Once you're out, you'll 
face a couple ghosts.  Use the boxes to reach the moving platform.  Ride 
the platform to a lone box with a credit.  Now get the other boxes; 5 
coins and a diamond.  Stomp the block-shaped part of the ground, and 
you'll land on a falling platform.  Jump to the 2 boxes on the ledge, 
and get them (coin, triple rock).  Exit the room by using the falling 
platforms to your left.  When you land on the 2nd platform, wait a 
second to kill the ghost.  Make your way out and back up the ledges.  
Activate the lantern if you didn't already.  Don't get the box, because 
it has a rock.  You already have triple rock.  Stomp through the blocks, 
watch out for the face in the ceiling, and you will now fight the BRIDE!  
(See the "Bride Guide")

Go left, avoid the spikes, and get the 3 boxes, which all contain 
clocks.  Ride the platform above you all the way to the left, killing 
any bats on the way.  Activate the switch and get the heart.  Then jump 
down from there.  Go right to activate the lantern and to get triple 
rock.  Now go left (watch out for the vampire and spikes) and ride the 
platform to the top.  There is a giant hand at the very top, two giant 
hands on the other side of the spike pit, and one at the top of the 
incline, as well as a coin.  Ride the platform to reach the high ledge.  
Drop down onto the box without stomping it, kill the hand in front of 
you, and THEN get the box (triple rock).  Avoid the spikes and spiders.  
Right before the water pit, there are two hearts.  Jump from one 
platform to the other to cross the water.  Stomping them will make them 
move.  Once across, activate the lantern and prepare yourself for YOUNG 
DRACULA!  (See "Dracula's Forms" section)  Defeat him again, and voila!

E) Scene 5 - The Carfax Abbey Crypt
===
     -Daytime-

When you start, you'll see 2 boxes, which contain fire and a heart.  
When you reach the spikes, wait for them to retract, then jump up onto 
the platform.  Go through the wall to your left.  Jump onto the platform 
to get across the lava pit, and you'll reach Dr. Van Helsing, a diamond 
(box on the right), and a shield (box on the left).  Go back to where 
the spikes are, and go right.  With the shield, just walk across the 
lava, and use the platforms to reach the top.  Wait for the spikes to 
retract, and go left to the platforms.  Jump onto the bottom one, and 
then the 2nd one.  Let the 2nd one sink, and walk to the left.  It's a 
secret passage to a 1up.  Go back through the passage, and go up using 
the platforms.  There are a few enemies here, so watch your step.  Get 
the triple rock from the box, hit the switch, and activate the lantern.  
Now go all the way to the left, over the spikes, across the lava with 
the help of some platforms, and jump on the platform that will take you 
up.  There's a werewolf up there, and you can't kill him when he's 
flashing.  Kill him, get the triple rock from the box, and keep going 
right, avoiding bats and crossing pits.  You'll get there; don't worry.

     -Nightime-

Go right, kill the bat, and stop at the spikes.  You must time this 
right so you don't get hit by the spikes, crushed by the platform, or 
shot by the cannoneer on the other side or the faces in the ceiling.  
When the time is right, jump onto and off of the platform, and 
immediately shoot the cannoneer.  Next there are some spiders crawling 
around; just shoot them.  Go down the pit and drop through the platform.  
If you fall straight down, you'll land on a falling platform.  Jump onto 
the ledge to your left.  Jump to the next ledge.  Then use the moving 
platform to get to the small ledge.  There will be 2 platforms next to 
the ledge.  Stomp and ride the one on the left.  Jump to the right, and 
keep going until you reach a platform.  Jump from the platform to the 
ledge on your right, where there is another platform.  Ride this 
platform all the way to the left, but watch out for the faces in the 
ceiling.  Once across, kill the skeleton, go left, kill another 
skeleton, and jump down the center of the pit.  When you land on the 
platform, kill the ghosts to your right.  When the pit brings you over a 
drop, go down.  Jump over the lava to find a lantern, and jump back.  
Keep going right until you reach the BRIDE! (See the "Bride Guide")

Once that's taken care of, go right, killing the skeleton.  Stop right 
next to the spikes, kill the ghost, get the heart and rock from the 
boxes, and stomp the weak ledge.  Make sure that when you fall down, you 
won't hit the ghost.  Keep pressing down so you can stomp the 2nd weak 
ledge as soon as you land on it.  When you land, immediately go left so 
the ghost doesn't get you.  Go to the lava pit, but go slowly; there's a 
ghost there.  Cross the lava, jump over the spikes, and land on the 
other platform.  There's another ghost on the ledge.  The boxes have a 
coin and triple rock.  When the spikes retract, jump across the lava.  
Jump into the wall on the left.  Slowly enter the room, because it has 4 
ghosts.  It's worth it, though: 2 diamonds and a 1up.  Exit the secret 
room, stomp the weak floor, and you'll fall and land on a ledge.  Drop 
through the ledge, holding the down button when you land to get rid of 
another weak ledge.  Quickly jump to the moving platform on your left.  
Ride a few more platforms until you find 4 boxes (2 hearts, 2 coins).  
The last platform should've stopped at a wall.  Use it to jump onto the 
stack of blocks.  Stomp through all of them, watching out for ghosts.  
Keep going left at a slow pace so you can kill the ghosts.  You'll then 
reach a lantern and BAT DRACULA! (see "Dracula's Forms" section)  You've 
made it this far.  Don't die now!


F) Scene 6 - Back in Transylvania
===
     -Daytime-

The first floor is a no-brainer.  Keep going right, get the coins from 
the boxes, and jump over the pits.  Stomp the weak floor when the spikes 
go down.  Then go left and drop.  The box next to you has a heart, and 
the box on the ledge has triple rock.  To your left is a hill.  At the 
top, jump through the ceiling to activate the switch.  Then go through 
the spike tunnel carefully.  At the end, you find Dr. Van Helsing, and 
two weapons.  The left box has fire, and the right has axe.  Go back 
through the spike tunnel, but watch out for the cannoneer at the end, 
near the switch.  There are two more at the hilltop, and one more to the 
left.  The box contains fire.  Go left, go down the drop when the spikes 
go down, and go left to find a lantern and a coin, but watch out for the 
cannoneer!  Keep going left until you find a weak ledge.  If you take 
the ledge and go through the spike tunnel, you will get a heart.  If you 
don't need or want it, just keep going left and drop down.  Watch out 
for the faces in the walls!  When you reach the pit at the bottom, watch 
out for the puff things.  Carefully jump over the pit, and keep going 
right.  Jump over the water, watch out for the spikes, and jump into the 
wall to your right.  It's a death trap, with puff things and faces in 
the wall.  But the boxes contain 1 diamond and 3 hearts!  Stomp the 
platform to get up, and go right until you find the exit.

     -Nightime-

Since I'm making this Walkthrough as detailed as possible, I'll tell you 
about all the secrets in this level (and there are a lot!).  Jump onto 
the ledge right ahead of you, then jump to the ledge with 3 boxes (2 
coins, triple rock).  Keep going right, not going onto higher ledges, 
and you'll eventually come to a box.  It's a shield.  There is a secret 
passage directly to the right of the shield box, but don't take it.  
Instead, there's another box higher and to the right.  Get it.  It's a 
coin.  Keep climbing higher to find yet another box at the top, also a 
coin.  Now use the platforms to the right to reach a ledge with triple 
rock.  Use the platform on the right to get to a small ledge.  Drop 
straight down from that ledge, and you'll land on a platform.  Jump into 
the wall to the right to find a secret room with 2 diamonds.  Exit the 
room, and jump onto the ledge with the lantern and triple rock.  Keep 
going right, and you'll find some skeletons and a box with a heart.  
Climb to the top and jump to the ledge with 2 boxes with coins.  Ride a 
platform from there, killing a ghost on the way.  There's another coin 
on the other side.  Jump left to a ledge with a box.  It has triple 
rock.  Jump to the group of small ledges to your left, and drop straight 
down to the ground.  Jump over the water, kill the ghost there, and 
activate the switch and lantern.  Go back across the water and kill the 
ghost there, if you haven't already.  Jump over the pit for a coin, and 
go down the pit.  There you will find the BRIDE! (See the "Bride Guide")

Now that THAT's over, lets continue left to find a lantern and a box.  
The box contains triple rock.  Keep going left, killing the bats and 
avoiding the spikes.  Jump into the wall to the left to continue.  
There's a diamond on the other side of the wall.  For a shortcut, take 
the platform on the right.  Do it.  You won't miss anything.  When it 
stops, jump left.  Kill any bats that get in your way, and keep going 
left until you find two boxes.  They have coins.  Now go right and cross 
the pit.  There are two ledges; the bottom ledge has a box with a heart.  
The next box has triple rock.  Proceed to the lantern, and get ready to 
fight SHADOW DRACULA! (See "Dracula's Forms" section)  Beat this 
invisible coward one more time, and pat yourself on the back!


G) Scene 7 - Return to Castle Dracula
===
     -Daytime-

Keep going right, get on the platform, but DON'T STOMP IT!  Jump through 
the top of the wall to find 3 diamonds and triple rock.  Stomp through 
the block to find 3 more diamonds and another triple rock.  Common sense 
tells you to get the boxes on top first.  Stomp the platform to ride 
back up.  Go back to the first platform and drop through, pressing 
right.  Go through the secret passage until you start falling.  Fall 
straight down; don't press left or right.  You'll land on a platform.  
Jump to the right to rescue Dr. Van Helsing one last time.  Ride the 
platform up.  Go left.  When you come to a platform above a spiky pit, 
wait for the spikes to your left to retract before jumping onto the 
platform.  Keep going left until you see a block that you can stomp.  
Now you have two choices:

1. Stomp the block, fight a ghost, and get two coins.

2. Keep going left, fight a ghost, stomp the 2nd block, fall down the 
pit, and use a secret passage in the right wall.
---

Either way will bring you to the same place.  As you go right, watch out 
for the spikes and the skulls in the walls.  You'll find a werewolf at 
the end, and you'll have two more choices:

1. Cross the lava to your left, fight a skeleton, get two coins, and 
stop at the switch.

2. Stand on the block to your right, look down, and when the spikes 
retract, stomp down.  Go left, killing the giant hand on the incline, 
jump over the pit, and stop at the switch.
---

Press the switch, and jump over the pit when the spikes retract.  If you 
took choice 1, jump a couple seconds early so you can kill the giant 
hand on the incline.  Now RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!!!  If that platform leaves 
without you, you could easily die.  If you are riding the platform, 
watch out for a ghost.  Just survive and exit!

     -Nightime-

Go right, watch out for the cannoneers, and stomp all the way down.  
Kill the ghosts, and jump OVER the pit into the left wall.  This is a 
MUST!  Jump onto the ledges to avoid the cannoneer, go all the way left, 
watch out for the zombie, and hit the switch.  The boxes have fire and 3 
diamonds.  NOW go down the pit.  If you want, you can go left to find 
triple rock and a heart.  Go right, watch out for ghosts, spikes, or 
whatever.  The platform over another water pit will sink into the water, 
so jump across quickly.  You will find a lifting platform.  At the top, 
kill the cannoneers and activate the lantern.  Now head right to find, 
for the last time, the BRIDE! (See the "Bride Guide")

Enter the room that I call **the Crossroads**, for the purpose of this 
walkthrough.  Kill the zombies and get the coins.  If you are running 
out of time, here is a list of places to get clocks.  GET THEM IN THE 
ORDER THEY ARE LISTED!  If you just want to kill Dracula now, then you 
can skip the list.

1. From the Crossroads, go up and left.  Keep going left.  When the 
spikes retract, jump into the left wall to find fire and 3 clocks.

2. From the 1st room with clocks, stand on the top left platform and 
walk left when the spikes retract.  You will find 8 boxes, and THEY ALL 
HAVE CLOCKS!!!  You might have to wait for the spikes to retract a few 
times, but it's worth it.

3. From the Crossroads, stomp the weak ground, and fall straight down.  
Go all the way to the left.  Here, you can get fire and a coin.  wait 
for the spikes to retract, and walk through the wall at the bottom.  6 
more clocks.

In the Crossroads, stomp the weak ground and fall onto the ledge below.  
If you finished #3 in the list, go right from the secret room and jump 
onto the top ledge.  Now jump from the ledge into the wall in the right.  
Follow this passage and you will find DRACULA'S EVIL ROBE FORM!!!!!!!!!! 
(See "Dracula's Forms" Section)  If you manage to beat him, 
CONGRATULATIONS!  YOU'VE BEATEN BRAM STOKER'S DRACULA!!!


Dracula is defeated!  Let's hear the victory music!  Remember the scroll 
that said "VAMPYRE?"  Well, now it says "VAMPYRE VANQUISHED!"

5) Dracula's Forms

A) Shadow Dracula
===
Stand on the bright side of the room.  I suggest stay on the bottom.  If 
Dracula goes on the top, wait for him to get out of the way.  On his way 
back, jump up and shoot him.  Then go back to the bottom.  If he goes on 
the bottom, jump up to avoid him.  On his way back, drop through the 
ledge and shoot him.  Keep doing this until he's defeated.

B) Young Dracula
===
Stay on one side of him.  Stay as far away as possible.  Shoot him as 
many times as you can, while crouching to avoid his attack.  When he 
starts his hypnotic thing, run away from him so you won't get pulled 
toward him.  Keep this up, and he'll be defeated in no time.

C) Werewolf Dracula
===
The first time he charges you, don't try to shoot him.  Just jump over 
him.  The next time he charges you, he should be coming from the left.  
You should be as far right as possible so you'll have plenty of time to 
shoot him.  Shoot him, jump over him, and go to the left so you'll have 
plenty of time to shoot him again.  Keep shooting and jumping and you'll 
tame this wild beast.

D) Bat Dracula
===
Stand on either the far right or the far left.  Jump up and shoot 
whenever he comes down, and you'll shoot him and the bats, since you 
should have triple rock.  Kill the bats immediately.  When they're all 
dead, Dracula will drop down again.  Keep shooting him and his bats 
until you win.

E) Dracula's Evil Robe Form
===
When he appears in the middle, shoot him a couple times, and run under 
him to avoid his attack.  When he appears on either side, shoot him a 
couple times, and run to the opposite side to avoid his attack.  Keep 
doing this until you kill him.


6) Bride Guide
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Whenever you meet the Bride, all you have to do is avoid her for a 
certain amount of time.  The Bride has 4 movements that she repeats in 
the same order every time.  She may, however, start out with any of the 
4 movements.

If there are tricky movements, I'll tell you what they are, and I'll 
leave the common sense to you (if she moves from left to right, jump 
over her from right to left and vise versa).

Scene 2 - Just stand in the middle and jump when she comes.

Scene 3 - There are two of them this time.  They move from right to left 
twice and from left to right once.  When they come from both sides, just 
stand in the middle and jump.

Scene 4 - Just like Scene 2, but she moves faster.

Scene 5 - She sweeps across the ceiling to the right, and then sweeps 
across the floor to the left.  Then she does the same thing, only 
reversed.  The next movement is easy to avoid; just stay as far left as 
possible.  For the other movement, she sweeps from right to left, making 
a circle in the middle.

Scene 6 - Stand in the middle and jump over her when she does her 
traingle-shaped movements.  For the other movements, just stand in the 
middle and don't move.

Scene 7 - Just like Scene 3, but they move faster.
