Good question to start this boards QNA with.
I've heard around 710-720 licensed games and 780 including unlicensed games. Nintendo has an official count on their website somewhere, although it excludes the three games Tengen released when it was briefly a licensee (Pac-Man, Gauntlet, and RBI Baseball all got licensed Tengen releases.)
