Asked on: 8/5 8:14PMWhat was/were the improvement(s) the NES 2 had over the Front-loader?
All I know is that the pins won't bend. Is there any other improvement?
Changes:
(1) Removal of the composite video output plug
(2) Move to a top-loading system instead of the front-loading system. The front-loader was a haven for dirt. The positions of the contacts made it very hard to clean. Also repeated wear and tear with the spring-load system on the front-loaders eventually made it difficult for games to be read.
(3) Ergonomic change to the controllers to look more like a SNES controller.
