"One of the Best Games on the NES"
This game is often critized for many reasons. They claim that the graphics aren't top quality, the diffucalty is too hard, the sound is repetative, and other similar items are used to discredit this awesome game. To those who would put this game down in any way, "You haven't played this game. If you have played this game, you would find it to be one of the best games to appear on the NES."
The first thing that I will review will be the graphics. The graphics in this game are very nice, clean, and colourful. There will not be a time when you have to stop and stare at the screen in order to fiqure out what you are looking at. The character and enemy details are great. You will be pleased by the graphics of this game. I give the graphics a ten out of a ten.
The music and sound effects are very basic, but they do not draw away from the game in the least. You have your basic bleeps and other primative NES sounds, but you also have some pretty good music. While not the best, you will find yourself humming along at one point or another. I give the sound quality a six out of ten.
Now to the heart and soul of this review and that is the gameplay. The gameplay of this game is among the best you will ever find on a NES. M.C. Kids is a platformer, and a very good one at that. Your character can run, jump, pick up blocks and throw them, and other various things. You have to move your character through various levels, collecting cards to advance. The gameplay is very to fiqure out, and will keep you coming back for more. The game isn't that hard, but some of the latter levels will tempt you to throw your controller at the walls. You will lose a few life's, but there are more than enough to be had in this game. I give the gameplay a ten out of a ten.
I am not going to lie to you. This is one game that you must buy as soon as you can find it. In my opinion, no NES collection is complete without this game. This is a must buy, and you can easily find it for twenty dollars complete in the box on E-bay. Buy this game right now.
