Review by Gruel
"This game is twice as better as the original!"
Graphics: 8: The tracks are designed well. The cars look pretty good, and so do all the in-game menus. The graphics are pretty good overall.
Sound: 6: Well, this is the NES, and the sound is just like most of the other NES games, which is average. The sound effects aren't bad though as you hit an oil slick or you blow up a car with your weapon.
Gameplay: 8: Remember Super Off Road? Where you win money for races to upgrade parts? It's just like that in here with parts and weapons, but if you also pick up letters scattered across the tracks and spell out "Nintendo" you earn a brand new, upgraded, RC! You should do this a lot in one player or you'll find the computer constantly finishing ahead of you. The only downside to gameplay is that in multiplayer mode if a car falls behind and blows up, the game just moves him ahead with all the other RC's, so basically anybody can win the race.
Replay Value: 8: The original RC Pro AM didn't have a 2-player mode, well, to make up for that RC Pro AM 2 featured a 4-Player Mode! The game was a lot of fun to play with friends, that is if you didn't get frustrated of the game pulling up your opponents car, which is falling behind.
Overall: 8: The game is pretty good overall. The game's a blast in 4-player mode. If you played any of the other RC Pro AM games you probably want to pick this one up too.
