"NES made decent games? 4 REEL?!"

As amazing as that sounds, they actually did. Talk about bringing back the good old days when I played this beast on my emulator again. A game that could kick the ass of...well about 99% of the trash on the market again. They need to make another one of these instead of Pokemon aquamarine hazel 3453: Bash your sister with a shovel. This game really deserves credit, because I love to give games bad reviews, and this one was spared from my wrath.

Story- 9/10
Earthbounds story is a little crazy, but so is the idea of catching pocket monsters and all that other trash out there, but this one is actually original and entertaining. It starts out as a boy who learns he must go and find the four chosen people to help him save the world.... and he also has psychic powers. It’s amazing; this game doesn't make me want to stab myself with an ice pick. Something’s not right here; some game producers used their brains.

Gameplay-6/10
Alright, this game has decent gameplay for the NES. I hope you weren't expecting something earth shattering. But the game offers many different fight commands and each of them differ with character, truly amazing for the technology for that time. Maybe game producers actually had the desire to make good games. It ranges from your attacks to your psychic powers to anything else you can think of really. I don't want to spoil this good experience for anyone.

Audio/Video - 9/10
On the NES you couldn't expect it to be the best in the world. But for that time, the little tunes and the cities were really good. I know that my little 9-year-old self had fun playing it, and I still do today. These are something not to get fixed up on, but they are not so bad as to you will fall on the ground and have seizures like those freaky Japanese shows. Its not going to make you cream in your pants, but it won't make you limp either.

Replayability-7/10
Even though its a great game...it gets drawn out like Earthbound and it makes you not want to play it again...for a while. After that you will be longing to play the game again. I do and it’s been many years since I first played that game. Bravo.

Buy or Rent?
Not really an option now days. If you can find it. Buy, its worth your money. Otherwise ''borrow'' it from a site for.... 24 hours. Its a decent game, you will want to play it.

This game should be praised and given prizes or something. It doesn't make me want to get violent. Anyone who is looking for a good game should pick this up, and avoid those games like Pokemon Aquamarine Hazel or whatever’s out now. Save your money for decent games, and pick something like this up, if you can get it.
