"REVIEW #150! Finally, an excuse to drink!"
Game Play-
7/10
This game was the inspiration for many top-down shooters today. It is a continuous shooter that doesn’t end until you die or get arrested by the police while playing for robbing a liquor store. You have a plane called a Solvaltu (Did I spell that wrong), and you must continuously shoot down enemy rings, ships, and bomb enemy forts on the ground. You bomb enemy forts by using a target at the bottom of the screen and pressing the bomb button when you are over that target. You have unlimited weapons, which is a plus.
Control-
9/10
There are no major problems here whatsoever. It’s basically perfect, except sometimes your bombs will be a bit off. But other than that minor problem, the control in this game is fine.
Audio-
4/10
The opening tune in this game is pretty good, but the in-game tune playing is just plain awful. It is the sound that makes people go insane, makes cats crazy for catnip, and makes Duran Duran hungry like the wolf. It’s the cuckoo sound from cartoons, but played in a continuous loop. Dear God, it’s pretty freakin’ awful!
The sound effects are much better for when this game originally came out. Original meaning it didn’t get on my nerves. But maybe that’s because it’s overshadowed by the crappy music. All the flying enemies in this game die using the same exact sound. Way to go, Namco. By the way, I was being sarcastic, if it wasn’t obvious enough to you.
Graphics-
5/10
Do you remember those pictures you made in Kindergarten using differently colored strips of construction paper and gluing them onto a white piece of paper? Well, neither do I, but that’s what the graphics look like in this game. The game needed more color in it, and more detail in the ground and the enemies. It’s not visually impressive, and not exactly pleasing to the eye, if you get my drift.
Enjoyability-
7/10
It’s a surprisingly fun shooter, and you will have fun with this game, trust me. It’s a blast from the past, and a blast to play. It’s extremely cheap and common too, so finding it and paying for it shouldn’t be a huge problem for you. If it is, it will not be my freaking fault.

Doodleheimer’s Recommendationitivity
I recommend this to any fans of shooters, such as Galaga and 1942. Trust me, it’ll be worth it.
