"Why wasn't Strip Poker included?"

Game Play-
8/10

It’s a bunch of games in one, it really is. In Vegas Dream, you can play Blackjack, Keno, Roulette, or Slots. The games pretty much represent their casino counterparts correctly, not that I ever snuck into a casino without going to the arcade for some Marvel Vs. Capcom, mind you. And you can have multiplayer turns too, which is a blessing for today’s underage gambler. My favorite thing about this game is how simple it is to play. Complicated games like Blackjack are simplified to make it easy to play.

You have $700 to spend in Las Vegas, and you lose the game when your money runs out. There are dangers in the game too, such as bad luck, people asking you for money and deciding whether to give it to them, as they may either be someone important or a criminal, and then becoming addicted to the slots which will drain your money so you’ll drown your problems in alcohol and become addicted to cough syrup and lose everything you got and then get one quarter and play it in the slots and become filthy rich. By the way, don’t ask me about that story.

The only problem with this is that my favorite Vegas game of all time, Poker, was not included. I understand why Strip Poker wasn’t in this game, but not why regular Poker wasn’t in this.

Control-
10/10

There are no complaints in this particular department of my review. Control doesn’t really play a huge role in this game, considering only A and B play a major role in this game. It's perfect.

Audio-
7/10

There is one track for each game to play. They’re good, but the main problem is that they loop and repeat themselves. I found the sound effects in this game not to be annoying, as hard as that may be to believe. Most NES games had not-so-good sound effects, and for some reason I would’ve thought this game would have had bad sound effects.

Graphics-
9/10

The game makes good and unique use of color and designs. The items used in real-life gambling are emulated nicely by them in this game. Slots look like slots, cards look like cards, etc. They did a good job with the graphics in this game.

Enjoyability-
8/10

This is one of my favorite gambling games of all time, mainly because of its simplicity and addictiveness, and I suggest that you get it if you’re too young to gamble. Now all you’ll need is a Dry Martini and you’ll be set.

I suggest you buy this game if you see it, and that’s all you need to know. Now, I gotta go gamble my ass off.
