Tag Team Wrestling

"HELP!"

I used to like pro wrestling. I have most of the wrestling games on NES. So one day in Funcoland, I saw Tag Team Wrestling. I took it and went home. I turned it on. That was my first mistake. Tag Team Wrestling is terrible. Absolutely godawful. In my opinion, it's the worst game on NES. Why, it even insults the NES!

Graphics: What graphics? They absolutely suck! Your little wrestlers are tiny little things and look like crap. CRAP! The graphics are better in Wrestlemania for NES. Hell, lets go nuts. Atari has better graphics!

Sound: What sound? You get offbeat weird music that really doesn't belong in the game. Your wrestlers(dare I even call them wrestlers)will let out little grunts here and there which barely resemble a grunt. The only sound effect that I found funny was the ref counting to 3. The guy must have hit the bottle before he came to the match, because the guy is hiccuping while counting. Or are those even hiccups?

Gameplay: Again, what gameplay? Your lucky if you get one move off the whole match! Apparently, you are supposed to grapple your opponent with the A button, then select your move with B, and hit A to execute. That may not be accurate because I haven't played this game since I bought it. Actually, forgot that whole thing, because you probably won't get a move off. The computer gets you everytime, so get used to it. You can also venture outside the ring, and pick up the ring bell to bash your opponent. That's the only way I've found to score damage on the computer. Oh, and the translation sucks too. How come all NES wrestling games have bad translations? Pro Wrestling had ''A winner is you.'' This game has ''Winner is Ricky Fighters.'' I'm sensing somewhat of a pattern here.

Replay Value: NONE! You can play it for shiznits and giggles with your friends. It also makes a lovely coaster for your beverage.

Whatever you do, don't buy this game. I bought mine for 99 cents, and it's 99 cents I wish I had back. So someday, I'll be stranded somewhere, wishing I had my 99 cents back to make a phone call. Please, do yourself a favor and don't buy this crap.
