"It Took An Old School Game To Show Them How To Bring A Movie Over To A Game Perfectly"

Ahhh, Willow. If you haven't heard of this movie, you should be brought out in the middle of a street and shot. By far one of the greatest movies EVER. Now the game is a different story than the movie, it kinda blows..... who am I kidding? It's head and shoulders about 95% of Nintendo's games!!!

STORY: 10/10

I'm not telling you what it is but it rocks and carried over from the movie almost flawlessly. WATCH THE MOVIE!!!

CONTROL: 10/10

The good old days of only 2 buttons. The direction pad moves Willow around, B swings his sword, a direction plus B causes him to stab his sword and A casts magic. Select takes you to a menu in which you can change what magic he'll use, and equip different swords and shields. Very simple and yet so effective.

SOUND: 10/10

Again, 10 as a score. It has average sound such as your sword swinging and Willow getting hit but the reason for the 10 is simply because of that COOL music it plays when enemies appear. Now THAT is a catchy tune that also sets the mood for destroying evil. You'll be humming it in your head for a couple days after playing this, its THAT catchy, kinda like that 80's song, ''And I ruuuuunnnn..... I run so far away''

GRAPHICS: 10/10

The view of the game is overhead (like Zelda) but more detailed. You can actually see Willows small little gut and face. Also, when you talk to people, it changes to a side view (so you can read the text) and if its a human, naturally, Willow will be smaller than your speaker. They are very good for a NES game.

GAMEPLAY: 12/10!!!

Now comes the best part, the gameplay. You run around (Like I said, in a Zelda view) and hack n slash enemies. Willow gains levels and as he does he gains more HP and MP. You must do small quest here and there to convince people to help on your quest. You explore dungeons and slay bosses at the end of each. You gain stronger sword and shields as you progress and its just all around.... awesome is the only word I can think for it.

OVERALL: 10/10

Overall, you had BETTER already had this game and only read this to hear my opinions. Now if you dont have, I suggest you pay anywhere from $10-$60 for it. Thats right, 60 big ones. Its worth it, trust me.
