Super Dodge Ball

"What's better than smashing the crap out of eachother with a litlle ball?"

Being one of the best games I have played for NES I was extremely happen with this game. I think that this game and a couple others are reason enough to buy this system. If you don't believe me find out for yourself. This game is full of action and surprise. It has challenging levels which is good because it keeps the game from getting too boring. You travel a lot to. You go to different countries.

GAMEPLAY:9/10

This is one of the best games for NES. The gameplay is good and the details are excellent too. The object of this game is to smash the crap out of the other team before they can. The controls aren't too hard to figure out and hitting the other guys with a ball has quite a nice feeling to it. Overall the gameplay is excellent.

STORY:7/10

Since this is a dodge ball game the story can't be that intriguing can it? Well the only thing that you can do in dodge ball is play dodge ball, so that's the story. You have to go around and face other teams from other countries in order to be the ultimate dodge ball champion team. The levels are hard and fun. The health meters are easy to read. The story is cool, since it is basically the only thing you can do in a dodge ball game.

GRAPHICS:10/10

These are the best graphics for the NES, in my opinion. If you go to different countries, like China or Japan, I forget which, the players have squinted eyes, like Chinese people do. No offense to anyone of course. I just like to point out the excellence of the graphics and detail that went in this game. Also, none of the players look the same on one team. Which is nice. Plus, they all have separate names and health meters. This game is non-stop fun.

SOUND:8/10

An average sound but it is relatively unimportant in gameplay. You can still have tons of fun in this game even if the sound was complete crap, which it's not. This just goes to show that the makers of this game put a lot of thought and time into this game. Sorry about not having much to say about this game sound-wise.

REPLAYABILTIY:9/10

Hopefully this game will never get boring for someone and it will never get old. The replay value on this game is high because it gets more fun as time goes by.

BUY OR RENT: BUY

Nearly all NES games you have to buy due to the fact that you can't rent them anywhere. This game is a tad high for the old system. $20-$30. Sometimes you might get lucky and get a game cheaper, $15 or so.

OVERALL:9/10

Adding up all these scores I have decided that this game deserves a 9. It is great all around, like most action games. Have fun:)
