"Game You Should Keep For The Ages"

1943 has lots of good stuff like big planes, cool weapons, funky clouds, and a boat load of... boats.

Gameplay: 8/10
This game is great in the field of the gameplay. The story is that you are an airplane in the middle of World War II. You are there to take down the kamikazes at all costs. It is really fun since there is a lot of levels but there is no real big grand scheme.

Music & Sound: 8/10
The songs are good since they vary and you don’t hear the same song until like every 5th level. It is good since you get a variety of music. I personally enjoy level 2's music. Anywho, the sounds are pretty generic and they don’t get annoying which is a very good thing.

Graphics: 8/10
The graphics are good. You see the planes blow up and see some debris, the big planes fade off and blow up, but you don’t see the explosion of the big planes. The big ship bosses have good graphics since when you blow up a turret, you see the debris and the burn marks left there, and when you see the ships and big planes explode, that’s pretty cool.

Challenge: 10/10
This game is good when it comes to challenge. I have yet to beat the game, I have gotten to about level 9. There is over 25 levels. See where I am getting at? And the main thing is that you don’t get upset and want to break the game or get pissed off due to repetitiveness. The challenge adds flavor to the game. Also, when you start the game and you have to distribute your points, that is fun as well.

Replay Value: 10/10
I cannot believe I haven’t gotten sick and tired of this game already. I have owned this for about 7 years and still continue to play it to this day! I actually have played it a few minutes ago before typing this up! What I am trying to say is that I will not get sick of this game, and I don’t think you will either.

Some of the clouds look weird

This game is very good overall. I would definitely fork out the 5 bucks for this game. If you find this at a garage sale, even better. This is a game you want to pick up. You will be playing it for years to come!
