Bad Street Brawler

"Duke...King of games or a sissy boy?"

Many may be surprised by the high score I gave this game. This game was even listed in EGM as one of the worst games of all time. Yet I have reasons to give this a 3 and not a 1. Read further and I shall explain.

Graphics (1/10) Now here is the ugly. All the character models are poorly drawn and deserve less than a 1. Duke himself, who is supposed to be cool, falls short of false idolatry. His punches are put to shame by ANYONE else. Ironically, Duke looks like Duke Nukem(but not as cool). This makes me wonder about the true origins of the Duke. Supposed ''cutscenes'' which you see every 3 stages are ''I could have drawn a better picture'' quality. All in all, the graphics are nothing. They are a waste of time.

Gameplay (3/10) Wow! 3 out of 10! You must buy this!!-Not really. The gameplay is just plain awful. You travel the ''BadStreets'' beating things up. I can't give a more detailed description. The only reason this portion of the game got a 3 is because of the comedic value. Trust me, you will have fun showing off how bad this game is to your friends. You can show them Duke's ''Cowering'' move. It's pure AWESOMENESS. (Sorry, ADAD reference slip)

Story (0/10) What story? Some guy going around beating people up...HA! If there were a story, I'd give at least a 1. I don't count what the instruction calls a ''story'' a story at all.

Replay Value (1/10) The only reason you would want to replay this is to show it off to more of your friends...besides that, there is no other real point. That is how much replay there is to this game. There isn't any other point.

Buy or Rent I doubt you can find this anymore. You would probably have to play it on a rom(No, I'm not promoting their use)

Bottom Line Do whatever you want, its your money. If you feel like wasting it, go ahead. As to my title, ''Duke...King of games or a sissy boy?'' that's your call too. I mean, if you think losers who cower before their enemies are cool, then by all means, worship him. You will love this game if you are one of those types of people(which I know exist).
