"What? Is this playable?"
Introduction
This is a platform/RPG game based on a japanese anime called Saint Seiya, also known as ''Chevaliers du Zodiaque'' in France and ''Cavaleiros do Zodiaco'' in Portugal. As the names says this anime is connected to the zodiac symbols, so the characters have armors whose powers are connected to those symbols.
Gameplay
This games' gameplay isn't good at all, there are platform levels between every boss battle but they are very boring... There are enemies appearing all the time plus you need to kill some to get extra ''energy'' points, so you can keep on killing them all in order to get lots of points and having easier boss battles, but as said before this turns to be very boring. As for the boss battles, they are in a RPG style, I mean, you get to pick which command to use (attack, ''magic'', talk...) and you strike your opponent (most of the times a boss) with it. You can also choose between 4 characters (the 4 main characters from the series, no Ikki, sorry), those are Seya, Hyoga and other 2 whose names I don't recall.
Story
For those who know about Saint Seiya's anime/manga story, this game takes place when Atena gets hurt and they need to defeat the golden knights. So, you'll see the flames from that ''clock'' thing disappearing as you go across the game and defeat the bosses (or, more likely, just loose against them).
Graphics/Sound
The graphics from this game are somehow poor, they look like those of the first NES games, they just get better on the boss battles, with an interesting perspective from the back of your character. The sound is just terrible, you'll surely turn it off after some time playing it. The music from the levels just goes the same all the time, turning it to be boring after some time hearing it.
Play Time/Replayability
I don't believe you will ever want to replay this game once you finish it (if you ever even try to do so), so boring that it is. Of course it will take you a long time to complete it up to the end, but you'll be really bored once you try to do so.
Final Recommendation
Are you planning to buy this game? Maybe you shouldn't, for all those reasons I refer in this faq... If you like the anime/manga in which this game was based, try another game, this one is just too boring.
