"Thats it, I'm moving to another neighborhood..."
Come one come all to play one of the most unique games of all time. I always wanted to be a paperboy when I was a kid, but this kid just made me fear it for my life. You’d think it would be an easy game if you listen to the name of the game. What’s the point of he game you ask? The directions are not too hard to explain, all you basically have to do is deliver the paper.
All I have to do in the game is deliver papers?! Piece of cake, that’s the easiest thing I’ve ever heard of! Well, if you’re delivering papers in a hostile neighborhood like this kid, I think you better think again. In this game, anything goes. You’d better watch out for the dogs, crazy grandmothers with knives, sewer monsters, cars, tornadoes, and a lot more obstacles throughout the game. You’d think this would be an easy job, but you were so wrong! You get bonus points for making the paper inside of the mailbox, and you get chased by an old lady whenever you happen to hit a window, so which one would you choose? Yeah, I would too. Pretty weird how after every neighborhood, you end up in some obstacle course. I guess it adds a little bit to the game, like reaching home stretch. Don’t worry, if you lose during the obstacle course, you still go on with the game. It’s just a little add on to it.
It’s funny how the paperboy would always happen to make the papers at the end of each level. What he do? All I saw was him running for his dear life. But seriously, who would get so worked up for a paper? Come on! Well, let’s put the exception of my grandfather, he’ll probably end up chasing the paperboy in his underwear with a shotgun yelling curse words in Spanish. The difficulty in this game is pretty frustrating to a certain point. Guess you just have to get used to it. The same process comes over and over again in stages, nothing is at random. So let’s just look out for that tornado that came out of nowhere the next time around I pass by that green house for the twentieth time.
Buy or Rent? I would think you should already have this game already. It’s like a should have, or a should of already have had. I’d say if you haven’t already, play it just to say you have. You’ll find it kind of amusing too. Not because of the fact that it brings pleasure to you, it’s just fun to see yourself running from all these bogus obstacles. I’ll tell you one thing, since I played this game; I’ve never gotten on a bicycle again.
