"The Pinnicle of the Mega Man Series!"

Introduction:
Mega Man 3 is the best game ever in the mega man series. This game has catchy music, state of the art gameplay (for a 1990 game) and some of the best bosses in any game ever made. Mega Man 3 is one of those hard to get games at any game store available, so if you see this game at Gamestop or EB Games this you must buy it immediatly or else you will regret it, I promise. But, if you own a Ps2 or a Gamecube than you can still get this classic for an affordable price. Now that you get what I'm saying, On to the review!!

Graphics: 10/10
14 years ago this was considered the new era of video games mainly because no nintendo games look this good back then. The backgrounds are in full detail in most areas and look great, but in some areas there is just a black sky with a few white dots representing stars. While these don't look bad it defiently works well with levels. Ever since mega man 1 the mega man sprites have always remained the sam, which isn't a bad thing at all due to the fact that its the same hero always saving the world. While the spites are perfect all the other ememy sprites are every creative and look professional. In some levels the backgrounds have a wavy color effect which makes some levels memorable. The movement in the game are quite smooth and way better than than flipping a picture book so saying that it must be good! This is the absolute best the graphics can ever get on the Nintendo Entertainment System!

Gameplay: 10/10
The mega man games have always had brillant run and shoot gameplay with bit of new moves and new extra help with add strategy to the game. Also, if you beat a robot master you get his special weapon that you can use, and you can also use it to find weaknesses in bosses. During the most part of the game you sue your main gun, buster cannon, to defeat enemies and jump over hazards and enemies. But, there are some new moves to the 3rd installment of the Mega Man series, The ability to slide. This adds the gameplay factor way up now. In the past mega man games there was no way to duck but now there is, kinda. When you slide you lose height and you can dodge some enemy attacks, adn also fit through small areas in which you must use your slide to access that area. Also, you have a small sidekick robot dog, named Rush, who can help you out of tight situations. Rush can help you jump a lot higher and reach hard to reach areas, turn into a submarine and go through flooded areas, and transform in a get in which can ride to go anywhere you desire. These new abilites increase the gameplay level higher and do make the game more fun to play.

Sound: 9/10
Don't get me wrong about the sound score. Yes, the music is extremely catchy and good, but some of the most used sound effects do ge tiresome after a while. Most of the game you are shooting and have to here a "boop" sound and you also get hit a lot so you have to hear a sound like a grocery cart in a crash. This music in this game is very creative and really match the level correctly, but there is only about 2 songs that are the opposite of good and catchy, really. But every thing else it great! Also you must beat this game in order to hear the best song in any game ever. The credits of mega man 3 is the absolute best musical score ever given in a video game to this date! The music is even enough to warrant a purchase on this game!

Story: 5/10
In most mega man games the story isn't really important and this game proves it with such a shallow and mediore story. Without any spoilers Dr. Wily has stole the top secret plans to Gamma from Dr. Light so its up to Mega Man to stop Dr. Wily before he finishes the robot. Thats it. But, a story in a 1990 game dosn't really matter, right? I think so.

Replayability: 9/10
This game has tons of great levels and quite a few things to explore. In the game there are 19 great levels, well 18 if you don't count the mini boss. This game is very long and fun for such an old game that it will make you want to play long after you've beaten it, and should waste about 3 hours in your day, so it is a time killer. Every time you beat a robot master you get their special weapon which increase the replayability level seeing which weapon is the most effective on every enemy. A must buy!

Verdict: 10/10
An awsome game no-one should miss out on! Buy it or regret it!
