"Hey Baby...Wanna Swing On My Pole?"

Clu Clu Land is one of the most original titles to come out of Nintendo...Considering some of the whacked out things that have come out of Nintendo that's a BIG compliment! (I love weird games!) Anyways...I think its about time to get on with the review...So let's begin...

Control-
A Nintendo game...I shouldnt have to say anymore but I think I will since some people dont know the magic of a Nintendo game controller. I have NEVER come across a Nintendo game that didnt have a perfect to near-perfect controller setup and Clu Clu Land is no exception. I think that this perfect record shall never be ruined, but thats just a theory ;)

Sound-
The sound is very well done for an NES game but it isnt exactly worthy of putting on a soundtrack and bumping in your car stereo...(Like Balloon Fight) but it isnt something that makes you wanna turn it down and put on some good music, although some classic rock to Clu Clu Land wouldnt be half bad =D

Gameplay-
Probably one of the most innovative games ever made and that is never a bad thing...Make a pretty picture by sticking out your arms and swinging off poles...Shoot an electric ball at the enemies...Smash em into a wall to kill em...Nice simple concept but something I could've never thought of myself. Hats off to Nintendo for thinking of such an original concept and executing it so perfectly!

Replayability-
Not so much...I cant stand how little replay value this game has. Clu Clu Land could be so great if we had a few extra modes. I wont complain about it to much but I am sad that they had to ruin a game like this by making the replayability almost worthless

Overall-
This game has almost no bad points except maybe the graphics, but I dont count graphics anyways due to the fact that games are made with gameplay not graphics. Clu Clu Land is another prime example of that and I would suggest it to anyone who wants a good time with thier NES!
