Alternate Method for Unlocking Zhang He
Instead of completing 11 stages to unlock Zhang He, on 'Battle of Guan Du - Wei Forces', burn down the supply depot Wu Chao. If Zhang He isn't defeated yet, he will defect and surrender to your side. At the end of the stage, he will be unlocked.

Unlock Meng Huo and Zhu Rong
You must be in Musou mode. Defeat Meng Huo seven times throughout the stage. At least one defeat must be a duel. Also, duel and defeat Zhu Rong. Complete Musou mode and Meng Huo and Zhu Rong will be unlocked.

Unlock Opening Edit

Complete the following tasks in Shu Musou mode to unlock the following characters:
Unlockable How to Unlock Huang Zhong Clear Act IV of Shu. Jiang Wei In Battle of Tian Shui Tales defeat all generals outside the castles. When Jiang Wei comes out, defeat his two subs, then lure him to Zhuge Liang. Ma Chao In 'Battle of Cheng Du', defeat Ma Chao when he arrives as enemy reinforcements. After the battle, he will be unlocked. Pang Tong Clear Act II of Shu. Wei Yan Clear Act IV of Shu. Yue Ying Clear Act IV of Shu Zhao Yun Clear Act II of Shu. Zhuge Liang Clear Act II of Shu. Unlockable How to Unlock Da Qiao During the 'Two Qiao's' Tales stage, locate and rescue both sisters (Da Qiao and Xiao Qiao) and escort them to the Escape Point. Gan Ning In Battle of Xia Kou, defeat Gan Ning, after Act IV, he will be unlocked. Lu Xun Clear Act IV of Wu. Lü Meng Clear Act I of Wu. Sun Ce Clear Act II of Wu. Sun Quan Clear Act III of Wu. Taishi Ci In 'Campaign for Wu Territory', defeat Taishi Ci. He will withdraw, and then rejoin the battle with Wu. He will be unlocked after this. Bug at Battle of Chang Ban - Walk in Wall (JP version)
From the top right entrance of the castle, go toward map bottom left, there will be a walled area containing two houses. Take a careful look at the top right entrance of that walled area, you can enter the walls from there.

Bug at Battle of Chen Du - Mountain Water Castle Wall (JP version)
Side - Nan Man Side.
Character - Yue Ying.
Must be equipped with a horse saddle.
Immediately after you click on Stage Start, press and hold L1 and Down on the directional button. Don't press any other buttons, and just keep the L1 and Down pressed even after the battle starts, and Yue Ying will walk up the mountain. Bug at Yellow Turban Rebellion - Walk on Air (JP version)
Character - a high jumper such as Zhang He.
Equip - Fly Boots.
At the top left area of the map is the fort with all the explosions. At the top right within that fort is a broken building with a different color as all the other broken buildings, this one is light brown. Try to jump up the broken walls of the broken building and you will land in mid-air.Contributed By: Muni Shinobu.
Encyclopedia Mistake
In the Encyclopedia "officers" section both Ling Tong and Ling Cao have the exact same birthdate and death information, which is impossible because Ling Tong is Ling Cao's son.

Secrets
A Trick To Not Lose Duels
During a duel, stand against the border fence, and aim your arrow towards the outside of the duel area.
You will never get attacked in this condition.

Unlock Way of Musou
Guan Yu's Escape- Wei Forces
VICTORY: Carriage (with Liu Bei's wives in it) or Guan Yu are routed.
DEFEAT: Carriage and Guan Yu make it to Yellow River (Escape Point).
Requirements: Pass through the fifth gate and a supply unit will appear. The supply unit will head south, east, and then north. It will withdraw inside a gate. If it withdraws, you lose the item. If you route the Supply Captain, an Item Box glowing red should appear. Pick the item box up and you gain the item.
Startegy: Damage Carriage so that when you get the item, you can quickly destroy Carriage.Contributed By: StarMageX.
