A. Introduction

I hope you'll pardon me, as this is my first submission to GameFAQs, but
lurking on the message boards of Wild Arms 3, I saw enough questions on
what gears do, where to find specific gears, and how effective some of them
are, that I thought I'd contribute to the what is now a small collection of
   FAQs....

B. About Gears

Gears are Items found either via creature drops or treasure chests that
can be attached to mediums to add Personal Skills to the attached medium.
These can range from immunities to status afflictions or elements, to being
able to counterattack, to giving you a percentage chance of doubleing your
   Gella.

It's highly advised that you think carefully about attaching gears,
espcially the rare ones, like Green Thumb; for once they are attached, they
_do not_ come off. They can only be deleted from the medium.
