1. Introduction
===============================================================================
Jojo's Bizarre Adventure was released in Japan at the date of 07/25/2002. It
was made by CAPCOM, after the success of the Jojo Arcade game - a game based on
series 3 - which got a PSX and a Dreamcast version.
Differently from the previous Jojo game, this one is not a 2D fighter. Instead,
it uses cel-shading graphics, and the action is now done on 3D arenas. There
are considerably fewer modes than the other game, and you can only fight as
the protagonists.
This game is based on series 5 of the Jojo's Bizarre Adventure Manga, which
takes place mostly on the 90's Italy. The protagonist is Giorno Giovanna (born
Haruno Shiobana), a youngster that is actually the son of Dio Brando, the
villain of parts 1 and 3 of the same manga. The relation between Giorno and Dio
only goes as far as that, since they never met each other and Giorno never knew
what Dio did. Giorno's objective is to gain ranks on the italian mafia until he
can control all of it. Although this is considered mostly an "evil" goal,
Giorno actually wants control of the mafia so he can spread order, since he
dislikes the methods of the current mafia, and doesn't trust the police.
The game has fewer modes than most games around, so you can say it's kind of
linear and limited. There's a main mode that follows Giorno's group travel
through Italy to kill Diavolo, a secret mode that replays the same battles
- but now you can choose between four characters, a Gallery mode, which shows
some Jojo goodies based on the number of Jojo Points you have, and the Option
Mode.
Take note: this guide was written based on the Japanese version of the game.
===============================================================================
2. Game Modes
===============================================================================
1. Super Story Mode (SS Mode)
You follow the travels of Giorno and co. through Italy to confront Diavolo.
There are cutscenes between stages and during some fights.
2. Another Story
A secret mode that is unlocked when you complete Super Story Mode. In this mode
you replay some of the fights of SS Mode, but now you can choose between 4
characters, which weren't originally on that stage.
3. Gallery
Mode that has Jojo goodies based on how much Jojo points you have. This mode is
not initially available, you need to finish at least one SS Mode fight and go
back to the main menu.
4. Options
Sound and control options.
===============================================================================
3. Controls/System/Playable Characters
===============================================================================
D-Pad, Left Analog Stick: Movement
L1: Call Stand (Turns ON) - if turned ON, then L1 turns the Stand OFF
R1: Stand Shoot
X,/\: Attacks that vary between characters
O: Dodge Roll
[]: Punch combo
Run and hold []: knockdown attack
Block: Turn Stand ON and don't attack - the Stand blocks automatically
The R1, /\ and X attacks may only be performed if you can use your Stand (i.e.
not in the floor or Stand Crushed). However, some characters can use these
attacks without a Stand (Trish's X button attack).
Other commands:
Safe Fall: Press O the instant you touch the floor (only if you can use your
Stand)
Wall block: If you get thrown into a wall and your Stand is turned ON, it will
try to block subsequent attacks until you slide down
Escape from grab: wiggle the LEFT analog stick.
Now, for the characters move list:
1. Giorno Giovanna/GioGio (Stand: Gold Experience)
---------------------------------------------------
Stand ON
Triangle - "Gives life" - creates a frog that sticks to Giorno. The frog jumps
off after a while, then it just jumps around aimlessly. When the frog jumps off
Giorno, it can hit the opponent.
X - Shoots a vine through the floor. If it catches the enemy, it will restrain
him for a while.
R1 - Machinegun fists.
Stand OFF
Triangle - "Gives life" - creates an insect that tracks down the enemy (or just
flies around aimlessly).
X - Punches the floor and creates a tree that hangs the enemy up if it
connects.
R1 - A powerful punch.
2. Giorno Giovanna/GioGio (Stand: Gold Experience Requiem)
-----------------------------------------------------------
You only use this Stand for the last fight in Super Story Mode.
Changes from normal Gold Experience:
- Gold Experience is immune to the effects of King Crimson's time skip. However
Giorno is still affected.
- The X button now fires a projectile.
3. Bruno Bucciarati (Stand: Sticky Fingers)
---------------------------------------------
Note: The game refers to him as Buccellati.
Stand ON
Triangle - Travels through the floor with a zipper. Hold down to go further.
You can change direction 4 times before stopping (doesn't really change
direction, you only change the angle a little).
X - Punches the ground to create a zipper that holds the enemy in place.
R1 - Punches the enemy upwards, then Machinegun fists.
Stand OFF
Triangle - Makes a "pocket hole" that you can use to travel underground. Hold
down to extend the duration. You can still move while underground, albeit
slower. You're invincible while underground, but you can't attack the enemy.
X - A fast punch which extends Sticky Finger's hand.
R1 - A powerful punch.
4. Narancia Ghirga (Stand: Aerosmith)
------------------------------------------------
Note: Narancia's Stand is a remote type, so he'll stay in place while his Stand
is activated.
Stand ON
Triangle - Forward dash.
X - Air-to-ground bomb.
R1 - Lunges forward. If it connects, traps enemy and shoots him.
Stand OFF
Triangle - Low kick. If it hits, you can press it again for more kicks.
X - Just like the Stand Shoot, but also shoots the enemy.
R1 - Lunges forward and grazes the enemy multiple times.
5. Pannacotta Fugo (Stand: Purple Haze)
----------------------------------------
Note: Fugo's Stand is a remote type, so he'll stay in the same place while his
Stand is activated. Purple Haze has a strange effect however: if it's ON and
the Stand Bar depletes, he'll start scratching himself and will be unable to
fight (it's quite problematic), so you have to turn it OFF and wait for the
Stand Bar to refill.
Also, Purple Haze can move like and independent character. He has a dodge move
too, the problem is that he walks really slowly. Another property of this Stand
is that the enemy loses life while in contact with it.
Stand ON
Triangle - Purple Haze creates clouds of smoke.
X - Throws some sort of poisonous projectile to the ground.
R1 - Grabs the enemy and then punches him.
Stand OFF
Triangle - Fugo has some sort of flash. It looks like a taunt.
X - The Stand punches the floor and a cloud of poisonous smoke surronds Fugo.
R1 - The stand walks around and punches.
6. Leone Abbaccio (Stand: Moody Blues)
---------------------------------------
Stand ON
Triangle - Play the record (see Triangle with Stand OFF below).
X - Grabs the enemy. Press any buttons to make Moody Blues do a combo of
punches. The enemy can release himself from this.
R1 - The Stand will detach from Abbachio and walk toward the enemy. Any attacks
that Abbaccio performs, the Stand will mimic. Remember the Tandem Attack from
the Arcade JJBA? It's the same concept, only slower.
Stand OFF
Triangle - The Stand will watch Abbaccio and record all his movements, for a
maximum time of 10 seconds. If you press it again, the record is over. If you
or the Stand are attacked, the recording stops. To play the record, turn the
Stand ON and press Triangle.
X - Abbaccio does a low kick. If it hits, he kicks the enemy again, to the
ground.
R1 - A powerful punch.
7. Guido Mista (Stand: Sex Pistols)
-------------------------------------
Stand ON
Triangle - Recharges gun.
X - Strong shot. If any of the Pistols are out, Mista tries to make them
ricochet the bullets towards the enemy.
R1 - Strong shot. If held down, will shoot the Pistols (the Stand) at the enemy
too, although they don't do damage. They'll circle around the enemy to ricochet
the bullets on subsequent shots.
Stand OFF
Triangle - Recharges weapon.
X - Strong shot. Mista won't try to make the bullets ricochet, he'll shoot
straight.
R1 - Strong shot. If held down, will shoot the Pistols (the Stand) at the enemy
too, although they don't do damage. They'll be there to ricochet the bullets
for you.
8. Trish Una (Stand: Spice Girl)
---------------------------------------
Stand ON
Triangle - Hits the ground with some sort of pole.
X - Slaps the enemy, making him bounce on the floor.
R1 - Machine gun fists. WANABEEEE!
Stand OFF
Triangle - A taunt. It can damage.
X - A flying kick. Always knocks the enemy down.
R1 - A powerful punch.
9. Jean Pierre Polnareff (Stand: Silver Chariot)
--------------------------------------------------
Note: Silver Chariot's [] attack will knock down on the second hit.
Stand ON
Triangle - Shoots the sword at the enemy.
X - Two horizontal strikes that knock the enemy down.
R1 - Million Spit. The same attack from the Arcade JJBA game.
Stand OFF
Triangle - Shoots the sword at the enemy.
X - A vertical strike that lifts the enemy up.
R1 - Silver Chariot lunges at the enemy. It drags Polnareff along.
===============================================================================
4. Walkthrough
===============================================================================
Some explanations first:
1) Secret Factors:
The Stand Shoot move is performed by pressing R1, with your Stand either ON or
OFF. Most of the Secret Factors are attained by Stand Shooting some object at
the right time.
The Stand Shoot has three levels, with the Stand either ON or OFF. Level 1 is
the normal R1 attack. Hold R1 and you'll see a visual effect onscreen, and a
subtle sound. This is level 2. Hold it down for some more time and you'll see
the same effect again. This is level 3. If you're hit while holding R1, you go
back to level 1.
However, if you're trying to Stand Shoot anything that's not your enemy,
like background objects, walls and such, you have to turn it OFF, since it
locks on the enemy automatically when it's turned ON. You can still hit objects
between you and your enemy if it's turned ON, though.
The Secret Factors, unless stated otherwise, can be done in any order.
Each Secret Factor heals you a little and expands your health bar. So, it's
easier to get a 100% health score by getting the Secret Factors first, although
it's not really needed.
When you discover all Secret Factors in a stage, the word "MAX" appears inside
the heart to the left of your health bar.
2) Score:
In each stage, you can score a maximum of 200 points. Half comes from your
health bar, and the other half comes from the amount of Secret Factors you
discovered.
So let's say, if you finished the stage with 50% of health, you get 50 points.
If you finish it unscathed, you get 100 points, which is the maximum.
For the Secret Factors, just know that getting them all in a stage is worth
100 points in that particular stage. You still get points if you don't discover
all Secret Factors, but the percentage varies for each stage, because each
Factor has its own importance. So let's say there are 4 Secret Factors on a
stage and you get 3 of them. That won't net you 75%, because most likely each
of these Factors has a different weight, and thus each of them DON'T equal 25%.
The individual top scores stay after you finish the stage one time, so you
don't have to do a 100/100 in one try. As an example, say you finished a stage
one time and got 100% health, but only 75% of Secret Factors. If you play the
same stage again, you only need to aim for 100% of the Secret Factors, because
your health top score (100%) is already saved. The same counts for the Secret
Factors.
A last note on this. If you finish an already cleared stage, the game will only
ask if you want to save if you beat your previous high score, be it health
score or Secret Factors.
===============================================================================
1-1: GioGio (Gold Experience) vs Bruno Buccellati (Sticky Fingers)
===============================================================================
This is just a tutorial stage. First, follow the instructions on the screen,
then do as you please.
* If you Stand Shoot any of the fire extinguishers, it turns into a snake and
tries to attack Buccellati. If it connects, it will hold Buccellati in place.
SECRET FACTORS
1) Stand Shoot Buccellati.
2) Stand Shoot Buccellati while he's between the seats.
3) Stand Shoot Sticky Fingers.
4) Stand Shoot any of the fire extinguishers.
===============================================================================
1-2: GioGio (Gold Experience) vs Bruno Buccellati (Sticky Fingers)
===============================================================================
There will be a timer on the beginning. Buccellati will teleport between
several locations on the stage, and wait for you to approach him. When you do,
he runs to another location to try to teleport again - he won't attack you yet.
To know where he is, turn your Stand ON, it will automatically turn around to
where Buccellati is. Turn it OFF to run after him, of course.
After you damage him enough, there will be a cutscene and the timer disappears.
He hides inside one of the people on the street, so you have to find which one
is the right person. It's always the person with the yellow cap.
You can Stand Shoot the objects (benches, barrels, trash cans). They'll turn
into various things, and will track Bruno down, just like the snakes on the
first stage.
SECRET FACTORS:
1) Stand Shoot any object.
2) After Buccellati hides in one person, look around for a tooth on the floor.
It's right in the place where you start after the cutscene. Stand Shoot it and
there will be another cutscene, then you get it.
3) After Buccellati hides in one person, Stand Shoot any person save for the
guy with the yellow cap.
4) Stand Shoot the guy with the yellow cap.
Note: 3 must be done before 4.
===============================================================================
2-1: GioGio (Gold Experience) vs Black Sabbath
===============================================================================
At first, Black Sabbath will stay inside the shadows. He'll try to grab you
if you get near. Dodge his grab and force him into the sunlight, with either
a knock down attack (hold [] down) or Stand Shoot.
After a cutscene, he will change tactics: he will enter the shadow of one of
the crows flying around and go after you. To avoid the shadow, roll when it's
almost reaching you. To know which crow is the right one is easy: it's the
crow that actively goes after you. After you evade his attack, hold him in the
light with machinegun fists for hefty damage. Repeat until you win.
If you get caught, wiggle the left analog stick (and only it) to release
yourself.
SECRET FACTORS:
1) Attack Black Sabbath one time when he is in the shadows.
2) When the bird shadows come at you, roll to dodge it. Giorno will say
something. Then you get it.
3) Attack the enemy when he's out in the sun. For an easier way, roll when one
of the shadows come near you, and do the machinegun fists (R1 with Stand ON)
when he appears.
4) Attack any of the pillars in the middle of the stage with a Stand Shoot.
Note: 1 must be done before 4.
===============================================================================
3-1: Narancia (Aerosmith) vs Formaggio (Little Feet)
===============================================================================
One of the easiest fights, it's pretty straightforward. Just be careful so
Narancia doesn't stay near a car, since if it explodes Narancia will also be
damaged.
SECRET FACTORS:
1) Attack a car until it explodes.
2) Stand Shoot a rat. You can find a rat by looking at the radar. They're the
smaller dots.
3) After Formaggio shrinks, pay attention if he hides inside a rat. If he does,
Stand Shoot that rat.
4) Let Little Feet attack you so you're shrunk. In the scene that ensues,
Formaggio will try to stomp Narancia. If you do not get hurt until Narancia
grows back, you get it.
===============================================================================
4-1: Fugo (Purple Haze) vs Illusio (Man in the Mirror)
===============================================================================
Note: You can't use your Stand.
The objective here is to survive for 2 minutes. The game will make you believe
the controls are reversed, but they aren't totally reversed, only left/right
are. This is one of the hardest stages in the game just because of that.
Stay away from the glass in the floor. If you see the enemy Stand trying to
grab you, roll away. Just be careful to not activate your Stand after the
Secret Factor, because Fugo will stay in place, completely vulnerable.
SECRET FACTORS:
1) Try to activate your Stand.
2) Pass in front of the last mirror on the right.
3) Touch the garbage can near the door in the right side of the stage.
4) Pass in front of the last mirror in the left (the one that's broken).
===============================================================================
4-2: Abbacio (Moody Blues) vs Illusio (Man in the Mirror)
===============================================================================
The objective is to attack him until the marked portion of HP. Abbaccio is in
the mirrored room and his Stand is in the normal room, pay attention to that.
SECRET FACTORS:
1) Automatic.
===============================================================================
4-3: Fugo (Purple Haze) vs Illusio (Man in the Mirror)
===============================================================================
Note that Fugo remotely controls his Stand, and will be immobile until you turn
it off.
This is a mix between 4-1 and 4-2. Now you can finally beat Illusio, and he
will change rooms more often, even if you don't attack him. You can't trap him
with your Stand, unlike Giorno, so this will take some time.
SECRET FACTORS:
1) Automatic.
2) Defeat the opponent with a level 3 Stand Shoot.
===============================================================================
5-1: Buccellati (Sticky Fingers) vs Prosciutto (Grateful Dead)
===============================================================================
If you follow the Secret Factors, this becomes a lot easier. First go to the
bar and Stand Shoot Pesci (the guy lying near the bar) for starters. Now run to
the back of the car and punch the icing machine so that the life-draining of
Grateful Dead is nullified for a while. Go near the bar again and Stand Shoot
the last wall (it's the wall without a window). After the cutscene, try to
punch Prosciutto towards the opening to end the stage. Remember to turn you
Stand ON and hold [] down, because your Stand Shoot won't knock him through it.
If the need arises, go back to the icing machine and attack it again.
SECRET FACTORS:
1) Stand shoot Pesci, the guy lying near the bar (at the front of the car).
2) Attack the icing machine at the back of the car, until it spills some ice
cubes.
3) Stand shoot the last wall at the front of the car. It's the wall without a
window.
4) Knock Prosciutto through the opening you made.
Note: 1 must be done first, or you'll lose 3 and 4.
===============================================================================
5-2: Buccellati (Sticky Fingers) vs Pesci (Beach Boy)
===============================================================================
Pesci will start by catching you with the hook, try to stay away from him and
wiggle the left analog stick to release yourself. To dodge his hook, you
actually have to roll towards Pesci, not to the sides.
SECRET FACTORS:
1) Unhook yourself from the enemy's line at the beginning.
2) Stand Shoot Pesci.
3) When Prosciutto uses Grateful Dead (his portrait will appear and he'll say
something - also your health bar will start to glow a gray color) run over to
him and Stand Shoot him. He's lying on the floor in the left part of the
screen, near the train.
4) Defeat Pesci with a level 3 Stand Shoot.
===============================================================================
6-1: Mista (Sex Pistols) vs White Album
===============================================================================
The objective here is to survive until time runs out. Your X attack will knock
White Album off his feet, but sometimes he will see it coming and dodge. He
won't dodge two times consecutively, so you can use it the first one as a fluke
to get him into position.
SECRET FACTORS:
1) Shoot White Album (R1).
2) Use the X attack with your stand OFF to knock White Album off his feet.
3) Same as 2. He will see it coming and dodge, but won't dodge two consecutive
times.
===============================================================================
6-2: Mista (Sex Pistols) vs White Album
===============================================================================
You can either follow the Secret Factors for an easy fight or fight on your
own - there's plenty of ways to tackle this stage. White Album can only be hit
from the back, but he won't stop often for that to happen. To create an
opening, get in his way and roll (O) so he attacks in a straight line and turns
his back to you. Then you can shoot.
After a while, he'll create some sort of shield - you'll see fog surround him
beforehand - to deflect your bullets back to you. When the shield is active,
you can still attack without being hurt. Just turn your Stand ON and use the X
attack instead of the [] one. Since it's not a direct attack, it won't get
deflected back at you.
You can also shoot his back with X (stand OFF) so he'll fall to the floor. You
can get some free shots in that situation, but he can still create the shield.
SECRET FACTORS:
1) Stand Shoot the small lion statue on the top of the screen.
2) Shoot White Album when the shield is active. You don't need to attack him
directly, you can make the Pistols ricochet the bullets at him.
3) Shoot at least one of the lamp posts. Then wait for a cutscene and spikes
will grow on that post. You can shoot all four of them if you want, but the
Secret Factor is only unlocked after the cutscene.
4) Shoot White Album onto the spikes. This is actually done differently than
you think; you have to shoot White Album from the front, so your attack pushes
him back. The best way to do it is to get a lamp post between White Album and
you. When he passes by the lamp post, shoot him until he sticks to the spikes.
The X attack pushes him back farther than the [] one, but it has a longer
recovery time.
===============================================================================
7-1: Buccellati (Sticky Fingers) vs ???? (King Crimson)
===============================================================================
Survive for 1 minute. The Secret Factors make this easier, so try to get them.
Be careful with his grab and don't rush in, since he can teleport.
SECRET FACTORS:
1) Stand shoot King Crimson.
2) Stand shoot King Crimson while you're near Trish (you start near her).
===============================================================================
7-2: Buccellati (Sticky Fingers) vs ???? (King Crimson)
===============================================================================
Now King Crimson will come at full force, but you don't need to empty his whole
life bar, only the lighter portion. He will start the fight with a straight
punch, just like the previous one. One Stand Shoot from Sticky Fingers and a
couple of punches is enough to end this stage.
SECRET FACTORS:
1) Automatic.
===============================================================================
8-1: Trish Una (Spice Girl) vs Notorious B.I.G
===============================================================================
Trish doesn't have a Stand in the beginning, so don't try to attack the enemy.
He only has a grabbing attack, which is unblockable - since you have no Stand.
There are two ways to overcome this:
1) The enemy is susceptible to sound. So if you walk slowly, he won't run
at you. Hit the seats so he attacks them instead of you. When you're near the
brooch, run for it.
2) Run, roll through the enemy. Run again and the enemy will try another
grab. Don't try to outrun him - you can't. When he tries this other attack,
just roll again. Sometimes he will grab you even if you roll, so you have
to keep trying.
After you get the brooch, your Stand is activated. Attack the seats to divert
enemy attention, then do as you please. Note that attacking the seats with your
Stand will make them creak more times than if you attacked it with Trish's
punches.
SECRET FACTORS:
1) Attack any of the seats with Trish.
2) Get the brooch.
3) Stand Shoot any of the seats.
4) While Notorious B.I.G. is busy attacking one of the seats, use your Triangle
attack on it (Stand ON).
===============================================================================
8-2: Trish Una (Spice Girl) vs Notorious B.I.G.
===============================================================================
Resident Evil 2. Surviving for two minutes will prove difficulty for most
people, since you have almost no room to dodge attacks.
I have two strategies for this:
1 - Stand Shoot Notorius B.I.G. 3 times (Stand OFF), back away, wait for his
counterattack (a swipe) and start again.
2 - Stand Shoot Notorius B.I.G. (Stand ON) and back away from it. B.I.G. will
counterattack, but only your Stand will be hit. Get near it again and repeat.
The hardest part, even with a clear strategy is to dodge his straight attack.
He doesn't telegraph it, it goes all the way to the front of the plane and it
can still hit you while you're lying on the floor.
SECRET FACTORS:
1) Automatic.
===============================================================================
9-1: Intermission
===============================================================================
There's no battle, just cutscenes.
===============================================================================
10-1: Mista (Sex Pistols) vs Secco (Oasis) & Cioccolata (Green Day)
===============================================================================
Most annoying stage in the game, I dare to say. You have to figure a way to
reach the highest portion of the city, while dodging Secco's attacks. There's
also the mold getting in your way.
Since the strategy here involves the Secret Factors, I'll just list them and
let you decide what to do.
SECRET FACTORS:
1) Stand Shoot Secco.
2) To the north of where you begin (behind Secco), there's a box in front of a
ramp. Shoot that box and traverse the ramp.
3) At the first stairs, there will be a billboard on the left. Shoot it.
4) On the stairs to the left of 3, go to the small stairs that end at a door.
Look up, where the gap is, and shoot the rail on the other side. It'll fall and
you can jump towards it (hold up to jump automatically).
Note: If Secco tosses you into the billboard and it breaks, you'll lose the
3rd Secret Factor.
===============================================================================
10-2: GioGio (Gold Experience) vs Cioccolata (Green Day)
===============================================================================
Pretty straightforward stage. Stay away from the Stand, since if it hits you,
some mold will become attached to you - it will take some life from time to
time, until it disappears. You have to run around to make it disappear, don't
stay in the same place or it will take forever to do so.
SECRET FACTORS:
1) Attack Cioccolata's Stand.
2) Stand Shoot Cioccolata when he's in one piece.
3) Stand Shoot Cioccolata when his pieces are scattered.
4) Defeat Cioccolata with a level 3 Stand Shoot.
===============================================================================
10-3: Buccelatti (Sticky Fingers) vs Secco (Oasis)
===============================================================================
You don't need to get the Secret Factors here for an easy win, it's a pretty
straightforward fight. When you take away 1/3 of his health, he will gain
another attack - some sort of rain.
For the Secret Factors here, please note something important. To make Secco
dive and look around for you (not just dive and come back), you'll have to run
away a little and wait - don't move. If he comes towards you diving, get out
of the way and try it again. You'll know it worked when he takes a long time to
come back.
Even so, he'll see you if you're in front of him. You have to wait until he
appears with his back turned to you. He'll look around a little (don't move
yet) and say "Nani?" ("What?" in japanese). That's when you can attack him for
the first Secret Factor.
SECRET FACTORS:
1) Have him look around for you (see above) and Stand Shoot him.
2) Attack one of the cars (there are 3 cars) until a tire pops out.
3) Have him dive near a car - just like when he looks around for you - and pop
that car's tire. If you get it, a cutscene will follow. This is the hardest one
to get, because sometimes it just doesn't happen. Note that the tire will pop
after four of Buccellati's normal attacks.
Note: Must be done in order.
===============================================================================
11-1: Polnareff (Silver Chariot) vs Diavolo (King Crimson)
===============================================================================
It's Polnareff! Pay attention, the BGM here is a remix of Polnareff's theme
from the arcade Jojo's Bizarre Adventure (the one made by CAPCOM).
This fight is pretty straightforward too, just three things:
- Polnareff can't roll. The O button does a dash instead;
- If Polnareff is Stand Crushed, and is knocked down afterwards, you'll have to
wait for the Stand Gauge to refill, because Polnareff can't get up without his
Stand;
- King Crimson's shockwave punch covers the entire screen, so you have to block
it.
You can use R1 (Stand OFF - no need to aim) to trap Diavolo in a combo until
you end the stage. Also, the [] attack can hit two times - the second hit
knocks down.
SECRET FACTORS:
1) Stand Shoot Diavolo.
2) Stand Shoot Diavolo's Stand.
===============================================================================
11-2: Diavolo (Sticky Fingers) vs Silver Chariot Requiem (Sticky Fingers)
===============================================================================
Requiem will slowly walk towards the gate, and at each 10 meters, the game will
warn you how much until he makes it to the gate. You have to knock Requiem out
while dodging the other Sticky Fingers.
Differently from other characters, Requiem isn't affected when his "Stand" is
hit, neither he can be Stand Crushed. However, if Requiem is knocked down, the
other Sticky Fingers will disappear until he gets up. The best course of action
is to try and hit both at the same time, or make it so both are in front of you
and unleash your fury. Use your knockdown attack (hold [] with the Stand ON) to
knock Requiem backwards.
Don't be fancy on using Stand Shoot (Stand ON) on the other Sticky Fingers, he
is too fast for it to hit him. It works great against Requiem, but Sticky
Fingers can still move while Requiem is being hit (he only disappears if
Requiem is knocked down).
SECRET FACTORS:
1) Stand Shoot Sticky Fingers.
2) Stand Shoot Requiem.
===============================================================================
11-3: GioGio (Gold Experience) vs Diavolo (King Crimson)
===============================================================================
The last fight. Now Diavolo won't hold back, but you have a great advantage
over him: your Stand isn't affected by Diavolo's time skip ability.
The strategy here is to have your Stand ON almost all the time, because Diavolo
tends to use his time skip most of the time - also, in case he uses the
shockwave punch, you can block it.
Since your Stand is not affected by the time skip, just attack Diavolo with it
(Giorno is still affected). Be careful when near Diavolo, sometimes he throws
blood on the screen to ruin you vision, and it takes a while to get off. If you
need some room to refill your Stand Gauge, run to the bridge to the north.
Even if Diavolo activates the time skip, it will take some time until he gets
there.
Otherwise, just proceed as normal. Annoy him with your new X attack or just
pummel him with R1.
When you take 100% of Diavolo's health, he'll automatically refill some of it
(one time only), look out for that.
SECRET FACTORS:
1) Automatic.
2) Attack Diavolo with X (Stand ON - it's the projectile attack).
3) When Diavolo activates the time skip, be sure that your Stand is ON. You
have to keep him away for the duration of the time skip (preferably with the X
attack).

END: SPOILS
===============================================================================
When you complete Super Story Mode, you get:
- Another Story, where you can play most of the battles from SS Mode, but now
being able to choose between 4 characters, excluding the one that plays that
stage in SS Mode.
- You can now choose Super Story Mode stages freely.
- Gallery Mode, where you can look on character art, sketches and 3D models.
The number of items in the gallery depends on how many Jojo points you have.
===============================================================================
5. Another Story Mode
===============================================================================
To play the SS Mode stages on Another Story, you have to get at least 150
points on that stage.
Not all stages can be played, mostly the repeating ones (Illusio's stage, King
Crimson's first fight), but you can choose any of the four available
characters. There are no Secret Factors, meaning you only get a maximum of 100
points on each stage - only health matters. So if you finish a stage with 65%
health, you get 65 points and so on.

6. Gallery Mode
===============================================================================
Like the previous JJBA game (the PSX game), you gain JoJo points to unlock
various goodies in Gallery Mode. A few items will be available at the start, so
you have to get more. The method to get all JoJo points is at the start of the
walkthrough.
There are set intervals in which you gain a new item, but I didn't bother to
take note of them. The maximum amount of JoJo points is 10200. On that moment
you should have all items unlocked.
Now for the mode itself. The selection screen is a room, most likely a room the
protagonists used before going after Diavolo (if you read the manga, you can
see it). Each of the objects listed below activate a different option:
DRAWERS - Stage Sketches
You can see sketches of the stages. They are sort of storyboards that are drawn
before they render the stage in 3D.
SOUND SYSTEM - Sound Test
There are three options: Sound Effect, BGM and Voices.
GREEN BOOK - Story Drama
Dramas are voiced dialogues, sort of one of these old radio shows with Soap
Operas. It's popular in Japan, and most games/animes/mangas have been
dramatized. You can hear the dramas for 5 fights from the manga. Since these
fights didn't it into the game, they were dramatized instead.
PHOTOS ON THE WALL - Model Test
You can see, rotate and do various things with all the character models that
are in the game.
MAP - Stage Test
Choose a stage, then you'll enter a free roaming mode.
RACK OF BOOKS - Collection
Artworks of each of the main characters.
POSTER - Art Covers
There are two arts here. They look like promotional art for the game, but I'm
not sure.

7. Secrets and Miscellaneous
===============================================================================
Gallery Mode
To unlock this, finish any fight on Super Story Mode and go back to the main
menu.
Another Story
Finish Super Story Mode once.
Free-Choice in Super Story Mode
Finish Super Story Mode once. Now you can choose any battle in SS Mode.
Different Intro Voice
Every time you start the game and go to the Press Start screen, you'll hear a
different person yell. Giorno yells "Mudaaa!", Polnareff says "Silver Chariot!"
