Welcome to my Weapons/Upgrades FAQ of Mega Man X7 on the PS2 and PC. This is my
first (accepted) FAQ on GameFAQs. This guide will attempt to cover every aspect
of chips, powerups, weapons and more to the full extent of my knowledge.

Defeating Mavericks (The bosses at the end of the each of the eight main 
stages) will give your characters new weapons, which can be switched on the 
pause menu or with the right analog stick. X and Axl share weapons, but Zero
has his own set.

Dr Light Capsules give you different upgrades to your armor and gun. Only X has
Dr Light Capsules in the Mega Man X series. The location of each upgrade
follows. When completed, the armor is called the Glide Armor.

There are 128 Reploids you can rescue in Mega Man X8, however this FAQ will
only cover the 16 Reploids (2 per stage) that carry Upgrade Chips.
