This FAQ is for the PS2 game MTX:MotoTrax. This is the first FAQ that I have
written and it should contain all the information that you will need while
playing MTX:MotoTrax. If you want to use this FAQ on your site then contact
me by email and tell me the url of your site. You can only post this on your
site if I Reply saying ok.

3. Main Menu
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
MTX Career- You must create a rider. You can race both MX and SX, as well
as compete in Freestyle events including X Games 9.
Exibition- Single Race - Ride a single race against 7 cpu oppents.
Freeride - Head to one of the freeride levels and just do
whatever.
Freestyle - Go to a Freestyle Arean and complete the
objectives and compete in the freestyle event.
Ghost Race - Pick a rider, a coruse and race a ghost of your
fastest lap time.
Created track - Race on Created tracks you've made.
Multiplayer- Single Race - Race a single track.
Race Series - Compete in a Series of races.
Created Track - Take your Racing battle to your created track.
Network Play - Take your rider,bike and skills online and
compete with the big boys.
Dirt Wurx USA- Create your custom tracks using this state of the art
Track editor.
Custom Rider- Make yourself or a pro, create your custom rider to take
into the action.
Options- Everything from, game options,sound options,videos,cheats.

FreeRide Levels

Travis's Compound- This is the first stop in the game, Travis Pastrana's
house. Here you'll learn game basics along with some
advanced stuff to give you an edge.
Everglades- The second stop on the freeride circuit, the Everglades, is
straight out of the south. There are a ton of things to do here
make sure you explore the whole area. Watch out for the
designated trick areas and complete them all to open up
something special(not sure what).
Rock Quarry- What better place to ride a dirt bike than an entire pit
devoted to dirt. The quarry offers some primo spots for racing,
chasing and getting huge air.
Redwoods- If you made it this far your doing something right. The pacific
north west is a good place to ride around in. There are
trees,Waterfalls and Gullies waiting for you and your bike.

5. Freeride Objectives

Travis's Compound
-------------------
Jump 200Ft- Any big jump will do for this, jump over his house, over the
garage or the launch ramp setup to jump the river in the second
race works good too.
Wheelie 400Ft- Near the start, head over to the gate in the driveway gain
some speed down the driveway and begin the wheelie, you'll
easily get 400Ft if you balnce the bike well.
Training Race- After travis shows you around he heads down the driveway to
the race track, head down and race him.
Wheelie Around the Bus- Just do a wheelie around the bus near the garage,
the more laps you wheelie around it the more money
you get.($5 a lap)
Kenny's Trick Training- Near the jump we used to jump the river in the
second race against travis. theres a little
freestyle track you cut throught to hit the ramp,
just stop and get the goal from Kenny, he teachs
you some pretty basic tricks.
Hill Climb- Using the jump to clear the river again, jump the river,
after landing turn right and go up the pathway to a get
this goal. You have to ride up a hill to get to the 2 trees
on top, path winds up the side of the hill and its easy
to mistake the turns.
Big Trial Race- This is the second race against Travis, You can find him
riding around the course you'll be racing on. Areas you
can wait to find him easily: right at the first track
start gate, the track heads towards the gate and takes
a turn into the woods, the trick traing area, track runs
between the launch and landing ramps heading towards the
ramp to jump the river.
High Score- After completing the trick training Kenny can be found standing
near the launch ramp, he'll challenge you to bet his high score.
Zack's Chase Race- Zack can be found in the garage, go around back to the
jump and jump in the little window in the back, just win
the race to complete.
Garage Escape- You got 90 seconds to get out of the garage, this goal is
activated by winning the race against Zack, just ride up to
the upper level and go across the board and out the window
you first came in.
Backflip Tutorial- After escaping from the garage turn right and travis
will teach you how to backflip into the foam pit.
Everglades
(Unlock by completing the Butterfinger Freestyle Event)

Jump 200Ft- Locate the airplane wing jump, head up the hill into the woods
behind it, you'll notice a gap in the trees near the top, keep
going up there togain extra speed for the jump.
Wheelie 500Ft- Head back up the hill to the top in the trees where we used
to complete the 200Ft jump, gain a little speed and wheelie
for the 500Ft.
Zed's Steeple Chase- Straight in front of where you start, talk to the rider
on the bike.
Zed's Steeple Chase2- After you race Zed the first time he stops at the can
with the fire in it at the finish line, just turn
around and talk to him to race him.
Chase the Biker- After you finish steeple chase2 a guy appears near the can
on fire, he asks you to chase the biker, just follow the
biker and bump him 3 times to complete this goal.
Barge Hop- Head down to where the barges are, a little past the gator pit.
You need to jump from one barge to the next till you get to
the dock.
Barge Hop2- Same as barge hop but instead of goin to the dock you go from
the dock back to the shore.(Barges turned so the jumps are
facing the right way, also left side seems easier to me.)
Follow the Leader- Kenny can be found driving around near the trialer by
the creek. Just follow him and do the tricks he does.
Landing Tricks Tutorial- After completing follow the leader head over to
the gator pit, Kenny will teach you how to do
landing modifiers.(tap Square(PS2) just before
your rider is about to complete the trick, a
little practice and you'll land them no problem.)
Baja Race Challenge- Another race, this time it goes around the whole island,
you can find Baja Bob riding around, a good spot to
find him is near the big tree stump off it the woods
near the backside of the level from where you start.
Rock Quarry
(Unlock by completing the Nixon Freestyle Event)
--------------------------------------------------
Jump 250Ft- After you get the keys to the dumptruck and its backed up
making a bigger jump use the road comming down towards the
jump, get as much speed as you can, you are goin to have to
slide around the bottem corner prefectly to still have
enough speed to go the distance required.
Wheelie 600Ft- Using the hill we used to jump 250Ft, gain some speed and
wheelie to the crane.
Pipe Ride!- Right by where you start off you'll find Carey, he'll get you
to ride through the 8 pipes.
Dump Truck Distance Jump- After "Pipe Ride" head ove to the dumb truck,
talk to Carey again and he'll get you to jump
into the dumb truck get the keys and bring
them back.(Completing this makes an awsome jump)
Collect the Tools- Go to the crane and talk to Tommy, he'll send you to
find the tools(5) to fix the crane.(Watch the whole
video it shows all the tool locations)
Step up Challenge- After collecting the tools for Tommy, head back to the
crane and he'll get you to jump through the pipe, he'll
raise it after each jump(3 times).
Hill Climb- Near the dumptruck talk to the guy by the hill, he'll tell you
to climb the hill, just follow the path up the side, but
becareful its steep,twisty and easy to fall.
Conveyor Belt- head over to the conveyor belts that it shows it the open
level video, on top of the platform were the dumptruck is,
there is a quarry worker, talk to him. He makes you jump
from conveyor belt to conveyor belt, he has them color coded
for you to know where to jump to, there all straight jumps
except one thats on a angle going over the only flat Conveyor
belt(not slanted from the ground up as a jump).
Travis's FTL- You can find Travis riding around hitting the jumps near
the crane and dumptruck. Just follow him and do the tricks
he does.(Barrel Roll = up+down+circle+right(PS2) in that
order before you leave the jump.)
Chase Travis- He can be found near the Coveyor belts after you complete
Travis's FTL, the idea behind this is for you to follow
travis, only to end this challenge by him making fun of
you because he won, but none the less passing him is
useless and not recommended, as soon as you think
you know where hes going, hes gone somewhere else.
Trail Race- You need to find Carey who's waiting up on the very top
ring around the outside of the qaurry, from where you
start the level up by the pipes turn around and head away
from the pipes, when you come to the outside of the level
turn left and drive until you find him and his friend.
Just win the race around the whole quarry to complete
this objective.
