Welcome to my first character FAQ, this FAQ is for the character Havik. I
decided to write a FAQ for Havik because he is one of my favorite characters
from the game and there is currently no FAQ for him. In this FAQ you will
find all the information about Havik, his movesets, special moves, bio and
more. Now on with the FAQ!
Note: For GC readers, if you notice something in here that seems strange, it
may be because the GC version differs slightly from PS2 in unlockable
content, and I have not been able to play the GC version to discover
any differences myself. If you see any GC incorrect information please
email me with the correct info so I can change it. Also if any combos
are incorrect please email me.
Note: XBOX controls will NOT be added, I am far to lazy to discover the
control scheme for the XBOX version, HOWEVER if someone emails me the
scheme I will gladly take the time and effort to add a XBOX section to
the FAQ. This person will be credited in the FAQ for their
contribution. I would also like to add this isn't some corny way of
getting out of doing it myself, it's only if you guys want me to put it
in the FAQ.

08/08/07 - Fixed (c) date to include 2007.

To use this costume highlight Havik in the character selection menu and press

Havik is a cleric of Chaos. His main goal is to bring Chaos to all the
realms. His enemy's would be the Seido, The Realm Of Order, because it
opposes everything that Havik believes in. Havik will stop at nothing to
bring Chaos to the realms. He has a strange appearance. His face is
squeletal and appears to be dead, but his body seems alive, or normal if you
will.

Chaos. The universe thrives on it. Forces pitted against each other in
never-ending turmoil. My kind worships entropy. We wander the realms sowing
disorder. My latest sojourn had brought me to Lei Chen, an Outworld city
imprisoned by the one known as Hotaru. For many years he had kept chaos at
bay beyond the outer walls. I would undo the order he had fought so hard to
maintain.

--|Havik's Alternate Bio|--

It was I who led the "heroes" to the location of the Dragon King. The chaos
that would ensue from their attack would be a blessing to this realm. Onaga
must never gain the upper hand in this struggle. The realms shall never cease
their struggle! Chaos will reign forever!

--|Havik's Primary Outfit|--
============================
Havik wears an open headed face plate, and his hair is in a ponytail. He has
a hood that rests on his back that he doesn't wear. He wears a black cape
that is tied on his waist, and has a sashish type cloth that cover the upper
portion of his front, with a medallion in the middle of his chest. He has
nothing that covers the lower portion of his chest so you can see his abs. He
wears blue pants with a red sash on his waste that goes around his cape, and
hangs down in the front, along with his cape that hangs down the back. He has
a piece of armor hanging on his right side, and he wears medieval armoured
boots. If you didn't notice Havik has a squeletal face with glowing white
eyes.

--|Havik's Secondary Outfit|--

His alternate outfit was originally a outfit for Noob Saibot, it then turned
into a new character, Havik which was his primary outfit, but then became his
alternate outfit. For his second outfit he is wearing the hood this time and
he has red cloth that comes over his shoulders front and back over his blue
outfit. He has a black rippled pad pn his waist held in place by a red sash.
It stills hangs down, but its wider, and not as long and has some Japanese
writing on it that means "Darkness". He has some armor on his arms, and half
gloves on his hands. He wears the same boots as before. If you still havn't
noticed, Havik has a squeletal face with glowing blue eyes.

Show's a picture of Havik ripping the Dragon King's heart out.
The others had defeated the Dragon King, but left his broken body unattended on
the floor of his throne room. Not long ago, a similar fate had fallen his
former advisor, Shao Khan. Havik ripped the still-warm heart from the carcass
and consumed it, thus absorbing Onaga's Power to reanimate the dead.
Show's a picture of Havik bringing Shao Khan back to life.
Had the Dragon King succed in his plans of total domination, the never-ending
turmoil of life would have come to a stifling halt. Those who defeated him
believe that the realms were at rest once more, but Havik vowed to restore
the Chaos that once ravaged Outworld, Shao Khan would rule again!
Is this ending true?
We won't know until the next game, but there is a good chance it could be
possible.

Havik originally started out as one of Noob Saibot's Costumes. This costume
eventually became the character Skab. Skab's name eventually changed into
Havik. Then this costume became Havik's secondary costume, and his primary
was replaced with the primary he wears now. And that's how Havik became a
character in Mortal Kombat: Deception.

Snake is Havik's default fighting style, meaning he always starts in this
style. This style was previously used by Shang Tsung in Mortal Kombat:
Deadly Alliance. Since Shang Tsung is not in this game, it was giving to
Havik. Snake consists of monstly quick jab combos, but does have some strong
piercing moves aswell.
For the fighting stance Havik has one leg forward, while leaning back on the
other leg. He has 1 hand raised up pointing forward, and one hand raised
slightly below pointing forward aswell.

Quan Chi was one of my favorite characters from MK:DA, and sadly he's not in
MK:D, but atleast Havik got one of his awesome fighting styles which is Tang
Soo Do. Tang Soo Do consists of alot of strong individual moves, and some
quick combos aswell.
For the fighting stance Havik stands sideways, with one arm bent upwards with
the hand pointing up, like an L shape. The other arm bends forward, infront
of his chest.

For Havik's weapon he uses the Morning Star, it is a big heavy mace type
weapon. So obviously, most of the attacks are slow but very powerful. This
fighting style actually has no combos involving the weapon. In this fighting
style Havik has 2 combos, but you will only ever use 1 of them. The combos
are: Triangle, Triangle... and Triangle, Triangle, Triangle... as you can see
there is no reason to do the first one, when it all happens very fast. There
are no specific combos, but you can do them nontheless.
The Morning Star is Havik's weapon. For the stance he stands sideways like
Tang Soo Do, but he has a morning star in one hand, which he holds outwards
behind him, and he keeps his other arm out infront

Havik has some of the most odd special moves you would ever see in a fighting
game. He has 6 in total and 2 of them don't even attack the opponent, they
are actually taunts that replenish some of your HP.
Chaos Axe Kick: R1
Torso Spin: D, B + 2
Diving Corpse: B, D + 2
Crackling Legs Projectile: B, F + 1
Head Snap: B, F + 3
Corpse Taunt: F, B + 4
Special Move Descriptions:
Chaos Axe Kick: This is just his grab and is not as cool as it sounds. Havik
grabs the opponent, turns him/her around kicks them in the lower back, then
does and overhead kick on them, and they bounce up a bit then fall on the
ground.
Torso Spin: Havik spins his upper torse around moving towards his opponent
with his arms extended and hits them three times.
Diving Corpse: Havik slides across the floor bashing into his opponents feet
making them fly up forwards into the air and fall onto the ground.
Crackling Legs Projectile: Havik bends his knees backwards completly, and
shoots a blue projectile at the opponents feet, then he stands back up
normally.
Head Snap: Havik basically breaks his neck. He snaps his head one way, then
snaps it back while restoring a small amount of HP
Corpse Taunt: Havik bends his body backwards breaking his back, then folds
himself upwards again while restoring a small amount of HP.

Havik pushes his opponent with one arm so they are facing him, then he rips
off their leg, and bashes their head off. He then holds the leg up into the
air in triumph, then drops it onto the floor.
2: F, F, F, B, 3 (sweep distance)
Havik screams at the screen, then eats one of his opponents arms, then he eats
the other. The opponent falls on the ground and Havik barfs out some blood.
Then he strikes a kick ass pose, then stands back to normal.

Havik places his hands on the sides of his head, twists it while ripping it
off his body. He then holds it infront of the screen as if he's showing it
to you. He then falls on the ground with his arms stretched out before him,
gushing blood everywhere from his neck.

trying to "kill" you rather then train you.
