Section 1: Version History [1VH]
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Version 0.8
Completed: Sept 24, 2004
-Started Guide
-Completed Table of Contents
-Completed Introduction/about this guide
-Completed Closing/Contact info/Legal stuff
-Began NHL roster changes (work in progress)
-Completed International Roster Changes (All World Cup teams are correct)
Version 1.0
Completed: Sept 26, 2004
-I updated the NHL rosters now that I've been able to confirm the status of
several players whose contracts/locations I was unaware of. A big thank you
to Dynamitehack91 for his NHL 2k5 guide, which had the status for several of
the players I was having problems with. Also a huge thanks to Leatherface61, who
not only referred me to DHack's guide, but also took the time to relay the
specific information I needed. You can find these updates in the NHL section,
both in the full update section, and also separated by date at the top.
-Tweaked the updating process for both the national teams, and also for getting
rid of the fictional players EA added. Check both sections for instructions on
how to use created teams to free up extra space, and to duplicate players.
Version 1.1
Completed: Oct 7, 2004
-Made some fixes on incorrect moves, and also a large number of AHL signings.
-Corrected Tim Thomas. His move to Jokerit is a lockout move, not a permenant
one.
-Added the list of NHLers who are participating in the DEL, SM-Liiga and
Elitserien during the lockout. This can be found in section 5.
-Added the list of 2004 draftees that are present in the 3 elite leagues.
-Added 2 created teams (the Quebec Nordiques and the Winnipeg Jets)
Thanks to everyone who helped me with corrections and additions for this update,
especially Kyle Abbott, for providing me with a huge list of AHL transactions.
Version 1.2
Completed: Nov 3, 2004
-A couple of NHL roster tweaks
-Some Elite League signings and transactions
-A created team courtesy of Kyle Abbott
Also, I would like to take a moment to pay my respects to Sergei Zholtok, who
sadly passed away today after a game in Belarus at the age of 31. He
was a solid NHLer, and my condolences go out to his family, friends,
teammates and fans. He will be missed.
Version 1.3
Completed: Dec 10, 2004
-Fixed some spelling errors (missed the "h" on "Pittsburgh" once, and aslo I
apologize to Kyle Abbott for misspelling his name repeatedly by having only one
"t")
-Made a few of elite league moves. All those changes are in the Elite League
section.
-Added 2 created teams (made of the players who signed lockout/2004-05 season
deals to play in the Swiss and Russian leagues respectively)
Version 1.4
Completed: Dec 29, 2004
-I hope everyone had a happy holiday season, especially in the hockey department
I know I did.
-A few elite league tweaks (it started as two departures and two arrivals in
Sweden, and has since then become the largest addition of Europe-bound players
since the initial list in version 1.1
-4 new created teams ("all-prospect" teams for the elite leagues, and a team of
young prospect/upcoming superstars on the NHL rosters.)
-fixed the description of the elite league section (I hadn't changed it from
the original description in version 1.0 when the elite league section was
incomplete)
-fixed references to players that signed with non in-game elite leagues, so that
they are consistant throughout the guide.
-One NHL/AHL transaction: Free agent J-S Aubin signed with the St. John's Maple
Leafs of the AHL. I guess you can make add him to the NHL Maple Leafs roster.
Version 1.41
Completed: December 30, 2004
-This update is being done before Version 1.4 has been accepted by GameFAQs
as a result, it's entirely likely that none of you will ever see version 1.4
by itself, instead going right from version 1.3 to 1.41.
-I tweaked the NHL "all-prospects" teams roster so that it's a litle less
powerful (I had guys in the mid to high 80s on the team, making them much
stronger than the european versions). This also led me to add a "sideboard" of
additional selectable players who are not on my core team, so that people can't
send me angry e-mails saying "OMG how did you leave ________ off the team?!?!?".
This includes players that I deemed too talented for the regular team.
-Added the jersey and logo choices for each of the "all-prospect" teams, if only
because I made some of the choices deliberately for the team (rather than just
picking something I thought looked interesting)
Version 1.5
Completed: March 19, 2005
-In what might very well be my final update to this guide, I am adding all the
NHL lockout transactions that occur between the end of December and now. There
are also a couple of Elite League-to-NHL transactions (for players coming over
to play with their NHL clubs' farm team.) this update is waaay overdue because
I've been balancing schoolwork, gaming time, and work on a guide for another
game, and haven't had a lot of time to play this game or even look at the guide.
Also, my previous incarnation of 1.5 was saved on a now-corrupted disk, and I
lost all the work I had done to that point.
-I never did add the jersey and logo choices mentioned in the 1.41 update.
ignore that, as I likely won't be adding them.
NEXT UPDATE: Honestly, there might not be a "next update" (See above.)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Section 2: Introduction/About this Guide [2IN]
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Welcome to the NHL 2005 roster update FAQ. This guide is here to allow those
without online capabilities (which includes myself) to update their game rosters
manually to be current and accurate. I can only hope that my guide can be as
useful to you as past versions (such as DynamiteHack91's guide for 2004) were
to me. Although this is only my 2nd completed FAQ (the first was a Custom Team
Mode FAQ for NHL 2004), I think I have a good enough idea of what needs to be
done in order to make this work.
The info for roster updates in version 1.0 come mostly from the transaction
records in The Hockey News, as well as news stories from a variety of online
resources (TSN.ca, Sportsnet.ca, Hockeysfuture.com, WCH04.com, etc). Subsequent
updates will draw on any of these sources as needed.
The updates are divided into the following sections:
Section 3: NHL
This section deals specifically to the additions and subtractions to the 30 NHL
clubs. This will include trades and free agent signings/releases within the NHL
circles, as well as additions to and from the game's 3 elite leagues. I should
note that in terms of additions to the elite leagues, this will only include
players who are planning on playing the whole 2004-05 season away from the NHL
(such as Peter Forsberg).
Section 4: International teams
This section corrects the World Cup rosters to reflect the final rosters
from the world cup. The biggest change from the default rosters is that I will
correct the German team's roster by adding the DEL players that participated.
Section 5: Elite Leagues
This section contains a list of the players that are particpating in the
game's 3 elite leagues during the NHL lockout. The time may come in the future
when I expand it to cover Elite League transactions, but that's a big step
that I may not have time for.
Section 6: Themed Created teams
An update on my custom team FAQ from 2004, this section will feature a variety
of teams created in the Custom Team mode that have a unifying theme to them,
such as all-region teams, alumni/classic teams, and so forth.
The final section is some closing words, my contact info and the obligatory
legal info.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Section 3: Roster Updates - NHL [3RN]
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The updates will be sorted alphabetically by team (except for the Free Agents
list, which is first), and each team will havesubsections for additions (with
team of origin in brackets) and subtractions (with destination team in brackets)
NOTE: It's entirely likely that with the immense volume of players released to
free agency during the roster updating,that you will fill up the Free Agent list
(to the point where you cannot add any additional players to it). Because of
this, I have given a few players secondary teams (mostly from the elite leagues)
listed after "Free Agent". It is up to you if you wish to move these players to
their Elite League team, or leave them on the Free Agent roster and make room
another way. Also, I would suggest that you place the retired players (marked as
such) on one of the lower-end national teams, then make a created team, and
replace the players on the created team with the retired players (fill the
custom team's roster out in the create team mode, just like normal, then make
the swap with the retired players in the "Roster Management" section. You'll
find the created teams on the NHL team lists, immediately before the Free Agents
or immediately after the All-Star teams). I suggest that you make the created
team's initial roster out of the players that are added to the NHL from the
elite leagues, and the ones that must be added to their world cup teams that way
the duplicate players on the created team will have a purpose, and won't make a
hassle.
The best way to go through this list to update your rosters is to do each team's
"Subtractions" list one by one, ignoring the "additions" list. This way, you
can always keep track of what players have been moved. If you were to make moves
according to the "additions" you would find that over time, the subtractions
list becomes incomplete (since some players have already been moved) and it gets
harder to keep everything straight.
Some players have signed on with leagues not contained in the game (not just
for the lockout,either). In that event, I will list the country and the team,
and you may do with that player what you wish.
One final warning. Within this section, any mention of countries refers strictly
to the pro hockey league of that nation, not the national program. So if a
destination reads (Russia), it means the Russian league, and you'll have to
decide for yourself how you want to relocate those players. This sounds obvious
enough, but I'd better cover my bases.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
UPDATES AND ADDITIONS: this small subsection will feature any updated
transactions from after the initial release. The purpose of this is to allow
easy correction for anyone who has updated using a previous version of the FAQ.
Players here will be listed by the team I most recently had them assigned to.
If this is your first time updating the rosters using this guide, then skip
down to the point below the last line of plus signs, as that is the "master
list", which will feature all transactions (even the updated ones), based on
the default rosters. For example, Blake Bellefeuille is defaulted to Columbus,
and a version 1.0 move had him playing for Chicago. Since then, version 1.1 has
move him to Pittsburgh. Therefore, the updates section will have both the
updates for version 1.0 (which moved him from Columbus to Chicago) and v1.1
(which moved him form Chicago to Pittsburgh), however, the master list will
cut out all the in between moves and ship him directly from Columbus to
Pittsburgh.
Version 1.0 additions:
Free Agent CHRIS SCHMIDT signs with Los Angeles
Free Agent JOHN JAKOPIN signs with Augsberg of the DEL
Free Agent DAVE KARPA signs in Russia
Free Agent SYLVAIN LEFEBVRE signs in Switzerland
Florida JEFF TOMS released to Free Agency
Philadelphia CLAUDE LAPOINTE is in the NHL's substance abuse program, and is
suspended until further notice
Also note that as a correction from version 0.8, DET Jamie Rivers DOES NOT get
released to free agency, and remains with the Red Wings. And NJ Tommy Albelin is
confirmed as retired.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Version 1.1 changes:
Free Agent SERGE PAYER signs with Florida
PAUL MANNING, added to Columbus from Hamburg (DEL) is returned to the DEL (it
turns out that Manning was already on Columbus in addition to being on Hamburg)
Free Agent CORY LAROSE signs with Atlanta
Montreal FRANCOIS BEAUCHEMIN to Columbus
Free Agent MIKE MOTTEAU signs with St. Louis
Free Agent COLIN FORBES signs with Carolina
Free Agent MATHIEU DARCHE signs with Colorado
Free Agent TRAVIS ROCHE signs with Minnesota
Toronto DRAKE BEREHOWSKY released to Free Agency
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Version 1.2 changes
Anaheim JOHAN HOLMQVIST is moved to Brynas (SEL). He signed a year long contract
there, and was never actually a member of the Ducks.
Free Agent MAGNUS ARVEDSON retires
Carolina ERIC COLE signs year long contract with Berlin (DEL) and will stay for
the whole season, regardless of the lockout.
Detroit JAMIE RIVERS signed a minor league deal with Hershey, so he may now be
property of Colorado (I can't confirm if AHL deals during the lockout still
grant NHL clubs player rights.)
Free Agent DAN LACOUTURE signs with Boston
Free Agent SERGEI ZHOLTOK passed away. You may make a move however you see fit.
NY Islanders JEFF HAMILTON signs with NY Rangers
Free Agent GORDIE DWYER signs with Carolina
++++++++++++++++
Version 1.3 changes
Ilves Tampere (SM-Liiga) JESSE NIINIMAKI signs with Edmonton
Free Agent DAN FOCHT signs with Hamilton of the AHL, so he may be Montreal
property.
++++++++++++++++
Version 1.4 changes
Free Agent JEAN-SEBASTIEN AUBIN signed a deal with St. John's of the AHL, so he
may now count for the Toronto Maple Leafs
+++++++++++++++++
Version 1.5 changes
JOAKIM LINDSTROM left MoDo (Elitserien) to play with Syracuse, the AHL
affiliate of the Columbus Blue Jackets.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
"extra players"
---------------
These are the 79 non-NHLers that EA added to the game, such as Jim Hughson, Rick
Campenelli (from MuchMusic) and various members of the EA staff. Personally,
I stuck as many of them as I could on the uninteresting international teams
(like England, France, Italy, etc) so they wouldn't interfere with the "real"
NHL rosters, then after that I traded them from the international teams to a
created team. Make sure you move them off the Free Agents list before you trade
though, otherwise you might just end up with them back on your FA list when you
start a dynasty or season. However, you may do with them as you wish. The extra
players are easy enough to recognize by their stats page. They will all have no
draft year and no career NHL games played. In order for a player to make it
into this game on the NHL side of things (this excludes the elite leagues, and
the ficticious players on some international teams), he had to be a member of
the NHLPA, which required him to have played at least one NHL game before the
rosters were finalized. This is why you never see any players of the most
recent draft class in any given NHL game (ie why Ovechkin isn't in NHL 2005)
For more on this, read my annoyed rant in the "in closing" section of the FAQ.
Section 4: Roster Updates - International Teams [4RI]
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This section shows additions and subtractions to correct the rosters for the
8 teams that compete in the World Cup of Hockey. There are some corrections
that cannot be made (Alex Ovechkin on the Russian team, for example) because the
players are not present in this game. I will list those additions, but make a
note that they are not possible. Also, some teams will not be able to make some
subtractions as well (Notably Russia, who loses two of its goalies, and cannot
replace them), I'll list those as well, and it's up to you if you want to find
a way to correct the subtraction or not.
There are some corrections that require you to pull players off of an NHL or
elite league roster (such as Scott Hannan, Henrik Lundqvist, or the vast
majority of the German team). It is possible to add these players to their WC
teams without actually removing them from their regular teams. All you have to
do is make a created team with all those players on it (it is doable, since
there are 23 players, including a trio of goalies, that need to be added, and
a created team requires you to have at least 18 skaters and 2 goalies before the
team can be used.), then go into roster management, and trade the duplicate
players from the created team to their destination national teams (you will find
the custom teams on the NHL roster list between the the all-star teams and the
free agent list. This is just two clicks of L1 away from Anaheim.)
Players with a * next to their names MUST be added via the "Roster Management"
screen. Players with no notations can be added via the "edit roster" screen that
appears when you start World Cup mode. I would, however, recommend that you move
ALL the necessary additions to their teams via a custom team and "Roster
Management", because that will save you the trouble of having to add the players
each time you play the world cup, and also it will give you accurate WC rosters
for play in exhibition mode.

Section 5: Roster Updates - Elite Leagues [5RE]
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The following is a list of NHL players who have agreed to play in the elite
leagues during the lockout.
Note: Additions after version 1.1 (initial release of lockout rosters) will
be below each league's list, and will be separated in each version by a line of
plus signs
Also note the following subtractions from these lists (for people who used the
version 1.1 lists):
JOHAN HOLMQVIST (Brynas Elitserien) signed a non-lockout deal for the entire
year. This transaction is now in the NHL section, not here.
PASI NURMINEN left Pelicans SM-Liiga
RYAN MALONE left Blues SM-Liiga
JANNE NIINIMAA left Karpat SM-Liiga
MAGNUS ARVEDSON (Farjestad Elitserien) retired
+++++++++++++++++++++
Ver 1.3 subtractions/moves
TYLER ARNASON left Brynas (Elitserien)
JOSEF BOUMEDIENNE moved from Brynas (Elitserien) to Karpat (SM-Liiga)
JANNE NIINIMAA signed with Malmo (Elitserien) after leaving Karpat(SM-Liiga)
+++++++++++++++++++++
Ver 1.4 subtractions/moves
BRYAN MCCABE left HV 71 (Elitserien)
BRIAN BOUCHER left HV 71 (Elitserien)
ERIC BOGUNIECKI left Nurenberg (DEL)
JOHN MADDEN left HIFK (SM-Liiga)
KRYS KOLANOS moves from JYP to Espoo (both SM-Liiga)
MICHAEL NYLANDER left Karpat (SM-Liiga)
MIKE COMRIE left Farjestad (Elitserien)
Reports are that JANNE NIINIMAA has switched BACK to Karpat (SM-Liiga) from
Malmo (Elitserien). I wish he'd pick a league and stay there, because this
is getting ridiculous.
JOHN-MICHAEL LILES moves from Kassel to Iserholn (both DEL)
I removed ANDREW RAYCROFT from the list (was supposed to head to Djurgarden),
simply because there was talk of him heading over and it hasn't seemed to
materialize.
++++++++++++++++++++++
Ver 1.5 subtractions/moves
MARIAN GABORIK left Farjestad (Elitserien) to return to the Slovakian league.
KRISTIAN HUSELIUS and HENRIK TALLINDER (Linkoping) were released after a legal
incident involving a woman who alleges the players sexually assaulted her.
OLLI JOKINEN left Sodertalje to return to HIFK in Finland, where he started
the season.
BRYAN MUIR moved from MoDo (Elitserien) to Blues (SM-Liiga)
JANNE NIINIMAA's move to Karpat is confirmed. Niinima has appeared in each
and every one of these update sections.
TOMMY SALO retired
KIMMO TIMONEN moved from Brynas to KaiPa in Finland. KaiPa is not in this game.
Section 6: Themed Custom Teams [6CT]
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
1) Winnipeg Jets
Theme: This team represents the last year of the Winnepeg Jets in 1995-96.
Since there are not enough players in the game from that specific Jets team,
this roster also includes players from the 1994-95 Jets roster, and from the
1996-97 Coyotes Roster in order to fill it out.

Anders Myrvold (Free Agent)
3) Halifax Hurricanes (Submitted by Kyle Abbott)
Theme: This team is made of players from the atlantic provinces of Canada.
Unfortunately, there are no atlantic born goalies in the game, so Byron Dafoe,
of British origin, is a sort of "fill-in" starter, and you'll have to choose
a back-up on your own.

4) Davos Swiss Stars
Theme: This team is made of players that have agreed to play in the Swiss
Elite League during the NHL lockout, or for the entire 2004-05 season. Some

Rob Zamuner (Free Agent)
Julian Vauclair (Ottawa)

Paul Martin (New Jersey)
5) Moscow Red Army
Theme: This team is made of players who have signed lockout deals to play in
the Russian Super League. There are more than 40 players signed to RSL deals
as listed on Eurohockey.net, so I've done my best to pick out a team that is
fairly balnced across positions and will be fun to play.
Some players may have moved from the league after the point that this roster was
created. I will not be keeping track of those moves here.

6) Helsinki Ravens
Theme: This is the Finnish "all-prospect" team. It is made of players that
have been drafted by NHL clubs, and are still developing in SM-Liiga in
Finland. This does not include players that have played in the NHL or AHL
after being drafted, and have since returned to SM-Liiga for the lockout.
Make sure that when you create this team, that you set their arena as
Hartwall Areena, the actual Finnish venue from the World Cup that is located
in Helsinki. Sure it won't make a difference because the real arena name
isn't used, but accuracy has to count for something. The prospect list
is pulled from an old article that was posted on Hockeysfuture.com about
Finnish prospects. Plus, for kicks I threw in Pierre-Claude Drouin, not a
prospect by any stretch, but he recently competed on the CBC produced
hockey reality show "Making the Cut". He didn't come even close to the final
set of players, but hey, none of them can say they're in a video game... well,
that and the fact that I could only find 3 centers out of all the players
on the prospect list, and I didn't want to have to bring Jesse Niinimaki
into this since he's playing in Edmonton (AHL) right now.
Also of note is that I felt that I should have all teams evenly represented,
so I limited selections to no more than two skaters per NHL teams. extra
prospects from each team were allowed in the case of goalies

7) Stockholm Warriors
Theme: the Elitserien "all-prospect" team. This team has players that are
NHL prospects playing in the Elitserien this season. The list of players is
courtsey Eliteprospects.com.
Players that have participated in leagues outside of Europe (NHL, AHL, etc) are
not eligible regardless of whether the league was professional or amateur.
Players older than 25 are also not eligible. As with the Finnish team, I am
limited the number of forward/defence prospects to two per team so that I can
take from as many teams as possible. Decisions on which two prospects make it
depend on the needs of the custom team's roster. Regardless, this team still
managed to be packed with centers and very few wingers, to the point that I
started excluding available prospects simply because I didn't need to have
yet another center on the roster (so long as the team was represented in by
at least one other prospect)

8) Landshut Demons
Theme: The German version of the "all-prospect" team was a little more difficult
to put together, since there are so few actual NHL prospects in the DEL right
now. Thus, I have made a team of the best young DEL players according to some
sources at HockeysFuture.com. This team will also include (where applicable)
members of Germany's World Junior Championships team that is participating
this holiday season in Grand Forks, North Dakota. For kicks I also included
Francois Fortier and George Zajankala. These two players also competed in CBC's
"Making the Cut". Neither is a prospect, but Fortier led the MTC "camp" in
scoring, and was one of the last cuts.
Roster:
-------
Kai Hospelt (Koln) - Drafted by San Jose. WJC team member
Markus Kink (Koln) - went undrafted last year, highly regarded in German circles
Edward Lewandowski (Koln) - Drafted by Phoenix.

Mirko Ludemann (Koln) - well over-age for the draft, but considered NHL-ready.

Robert Muller (Krefeld) - Drafted by Washington. Played backup at World Cup

9) Capital City YoungStars
Theme: This is the NHL's "all-prospect" team, meant to serve as a counterpoint
to the three Elite League versions. players were only eligible for this team
if they were on their club's roster in the game (including players that moved
to the team as part of a REAL transaction, like Jesse Niinimaki or Mikko Koivu,
but not players that I moved over by my own choice, like Alexander Steen.)
The team was limited to no more than two players per NHL team, and each of the
30 NHL clubs had to be represented by at least one player.
Included below the roster is a "sideboard" of eligible players that did not make
my initial team, usually due to the depth at their position, and the presence of
another prospect for the same NHL team that plays a position that is less
crowded.
Players are declared inleligible if they have "graduated" according to the
criteria of Hockeysfuture.com, with exceptions going to a small minority of
players that were needed on the team to represent their NHL clubs (those players
are noted with a star next to their name on the roster). Players that do not
appear on the Hockey's Future lists at all (even in the graduated category) are
not eligible under any circumstances. The list of ineligible players is too long
to write out here, but if you find an established NHL youngster missing, chances
are it's because he's graduated according to HF, or that he's just too good for
the team.
IF YOU DO WANT TO E-MAIL ME ABOUT A POSSIBLE PROSPECT, PLEASE CHECK THE HOCKEY'S
FUTURE WEBSITE TO SEE IF THE PLAYER IS LISTED AS A PROSPECT FOR THEIR CLUB

Section 7: In Closing/Contact info/Legal stuff
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Well, this is the end of the guide. I hope this has helped you update your
rosters. I will admit that this guide took significantly longer to write than
my previous one (this was close to 10 hours of work compared to about 4 to
gather info and produce my Custom Team guide for NHL 2004.), but it should be
smooth sailing for a while, as teams won't change their rosters as long as the
lockout is in effect. The only changes that are likely to be made in the near
future are corrections and additions of missing info.
One of the things that took the longest to do during the update process was
finding and removing all the players EA added to the free agent listing. I know
that EA may have some egotistical need to put themselves and their buddies into
the game, but come on, did they have to use the free agent list? They should
know by now that one of the biggest requests gamers have for sports games is
realism. How realistic is it to have some game developers pop up in the middle
of a dynasty? I really think that if EA wants to include themselves in the next
game, they should either make it a hidden option (something that can be unlocked
and turned off and on), or they should put themselves on a separate roster so it
doesn't interfere with season or dynasty play.
