Welcome to my FAQ on Asuka Kazama. I hope you will find this very useful and if

But to be quite honest. Xiaoyu is miles better than Asuka anyday. if you don't
agree with this then tough because I do. That probably explains why I don't
bother making a front cover for this Asuka character, Yaaahahahaha!!!

But, I still like Asuka as my 2nd back-up!!!

Okay, thats the moves list now for the properties of some.......

*1 Continue with White Heron combos.

Hold f+3 or 3 after 1,2 to spin for a second time for 40 damage. Hold
longer for unblockable damage of 50

Destabilizer can't be escaped, ducked or blocked, also gives frame advantage

Falling Rain is a juggle throw. Can be tech rolled to reduce damage.

3.Asuka's Combo System
______________________________________________________________________________

Asuka's combos are pretty much more advanced then any other character in the
game. You can make combos from 4 hits to 8 hits and even 12 hits or more. It
is also possible to carry on combos without ending them.

This section will explain her system that I have created. The Asuka Combo
System.

White Heron can be linked up to 4,d+4 or 1. After 1 you can carry on with 
moves after jab such as 1,2,3 or 1,1,4

Whiplash Combo can be linked up to 4,d+4 or 3. After 3 you can carry on with
moves after jab such as 1,2,3 or 1,1,4

Leg Cutter can be linked up to 3 or 1+4,2. After 1+4,2 you can carry on with
moves after White Heron such as 4,d+4 or 1

Moves like b+3,1 or b+2 can be continued with Leg Cutter (4)

Moves like b+2 or 1 can be continued with Whiplash Combo (1)

Okay, that's the most I can explain. if you find more then that is good. Take
advantage of the lengthy combos and fool them with the cancels for 1,2,3 and
b+3,2.

4.The Technical Ability of Asuka
______________________________________________________________________________

Ever since I finally got to try out Asuka, I found her to be quite interesting
in nearly everything. I'll explain the bits...

db+1+2: Destabilizer is a throw that sets up for all sorts of moves. You don't
have to be limited to using 1 combos all the time. Sometimes you can get a
good 3~4 after sidestepping a normal jab. Remember, this throw does bring the
opponent closer for moves like db+2 and 3~4.

[note: Destabilizer does damage sometimes when the opponent is about to do 
his/her move and you do the grab just in time. I think damage is 2.]

FC,df,d,df+1+2: Falling Rain is a juggle throw that can give more juggling
skill for moves like 3+4 and f+4. One juggle that people use is 3+4-df+2 when
they have them in the air. Maybe because it takes 45 damage just like the 
throw by itself. The difference is by itself the falling opponent can tech
roll to reduce to 30 damage instead, so many times people juggle from it.

f+3 hold: Spinning Heel Drop is a good advance move that has many tricks to.
You can hold it for a second spin or a third spin. The third spin results in
the move to be an unblockable. It can also be cancelled by tapping b on any
amount of spins and most people don't expect it, so attacking oppotunity is
pretty big.

1,2,3: Blossom Rush to Spinning Heel Drop is another way of getting the so
called Spinning Heel Drop on except it's done in a combo. However, it can be
countered easily but with the cancels and delays, it becomes tricky too.

df+1+2: Raging Storm is a pretty slow move but with a twist. it parries all
low attacks and dodges barely high (and middle) attacks. Some people attempt
this on opponents who do lots of low kick recovery moves so basically it's a
move thats meant to parry those cheesy low players.

2+3: Wheel Kick is pretty much like Raging Storm but is little quicker and
parries all high and middle punches. Very useful against Steve players but
not too useful against Hwoarang and Baek players. It also hits high so it 
can be ducked.

uf+4: Night Sky is a nice launcher kick that can set up for any rushing in
moves like f+2. Although most players go for f+1+2 for bigger damage. this 
move can also be defensive as in ub+4 or in the spot like u+4. You control 
the direction.

3~4: Sacred Blade is a sweep that can knock away rushing players. it also
avoids high attacks but unfortunately it's distance isn't too great. But 
then again, that explains why she has db+1+2.

Customisations
______________________________________________________________________________

Customising Asuka is going to be a hard thing to do mainly because of all
the money you would need to earn just to get some of her items and colors. So
imagine what it's like getting all of the item and colors. But once you have
earned money for her you get the choice of buying any of her twenty items and
her availible colors. For white and black would be 18.000g whilst the other
colors are 8.000g.
