Welcome, Lego builders and Star Wars fanatics. At last, there is a game that
unites your two passions into one cohesive whole: LEGO Star Wars. And hey, now
there's even a sequel! And it covers the trilogy that, you know, doesn't suck!
Hey now, okay, the prequel trilogy has its moments, but Episodes IV, V, and VI
hold a special place in the hearts and minds of generations. And now, thanks
to the success of the first game, they get the full Lego Star Wars treatment,
which re-imagines the story with a little bit more irreverent comedy and charm,
and a whole lot less dialogue.
In this body of work, I have strived to provide you with a complete guide to
all of the fun that the game has to offer, from complete, detailed walkthroughs
of every chapter in both Story and Free Play mode that include finding all
available Studs, information on finding every Minikit Canister, Gold Brick, and
Power Brick, full details on every character, vehicle, extra, and anything else
that I could think of. Note that one thing I will NOT give you is the codes to
unlock characters and extras in the game. Instead, I'll do you one better:
I'll give you the information you need to obtain these bonuses on your own.
Codes won't give you anything that cannot be obtained through more wholly
legitimate means, and using the latter provides much greater satisfaction than
simply inputting a cheat. One exception to this is a couple of extra special
codes that unlock bonuses not otherwise attainable in normal play - see the
bottom of this guide for those.
If you're simply trying to get through the game, you can just use the Story
mode walkthroughs provided. If, on the other hand, you're trying to experience
everything that the game has to offer, then you'll want to fully explore each
chapter in both Story mode and Free Play mode to collect all of the Studs
required to achieve True Jedi status in each, then play the Bounty Hunter
missions and unlock the secret of LEGO city, all the while naturally unlocking
all of the characters and vehicles to add more variety to your game. Whatever
you want to do, whenever you need some help, check the table of contents above
and find the section related to your current efforts.
This guide was produced using the Playstation 2 version of the game, but the
versions for Gamecube, Xbox, Xbox 360, and PC are virtually identical except
for their control schemes, so this guide should be useful to players using any
of those platforms. The versions of the game for PSP and Nintendo DS, however,
differ significantly, so this guide is not applicable to those.
VERSION UPDATES:
1.1 - Made a few minor additions and corrections after feedback from readers.
1.2 - Added secret bonus codes and a couple minor additions to the walkthrough.
1.3 - Added a couple of reader-sent tips.
1.4 - Fixed some typos and added some tiny bits of information, the most useful
being a way for overcoming a bug at the end of Episode VI, Chapter Two.
1.5 - Added more info on the 'Extra Toggle' characters, a couple of reader-
provided tips added.

----------
Overview
----------
In Lego Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy, you will play through sections of
the first Star Wars movies. Each film is divided into six chapters, with cut-
scenes filling in the story in between. As you progress through the game, in
addition to simply playing out the story, you will also be collecting Gold
Bricks to unlock additional bonus levels and other goodies. These can be
obtained by completing chapters, achieving True Jedi status in each (by
collecting a specific number of Lego Studs, the currency of the game),
collecting the Minikit Canisters hidden in each chapter, and by other means.
As you progress, you will unlock more and more characters and vehicles from the
Star Wars universe with which to play, and lots of other fun goodies to broaden
your gameplay experience.
~ Mos Eisley Cantina ~
This is the hub of the game, the central point that will be your launching pad
for all of your adventures. In the Cantina, you can enter unlocked chapters to
play out the stories of the Star Wars saga, wander around and interact with any
unlocked characters and other local denizens, check out the Lego Star Wars
vehicles that you've built by collecting Minikit Canisters, and grab some extra
Lego Studs stashed away around the place.
At the Bar, in the center of the Cantina, you have several shopping options.
Here, you can view and purchase game hints (though they're very basic and can
often be found in the game manual), purchase unlocked characters and vehicles
for use in Free Play mode, purchase Extras (fun options that can mostly
impractically enhance your game experience, see the appropriate section further
down in this guide), input cheat codes (not recommended, just do things
yourself!), buy some Gold Bricks, and view cut-scenes from story chapters that
you've completed.
To the right of the Bar, you can find two bacta tanks (those fluid-filled
healing pods seen in the movies, such as where Luke healed after nearly
freezing to death on Hoth). In these, you can create two characters built out
of mixed-and-matched Lego body parts. These characters can be brought into
Free Play mode. Depending on the combination of parts, they can have various
character abilities. More customizable body parts will be unlocked as you
progress through the game.
~ Story mode ~
Here, you will act out the saga of the Star Wars films. In Story chapters, you
are restricted to the characters appropriate to that chapter. Though your
primary purpose is to simply complete the chapter, you will also be trying to
obtain True Jedi status by collecting a set number of Lego Studs. After
completing a chapter in Story mode, new story characters may be unlocked for
use in Free Play mode. Most enemy characters encountered in the chapter will
also become unlocked and will now be available for purchase at the Cantina Bar.
But perhaps most importantly, the next chapter in the current movie episode
will also be unlocked, so that you can continue the story.
After completing the first chapter of Episode IV, the first chapters of
Episodes V and VI will also be unlocked, so you don't have to play through all
three films in perfect order if you don't care to do so.
~ Free Play mode ~
In Free Play, you will revisit previously completed chapters with a new stock
of characters, sporting additional character abilities not available to you in
Story mode. In this way, you will be able to go more places, do more and
collect more Studs and other bonuses, and all without those pesky cut-scenes
that slowed you down the first time around. You will need to achieve True Jedi
status separately in Free Play mode for each chapter, and the Lego Stud
requirements are increased. Two other major goals in Free Play mode are to
locate all ten Minikit Canisters in each chapter, and to locate the super-
secret red Power Bricks, one per chapter.
Completing Free Play chapters 100% will almost always require that you have
characters with the following abilities: grappling, Force, Dark Force, Thermal
Detonators, vent crawling, and double-jumping, and you will need to have both a
Bounty Hunter and a Stormtrooper-type character with you. The first time that
you will have all of these skills and character classes available is after
completing Episode IV, Chapter Three. At this point, you will need to purchase
a Jawa, a Stormtrooper, and Greedo, and create a customized character that
carries a red lightsaber (so that he can use Dark Force), and just to be safe,
give him a Stormtrooper helmet too. When entering Free Play, choose that
customized character as your lead character, and the game will select the other
required character types automatically.
~ Bonus stages ~
For each of the three episodes, there are three bonus stages to be unlocked.
'Super Story' is unlocked automatically on completing all chapters within an
episode. In this mode, you will play through the entire episode, complete with
cut-scenes and chapter text intros. Your goal is complete it all in as little
time as possible. Two high-scores will be recorded: your best time, and your
best Stud total.
'Character Bonus' levels are mini-stages where you must collect one million
Studs on foot in as little time as possible. Studs in these stages are
plentiful, and include the 10,000-point Purple Studs to assist in this goal.
'Minikit Bonus' levels are similar to the character bonus levels, except that
you will be driving around vehicles instead. Any of the vehicles constructed
by finding all ten Minikit Canisters in a given chapter will be available for
you to use, including those from the first Lego Star Wars game if you have a
save file for it on the memory card that you are using for this game (this is
true even without using the 'Use Old Save' purchasable extra). In order to
access these stages, you must have completed at least one Minikit vehicle in
Lego Star Wars II (and you'd better hope that its a fast one!)
-------------
Life Hearts
-------------
Each player-controlled character has four life hearts. Each time they take a
hit from an enemy attacks, one heart is lost (except for a very few special
attacks that cause double damage). You can replenish lost hearts by picking up
hearts dropped by defeated enemies and by destroying parts of the environment.
If you lose all of your hearts, then you die. You can also die instantly by
falling into an area without a floor below, or by coming into contact with
certain potent environmental hazards. But don't fret! You'll simply re-spawn
at the same point in a moment. However, death is not completely without
penalty. While playing any chapter in Story or Free Play mode, you will lose
some Studs - 4,000 if you die by getting hit until your hearts run out, or
2,000 if you die by falling into the abyss (note that these amounts are halved
after a few deaths if you are playing with the extra option "Adaptive
Difficulty" turned on). These Studs will be scattered around the point of your
death, and when you respawn you may be able to re-collect some or all of them
if you act quickly.
------------
Lego Studs
------------
Throughout the game, you will be collecting Lego Studs, the currency of the
Lego Star Wars universe. These come in three main colours: Grey Studs (worth
10 each), Yellow Studs (worth 100 each), and Blue Studs (worth 1,000 each). In
two of the types of bonus levels, Character Bonus and Minikit Bonus, there are
also Purple Studs, worth 10,000 each, but the Studs collected in these areas
are not counted towards your total score.
Studs can be spent on a number of things at the Cantina Bar. You can purchase
unlocked enemy characters and vehicles, extras, Gold Bricks, and hints.
---------------------
Changing Characters
---------------------
Different characters sport a variety of different abilities, and you will often
need to switch between characters to be able to advance. In the Cantina, you
can take control of any character that you have unlocked. Face the character
you wish to control and press [Triangle] to take them over. This must occur
within a reasonably short distance. The new character's icon will appear in
your HUD, and their name will be displayed briefly below the icon. In Story
mode, you are limited to using the characters that are part of your party at
any given time. In Free Play mode, you can switch between any of the
characters that you brought with you by scrolling through them using the L1,
L2, R1 and R2 buttons; You can also switch control to your partner by pressing
[Triangle].
--------
Combat
--------
Try as you might, conflict is unavoidable when you're dealing with an all-
powerful evil Galactic Empire, so you'd best be prepared. You have two main
offensive weapons at your disposal: Blasters and Lightsabers. The former have
the advantage of distance, while the latter win out in sheer pizzazz.
Blaster fighting is pretty simple, due to the game's auto-targeting system.
Basically, fire in the general direction of your target, and your shot will fly
true. Of course, if it's a moving target, it may move out of the line of fire,
and because of the auto-targeting, what the game thinks you wanted to shoot and
what you actually wanted to may not always gel. You can discourage this by
pushing the Left stick as accurately as you can in the direction that you
actually want to shoot; this rule applies equally to animate and inanimate
targets. Now, your targets will also likely be firing back at you too, and a
blaster in itself offers no defensive abilities. So when using a blaster, you
also need to watch for incoming fire and move around accordingly to avoid it.
Fortunately, some blaster-slinging characters can dodge incoming shots by
pressing [Square] just before the shot hits. Of course, you want to find out
if your character has this ability before you try it out in a life-or-death
situation. Most blaster users also possess a melee attack, automatically used
when close to a strikable target (which unfortunately often includes your
allies).
Lightsaber wielders prefer to get up-close and personal. They also have combo
attacks to strike multiple nearby targets in rapid succession, or the same
target more than once, if it is of a type that requires more than one hit to
kill. Lightsaber users can also leap out to mid-range target with a jump
attack, and can also eliminate multiple targets with a double-jump ground slam
attack. As for defense, Lightsaber users can defend against incoming blaster
shots by holding down the attack button. And to turn defense into a good
offense, they can reflect incoming blaster fire back at the shooters by
pressing [Square] just before the shot hits.
However you're fighting, be sure to keep an eye on your heart meter. Watch for
hearts dropped by defeated enemies and grab them as needed, but don't leave
yourself overly vulnerable as you do so.
-------------------
Special Abilities
-------------------
Different character classes can perform special actions. Many of these are
required to advance past various points throughout the game.
DOUBLE-JUMP: Lightsaber wielders, by virtue of their mastery of the Force, can
perform these acrobatic leaps to reach otherwise unattainable
heights.
FORCE: Jedis can manipulate certain objects marked by glowing blue sparkles, to
open, move, reassemble, or blow them up.
GRAPPLE: All blaster users can fire a grappling hook and zip up the line to
reach a distant point, starting from red grapple points on the ground.
DIVE-ROLL: This skill won't let you reach any new places, but it's fun to do.
Only certain blaster-using characters can do this.
DROID LOCKS: Some are designed for Protocol Droids (such as C-3PO), others for
Astromech Droids (like R2-D2). All require that the appropriate
Droid type stand in front of it and operate it to gain access to
the adjacent door or other device.
STORMTROOPER/BOUNTY HUNTER CHECKPOINTS: These remote cameras require that a
character of the appropriate type stand in the white or green
circle and wave hello to gain entry to the adjacent door. Any
character wearing a helmet of the required type will also be
granted access, regardless of whether they're the real deal or
not.
VENT CRAWL: Small characters can pass through special vent access ports to
reach otherwise inaccessible areas.
HOVER/FLIGHT: Using thrust power to float above the ground, characters with
this ability can cross large gaps in the terrain that any other
character would plunge to their doom in.
THERMAL DETONATORS: Only Bounty Hunters carry these deadly explosives, thrown
by pressing [O]. The ensuing blast will damage any nearby
destructible objects or characters, either enemy or
friendly (including yourself). Using these bombs is the
only way to destroy shiny metallic objects throughout the
game.
DARK FORCE: Only the evil Sith (or any character with a red lightsaber, to be
precise) can use the twisted dark side of the Force on certain dark
objects scattered throughout the game. Dark Force can also be used
anywhere that regular, good-guy Force can be used.
---------
Pickups
---------
As you move through the game's chapters, in either Story of Free Play mode,
there are several things to watch out for so that you can add them to your
inventory:
LEGO STUDS: The currency of Lego Star Wars, these little round buds will, in
sufficient quantity, allow you to purchase unlocked enemy
characters and vehicles, extra Gold Bricks, and fun Extras. Your
sum of Lego Studs in your possession after successfully completing
any particular chapter will be added to your running total for use
in Mos Eisley Cantina. Grey Studs = 10, Yellow Studs = 100,
Blue Studs = 1,000. Character and Minikit Bonus levels also
provide Purple Studs = 10,000.
HEALTH HEARTS: Valuable only when you've lost one or more of your own. These
are often dropped by defeated enemies and released by destroying
pieces of the environment.
MINIKIT CANISTERS: There are ten such canisters in every chapter, most of which
can only be obtained in Free Play mode. Each contains Lego
pieces to build a Lego Star Wars vehicle. Once you've
collected all ten in a particular chapter, the vehicle will
be complete and you will receive a 50,000 Lego Stud bonus
(after then finishing the chapter, of course). Both
complete and in-progress vehicles can be viewed outside Mos
Eisley Cantina. Completed Minikit vehicles can then be used
in each episode's Minikit Bonus stage.
POWER BRICKS: These generally well-hidden large red Lego bricks are limited to
one per Chapter. Finding one, then finishing the chapter, will
unlock a particular Extra for purchase at the Cantina Bar.

4X) MOS EISLEY CANTINA
~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~
The Cantina serves as the home base for the entire game. Here, you can walk
around to take in the sights, check out the local denizens, interact with or
take over any unlocked character that happens to be walking around, start a
brawl, or check out the Lego Star Wars vehicles that you have unlocked by
finding Lego Mini-Kit Canisters in each chapter during gameplay.
But more importantly, at the Cantina's bar you can also unlock additional
characters for use in Free Play mode, purchase Extras (little bonuses that
don't really add anything practical to the game, but can infuse some goofy fun
into it), read gameplay hints (which are all essentially useless, since all of
the info is found in the game manual or in the 'Hints' section of this guide,
you're welcome), or enter cheat codes (if that's the way you play, which I
would never ever recommend). New characters will be available for purchase
after each newly completed chapter in Story mode. See the sections of this
guide following the walkthrough for full details on all of these features.
And last but certainly not least, the Cantina is just chock full of extra Lego
Studs, the valuable currency of this game. Ripe for the taking, it's up to you
whether or not to spend some time harvesting this bounty, since it can take
some time and get dull after a short while. Nevertheless, in the interests of
perfection, I will provide you with a list of all sources of Studs to be found
inside and outside the Cantina. Please note that you are not limited to jest
the grungy indoors of the Cantina! There is a thriving outdoor patio/parking
lot/hangout that can be accessed through any of several doors around the rim of
the Cantina. Out here you will find more Lego Studs, more characters, and any
vehicles (either in-progress or completed) that you have built using found
Mini-Kit Canisters.
-------------------
Cantina - Indoors
-------------------
The Cantina is basically square, though it appears more round as you move
around it and the camera swings to follow you. Along one side is the bar, with
the Bacta Tanks containing your customizable characters to its right. Going
around clockwise from there, you get the Episode IV hub, the entrance to the
Bounty Hunter bar (see section 5 in this guide for details), the Episode V hub,
the Episode VI hub, and then you find yourself back at the bar. In between
these areas, there are also multiple doors leading outside, identified by
downward arrows over top.
There are two sources of Studs inside the Cantina. First, the chairs by the
round tables can all be destroyed by blaster, lightsaber or Thermal Detonator.
There are also lamps mounted on the walls all around that can be manipulated
using the Force to release their Studs. Both chairs and lamps will each yield
200 points worth of Studs. It's not a lot, even with 47 chairs and 22 lamps,
you could only earn 16,800 Studs on each pass, and the time involved would be
better spent replaying a high-Stud chapter instead.
Approximate Total Studs: 16,800
--------------------
Cantina - Outdoors
--------------------
Outside, you can enjoy some sunshine and check out any Minikit Vehicles that
you've been building, both complete and incomplete, by gathering the Minikit
Canisters in each chapter. There is also a lot more fun stuff to destroy and
earn some Studs. The small garbage cans need to be hit once, while the large
garbage cans take two hits to fully destroy. There are several shiny metal
devices to be blown up with Thermal Detonators once you have a Bounty Hunter,
and there are a few pieces of Lego debris that yield some Studs as well. All
in all you can get approximately 27,300 Studs outside the Cantina, and
collecting them goes much more quickly than indoors.
Approximate Total Studs: 27,300
Also please note that each time that you return to the Cantina after entering a
chapter (either for the first time or on a repeat visit, and you don't even
have to finish the chapter), all of these objects will have regenerated or
refilled, creating an endless supply of cash if you want to take the time to
collect it.

It is a period of civil war. Rebel spaceships,
striking from a hidden base, have won their
first victory against the evil Galactic Empire.
During the battle, Rebel spies managed to steal
secret plans to the Empire's ultimate weapon,
the Death Star, an armored space station with
enough power to destroy an entire planet.
Pursued by the Empire's sinister agents,
Princess Leia races home aboard her starship,
custodian of the stolen plans that can save her
people and restore freedom to the galaxy...

~~ Starting room ~~
The two starting characters, Princess Leia and Captain Antilles, are virtually
interchangeable, though Leia also has her slap melee attack and can dodge
blaster shots, so overall she is a slightly more useful character. Blast the
six grey Lego structures around the room for some Studs, and also pick up the
loose Studs on either side of the room. Pull the lever on the left side of the
room for a single Stud and a Heart. You can pull the lever as many times as
you like, receiving one Stud each time, but this is a rather tiresome way to
make money and isn't worth the effort. Hold the [O] button in front of each of
the jiggling piles of Lego blocks in front of the control panel to reassemble
the door controls. Once both sides are done, the blast door ahead will open.
In the short hallway just ahead, there are two more of those grey Lego
structures that you can blast for some Studs. You can also shoot the walls
that have flashing lights on them. Each of these wall sections is actually
composed of two parts, lower and upper, so be sure to also jump up and shoot
the upper sections to receive all possible Studs. Walk up to the next door and
pull the lever on either side. Your partner will automatically pull the other
one. Proceed into the next hallway.
Turn right and run towards the treasure you see through the doorway ahead...
denied! Oh well. You can still shoot the wall panels in here as well. On the
right side, one of these reveals a hat-applying machine that only Leia can use
effectively. There are several hats to try out, if you care for that sort of
thing. Walk up to your rebel friends and watch as the door ahead is
disintegated and Stormtroopers pour out. There are three waves of
Stormtroopers to defeat. With them all gone, the rebels will run ahead. Take
a moment to keep blasting away the wall panels, and the grey Lego structure
beside the door with the Protocol Droid Lock on the left side. In addition to
Studs, you'll also receive Hearts to refill your meter if you took any hits
from the Stormtroopers. When you've got all of the available Studs, head
through the door at the end of the hall.
Approximate Total Lego Studs: 24,000
~~ Grapple room ~~
Walk left to the first grapple point and press [O] to fly up to the walkway.
Cross to the far end and do it again. Construct the two gear machines on
either side of the retracting walkway to stretch it out across the top of the
room. Head down this walkway to reach the next hallway.
~~ Upper decks ~~
You see Darth Vader in the distance. If you try to move too close to him,
you'll be pushed back with a dose of Dark Force. Instead, pull the levers on
either side of the hallway. These will deposit generators on either side of
Vader at the end of the hall. From your end, shoot one or both of these
generators several times to light them up and then blow them up. This will
stun Vader and he'll run away. Of course, while you're doing this, pairs of
Stormtroopers will periodically come out to defend their Master, so blast them
away as soon as they appear, then get back to work. They'll stop coming once
Vader is gone. Run up and collect the two Blue Studs from the end of the
hallway. Also blast the grey Lego structure on the left side of the hallway
for some more Studs. Continue onward.
In the next segment, there are again more grey Lego structures and wall
segments to blast away, so go to town. The right-most Lego structure, nearest
the Bounty Hunter-only door, will also reveal a small block with a purple
design on it. This is 1 of 3 to be found in this chapter. If you uncover all
of them, a Minikit Canister will be revealed somewhere.
In the next room, the rebels will again be taking position to fend off more
Stormtroopers. Join them and blast the first group, then follow them up to the
next point and kill some more of those nasty bad guys. With the coast now
clear, go back through the room and blast more wall segments and grey Lego
thingies. You'll hit True Jedi status in here if you haven't been dying an
excessive number of times up to this point. Be sure to go after any Blue Studs
that go flying over your head. At the intersection behind the waiting rebels,
there is a pair of levers on either side to be pulled. Your partner will help
you out with those. The left one reveals a small flower garden, and gives you
Studs. The right one opens a window to an amusing little scene. Also in this
intersection, there is a row of lights on the ground on each side that lights
up green as you walk over it. Run straight up the entier row to turn them all
green at once (including the solitary light just past the longer row) to
release some Studs overhead. Repeat for the other side. Continue past the
rebels and through the next door.
Approximate Total Lego Studs: 70,000
~~ Cargo hold ~~
In here, you can blast the short fence segments along the bottom edge of the
room to receive lots of Studs. Also be sure to get the Blue Stud in the bottom
right corner. Blast the three small grey Lego structures too. Now, on the
left checkered track on the floor, push the box with the yellow and black hatch
marks forward until it drops into the floor panel with the flashing red lights.
This releases some Studs for you to collect. Do the same with the other box to
the right, though you have to push it ahead and to the right to reach the floor
panel. Quickly pull out your Blaster now, because the door lowers and some
Stormtroopers come out firing! Destroy them, then walk into the hallway they
were guarding. Take control of C-3PO and have him interact with the Protocol
Droid Lock on the right side of the red energy barrier. This triggers a
classic Star Wars cut-scene, though with a bit of an irreverant take.
Now, for a bit of a lark, take C-3PO back with you all the way through the ship
to the first hallway of this stage. There's a Protocol Droid Lock on the left
side that he can open there. Inside, you find a very long room... sort of.
Anyway, blast both grey Lego structures for a handful of more Studs, then
return to where you first picked up the droids. In the room with the grapple
points, R2-D2 can operate an Astromech Droid Lock to start an elevator that can
take him and C-3PO up to the top walkway. Alternately, you can just have
Captain Antilles run ahead, and the Droids will automatically appear with him
once you enter a new section.
At the end of the hall where you picked up the Droids, have R2-D2 operate the
Astromech Droid Lock on the right side. Make sure that you collected the Studs
from the sides of the hallway here and there before proceeding.
~~ Crane room ~~
In here, a rebel ally is fending off a pair of Stormtroopers. Try to shoot
them if you want to, but you can't auto-target them, so good luck hitting them!
Instead, have Captain Antilles walk up to the crate (that orange-armed device
in the middle of the floor) and press [Triangle] to operate it. Watch the
shadow of the crane and move it over one of the Stormtroopers, then press
[Square] to lower the crane and pick him up. Move the crane over the abyss
behind the edge of the floor where the fight is raging on, and press [Square]
again to drop him in. Repeat for the other Stormtrooper, and the Rebel Friend
will lower a bridge for you to cross over to his floor. He'll also join your
party! Before you cross the bridge, jump back into the crane controller and
use it to pick up C-3PO. Move the crane to in front of the doorway at the far
end of the room and drop him there. Before crossing over to join him, make
sure to blast all of the grey Lego structures, and the fence segments. Just
don't move too far down while collecting Studs of you'll fall into the abyss at
the bottom of the screen! To reach C-3PO, the rebels have to jump, or you can
switch to R2-D2 and hover across the gap if you're not confident in your
jumping abilities at this point. Have C-3PO open the Protocol Droid Lock.
Approximate Total Lego Studs: 100,000
~~ Final Hallway ~~
There are several waves of Stormtroopers to blast through here. Just keep
moving up with the rebels and shoot them all, and blast the wall segments on
the left side to receive some Hearts as needed. One of the lower wall segments
also yields the bonus '2 of 3' to go with the block you uncovered much earlier
in this chapter. Watch out for the Imperial Shuttle Pilots that accompany the
Stormtroopers, as they require two shots to defeat. Be careful as you approach
the end of the grated floor, as there is a gap that you could fall into. Build
the Lego bridge at the edge, and make sure that you blasted the grey Lego
structures in the hall behind you before proceeding across, where you can blast
some more of them.
Head through the hall behind the rebels' final position. There are more grey
Lego structures to destroy, including one tucked behind the shiny metallic
cylinders. Build another Lego bridge, cross it and shoot the final grey Lego
structure at the end of the hall on the right side. This reveals an Astromech
Droid Lock, so have R2-D2 open it. Shoot the, uh, Stormtroopers inside before
they notice you, and jump up to the far end of the pod to pull the lever. Now
have R2-D2 open the door on the left side of the hall, then have a rebel move
into there and pull the other lever. This raises the barrier to the Protocol
Droid Lock on the right side of the hall, so have C-3PO operate that, then make
R2-D2 climb the ramp on to the hatch it opened, and have him operate the panel
inside there. Finished!
Approximate Total Lego Studs: 120,000

FP4-1 Episode IV, Chapter One: Secret Plans (FREE PLAY MODE)
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
STUDS REQUIRED FOR TRUE JEDI STATUS: 70,000
APPROXIMATE TOTAL STUDS AVAILABLE: 260,000
Destroy the white Lego pods around the room. Have your bounty hunter use
Thermal Detonators on the two shiny metal grates on the walls to either side of
the door, then stand in the middle of the room between them to grab the Studs
as they pour out. Build the two control panels to open the door ahead. In the
hallway, blast the white Lego pods. Use the Force on each rectangular
compartment in the wall panels to open them (two for each wall section, except
for the furthest left segment, which has only one) to dump out some Studs, then
destroy both the upper and lower wall segments. Use the levers to open the
next door.
In the next hallway, turn right and head to the open door, which of course
slams shut as you approach it. Use Dark Force on it to blow the doors open
again - Double Score Zone! Grab the MINIKIT CANISTER #1 and the loose Studs,
and blow up the white Lego pods. Around the doorframes, there are a total of
twelve segments to open, releasing some Studs onto the floor (four segments
around each of three door frames - the one you came in through, and on each
side of the room). If you're having trouble targeting the upper ones, open the
adjacent lower one fully, then release the [O] button and press and hold it
again without moving. Back in the main hall, use the Force to open all white
hatches in the wall segments before blowing up the walls for even more Studs.
Do the same after fighting the Stormtroopers just ahead. On the left side,
have a Protocol Droid operate the door lock and blast the Lego pods in the
altered-perspective room.
Approximate Total Lego Studs: 60,000
In the room with the grated floor, use a Thermal Detonator to destroy the shiny
silver bulldozer-thingy, and jump into the gap in the floor that this creates
to run around and grab the Studs, as well as MINIKIT CANISTER #2. Have a small
character use the crawlspace access along the upper wall to reach the rear
below-ground area to collect some more Studs. Grapple up to the top walkway,
and use the Force on the wall panels along the upper wall to create two
platforms. Have a double-jumper use these to reach the MINIKIT CANISTER #3
above the upper platform. Build the bridge retractors and cross to the next
doorway.
Approximate Total Lego Studs: 65,000
Blow up the white Lego pods and make Darth Vader run away. Head through the
door he fled through. Again, destroy the white Lego pods (the right-most one
reveals a '1 of 3' purple grape block), use the Force on the containers in the
walls, and then destroy the wall segments (if you're having difficulty
targeting the upper containers with the Force, destroy the lower wall segments
first). Use the Bounty Hunter checkpoint at the right end of the hall. Enter
the room.
Inside, use the Force on all sparkly units around the archways. Blast the
white Lego pods. At the end of the room, approach the two Lego planks and
they'll automatically rise up. Walk up each one to release a pile of Lego
bricks. Build these into a doorway, and get the MINIKIT CANISTER #4 from
inside the passage that this creates. Take the left branch off the main hall
just behind you. Blast the first white Lego pod on the right to reveal purple
grape block '2 of 3'. Use the Force on the glowing bits around the archways,
including the short hall to the left just ahead. Blow up the shiny engine
component-thingy with a Thermal Detonator, grab the Studs, then build the
vehicle out of the Lego bricks. You can ride this buggy back into the regular
areas of the chapter. Have a Protocol Droid operate the lock on the yellow
energy wall up ahead. Inside, destroy the white Lego pod on the left to find
purple grape block '3 of 3', revealing MINIKIT CANISTER #5 at the end of the
previous length of hallway (just in front of where you grabbed the fourth
canister).
Enter the hydroponics bay through the door ahead, which opens as you approach
it. Don't forget to open the hatches in the archway around the door with the
Force. Inside, use the Force on the shower heads, producing water which will
grow plants inside the basins. Destroy these plants (each basin will take
several shots/swings to clear out. In the first basin on the right, you'll
receive this chapter's POWER BRICK in the process. In the three basins in the
rear, you receive a pile of Lego bricks on clearing out all of the plants.
Build each one, then use the Force to put the steering column on the base, then
the cabin over that. You can now ride you little Lego delivery truck all
around the chapter. Destroy the two shiny metal engine-thingies at the back of
this room with Thermal Detonators. Head back to the 'normal' section of this
chapter.
Approximate Total Lego Studs: 122,000
Battle the Stormtroopers with your Rebel friends, then harvest all Studs from
the wall panels. Pull the levers on the sides of the hall. Back near the
start of this hall, have a Stormtrooper use the checkpoint on the right side...
look familiar? You're back in the hall behind the Bounty Hunter checkpoint.
Looks like it's all connected. Anyway, continue up the main white hall to the
intersection, and run along the rows of lights on the floor on either side to
turn them all green at the same time, unleashing some Studs overhead. Try
using R2-D2 for his smooth gliding if you're having difficulty.
Approximate Total Lego Studs: 165,000
Inside the cargo bay, destroy the white Lego pods, and the fence segments along
the back. You can also use the Force on the blue lights along the back fence,
but stand close to them as you do this so that you don't lose too many Studs
into the abyss on the other side. At the back of the raised section of the
floor, use the Force to stack the two large crates. Jump on top of these to
reach the ledge overhead with MINIKIT CANISTER #6. You can also use the Force
on the orange and black structure along the right wall to build a ramp up to
the raised floor, releasing some Studs. Push the crates into their holes to
open the door ahead. In the hall, use the Force on the orange segments in the
archways to release more Studs. Use a Protocol Droid to drop the force field
ahead. Keep using the Force on the orange segments in the next part of the
hall. The first upper one on the left side past the forcefield will, when
turned, open a hatch beside it revealing MINIKIT CANISTER #7. Use an Astromech
Droid on the lock at the end of the hall.
Use the crane to pick up and drop the Stormtroopers into the abyss. Blast the
black fence segments to get some Studs, and use the Force on the blue lights
for even more. Blow up the shiny silver cylinders with a Thermal Detonator for
some Studs. Now, BEFORE CROSSING THE BRIDGE, go back and get one of the
vehicles from the Bounty-Hunter-only area (the Stormtrooper checkpoint that
gives you access half-way through there is useful for this). Drive the vehicle
back to the room with the crane, and drive it up over the lift along the bottom
edge of the first side of the room. This will make MINIKIT CANISTER #8 appear
over the lift. Now you may cross the bridge to the far side of this room.
Destroy the white Lego pods. The one by the far exit door hides a grapple
point. Use it to ride to the upper ledges, then use an Astromech Droid or
other flyer to reach the far side ledges. Activate the exit door with a
Protocol Droid.
Approximate Total Lego Studs: 215,000
Continue up the hall with the rebels until all Imperial forces are destroyed,
then go back to the beginning of the hall to collect the Studs from the wall
panels and white Lego pods. One of the wall panels on the left side reveals a
new '1 of 3' prompt when destroyed. Where the hall switches from white to
dark, don't miss the hatches in the archway just inside where this change
occurs, partly hidden by the outside wall. At the end of the hall, use the
Stormtrooper checkpoint on the left side. Inside, destroy the white Lego pods
to find the next '2 of 3' prompt. So close! Assemble the two piles of Lego
bricks and have a Protocol Droid use them. Fun!
Go up the hall, collecting the Studs in the usual places. Use a Thermal
Detonator on the shiny silver cylinders to find prompt '3 of 3', revealing
MINIKIT CANISTER #9 at the end of this hall. At the end of the hall, blow up
the white Lego pod and use the Astromech Droid Lock behind it. Go into the
Stormtroopers' bath and use Dark Force to lift up the plug, draining the pool.
This will cause MINIKIT CANISTER #10 to appear above the bath. Pull the lever
in the back, use the Astromech Droid Lock on the left, pull the lever in the
pod that opens, then use the Protocol Droid Lock on the right and exit by using
the next Astromech Droid Lock up the right ramp.
Approximate Total Lego Studs: 260,000

Minikit Canister Summary
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Minikit Canister #1: In second hallway, use Dark Force to open the doors
on the right side. The canister is inside.
Minikit Canister #2: In the first room with a grapple point, blow up the
shiny bulldozer-thingy with a Thermal Detonator, then
go under the floor to get the canister.
Minikit Canister #3: In the first room with a grapple point, use the Force
to create platforms at the top of the upper wall.
Jump to the highest of these and jump up to grab the
canister.
Minikit Canister #4: After fighting off Darth Vader, use the Bounty Hunter
checkpoint on the right. Inside, go up to the end
of the hall. Walk up the ramp on either side to
release Lego bricks. Build these into a doorway, and
the canister will be inside of it.
Minikit Canister #5: Locate three blocks with purple grape logos on them
to reveal the canister at the end of the first hall
through the Bounty Hunter checkpoint. The blocks are
found be destroying the white Lego pods to the right
after chasing off Darth Vader (1 of 3), on the right
after taking the left hallway off the first hall
inside the Bounty Hunter checkpoint (2 of 3), and on
the left after passing through the Protocol Droid-
deactivated gold energy barrier, just past the second
found block (3 of 3).
Minikit Canister #6: In the cargo room, with the checkered tracks on the
floor, use the Force to stack up the large crates in
the back of the raised section of the floor. Jump
from the top of this stack to the ledge overhead,
where you can hop up to the canister.
Minikit Canister #7: After the cargo room, drop the red force field in the
hall using a Protocol Droid. Use the Force on the
first upper orange segment on the left side to reveal
a hatch containing the canister.
Minikit Canister #8: After using the crane to eliminate a pair of
Stormtroopers, go back to the Bounty Hunter-only area
and board one of the two vehicles that you can build
there. Ride it back to the room with the crane, and
drive over the lift along the back of the floor. The
canister will appear over top of the lift.
Minikit Canister #9: Locate three more '# of 3' prompts to reveal the
canister. The first is in the last white hallway,
found by destroying the wall segments on the left
side. The second is inside the Stormtrooper
checkpoint on the left side at the end of this hall,
activated by destroying the white Lego pods. The
last is found by blowing up the silver cylinders in
the last hallway with a Thermal Detonator.
Minikit Canister #10: Inside the Stormtrooper's bath at the end of the
final hallway, use the Dark Force to lift the plug
and drain the pool. The canister will appear above
you.
Power Brick Location
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Inside the area accessed via the Bounty Hunter checkpoint, take the long
hallway to the left off of the first hallway, and open the energy barrier with
a Protocol Droid. Enter the hydroponics bay at the end of this hall. Use the
Force on the first shower head on the right side, then destroy all of the
plants that this causes to grow in the basin below it to find the Power Brick.

S4-2 Episode IV, Chapter Two: Through the Jundland Wastes (STORY MODE)
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Darth Vader searches in vain for the secret
Rebel plans on Princess Leia's starship. The
droid R2-D2 has escaped with the Death Star
blueprints to the planet Tatooine below.
But R2-D2, along with his companion C-3PO, has
been captured by Jawas - small scavenger
creatures who trade in mechanical scrap.
Young Luke Skywalker, unaware of the great
destiny which lies before him, is looking for
droids to help with work on his uncle's moisture
farm. As he approaches the Jawas' sandcrawler,
his life is about to change forever...
STUDS REQUIRED FOR TRUE JEDI STATUS: 75,000
APPROXIMATE TOTAL STUDS AVAILABLE: 120,000
~~ Welcome to the Wastes ~~
Collect the Studs around the rim of the wide field. Beside the starting point,
build the Lego sand castle out of the bouncing blocks for a few Studs, then
blast it three times to receive a few more. Shoot or slash the white Lego pods
and the adjacent piece of equipment in the rear corner for more Studs. To
reach the Studs on the high ledges behind the Banthas, have Ben ride a Bantha
near the ledge and double-jump onto it. Be careful about riding one of the
beasts while Sandpeople are around - if your ride loses it's hearts (two of
them in this case), the Studs that are dropped are your own! 2,000 each time
you get knocked off, to be precise. Destroy all segments of the fence around
the Banthas for more Studs as well. If you need Hearts here or at any point
throughout this chapter, the small kangaroo-like beasts hopping around will
drop Hearts when attacked. These are better known as Womp Rats Clear out the
Tusken Raiders and head to the right.
At the cliff's edge, destroy the orange Lego block structures on the left side
to drop part of the rock, which you can jump over to continue. Build the Lego
grapple point on the ground in between rounds of killing Tusken Raiders. Have
Luke fly up at the grapple point to reach a couple of Studs. Continue ahead,
collecting the Studs along the ground. You can pretty much ignore the Tusken
Raiders that appear on the ledge overhead if you stay close to or under the
ledge, where they can't shoot you. Just ahead, Sandpeople will continue to
slide down the sand hill until you use the force on the large object to the
left of the slope to create a walkway. After the enemy forces stop coming, go
around and collect the various Studs in the area; use the Force on the flowers
to grow and pop them; use the Force on the shovel to unearth Lego blocks, then
build a treasure chest out of them; use the Force to build stacks of metallic
cylinders on the left side, then blast the stacks; destroy the white pods; use
the Force to build a satellite dish on top of the sand hill. All of these
actions yield Studs. When you've cleared the area of anything of value (that
you can reach for now, anyway), head up the ramp you created up the sand hill.
Approximate Total Lego Studs: 17,000
~~ To the Jawa Sandcrawler ~~
Collect the Studs in front of you, then eliminate the distant Tusken Raiders
with blaster shots or by reflecting their own shots back with Ben's lightsaber.
Head down into the screen to find some more Studs, including a blue one. Build
the movable block on the checkered track to get more Studs, then push the block
to the right and use it to jump up to the ledge for yet more Studs. Go back
down and push the block forward all the way to the end, then use it to reach
the ledge in front of you. Jump across to the next raised platform, then down
to the ground on the far side of the mud pit. Build the hopping grapple point
and have Luke use it to reach the Studs above. Continue forward to the Jawa's
large desert vehicle.
Get the Studs along the left edge of the area. Blast the white pods in front
of the Sandcrawler, and also the beige generators at the far right end. One of
these uncovers a pile of Lego blocks. There are now two such piles back here,
so construct Droids out of both of them to receive a fair number of Studs. Use
the Force on the shovel along the right side to uncover more Lego blocks to
build a third Droid and receive more Studs. Now, jump up the ledges on the
right side and try to jump to the Blue Stud ahead at the top of a ramp; you can
almost make it, but not quite, but at least you get the other Studs on the way
down. To get the Blue Stud in the Sandcrawler at the far end, have Ben ride
the Bantha up beside it and double-jump to the Studs. Now, to get on top of
the Sandcrawler, have Ben use the Force on the two indestructible Lego
structures in front of the middle of the Sandcrawler, then jump on top of them.
From there, use the Fordce on the orange panel to lower it. Have Luke build
the grapple point on the ground in front of it, then use it to reach the newly
opened panel. Pull the lever, get up to the next panel above, and pull the
lever there to activate the elevator. Ride that to reach the roof of the
Sandcrawler. Up here, collect the Studs hidden behind the short walls at the
front and back. Have Ben do a double-jump lightsaber attack on the round vents
on the right side to uncover a hole that will bring you back down to the ground
if you drop through it. Pull the levers up on top of the Sandcrawler (your
partner will help you with that), then drop back to the ground. Before
shooting up the intake pipe, destroy the orange barriers behind it, then jump
in and get the Blue Studs that were behind them.
~~ Inside the Sandcrawler ~~
Build the Protocol Droid Lock panel on the ground where you start; you'll be
coming back to this shortly. Head to the right and destroy the grey
generators, then build a Droid out of the Lego blocks you uncover in this
manner to receive a lot of Studs. Along the walls, any sections with flashing
red lights can be struck twice to give you some Studs. Around the first
corner, destroy the orange ladders along both sides of the hallway, then use
the Force on each wheel to release some Studs. Once you've activated all of
them, the pods holding the Blue Studs at the end open up. Continue to the next
room.
In here, go around and destroy the grey Lego cylinders and the wall panels with
flashing red lights, and build three Droids out of piles of Lego blocks, all to
receive some Studs and clear a little space. Now, pull the lever along the
back wall; this brings out a movable block. Push it along the brown tracks in
the floor. Whenever you reach a flashing red panel in the ground, the block
will explode, destroying the nearest orange barrier, and letting you reach
whatever was behind it. You can then pull the lever again to receive another
movable block. On the right side of the room, you can get a Minikit canister
in this way. On the left side, blow away all three barriers in turn to receive
some Blue Studs and to free R2-D2. Note that once you free R2-D2, the Jawa
will sometimes run up to him and temporarily deactivate him. To avoid this,
you can stun the Jawa when you see him coming by using the Force on him, or you
can kill him outright. If R2 is stunned, just wait a moment and he'll spring
back. Have R2-D2 operate the Astromech Droid Lock on the back wall, then enter
the elevator that this opens.
~~ Upper level ~~
Walk on all four round panels in the ground in each of two rows to light them
all up and reveal a pair of levers. Pull them, together with your partner.
Destroy the grey Lego cylinders in one corner, and use the Force on the small
round objects on the ground in two opposite corners. Above one of the trios,
blast away the grey grate up in the wall to reach the Blue Stud behind it.
When you're done collecting, head up into the next room.
Use the Force on the three small brown round devices in the far corner, and
collect all of the Studs here before turning your attention to the center of
the room. Push the green Lego panel to move the suction device above the three
cages. When it is centered over one of the cages, the light at the top of the
cage will light up green. Then, use R2-D2 to operate the Astromech Droid Lock
to the left of the cages to suck up and release the cage's occupant. You can
release the Gonk Droids if you feel like it, but this doesn't net you anything
special. Suck up C-3PO.
Now, before you use the Protocol Droid Lock on the side of the room, travel all
the way back to the entrance to the Sandcrawler. Have C-3PO operate the
Protocol Droid Lock that you built there. Inside here, destroy the three Lego
cylinders in one corner for some Studs. Use the Force on the front of the air
duct mounted in the right wall to release a pile of Lego blocks. Build a
yellow cylinder out of these, receiving some Studs for your efforts. Next,
have R2-D2 operate the Astromech Droid Lock in the upper right corner to move
the container beside the yellow cylinder. Now use the Force on the whole
contraption to release a LOT of Blue Studs. But the fun's not over yet! Use
the Force to shake each chair around the table to release more Studs, and also
blow up each goblet on the table. Finally, use the Force on the brown antenna
on the ground beside the table to move it onto the television. You can then
use the Force on the TV's control knob four times to release a few more Studs.
If you've been collecting everything up to this point, you should hit True Jedi
status in this room. When you're done, return to the room where you released
C-3PO and use the Protocol Droid Lock on the left side.
In the final room of the Sandcrawler, destroy the Lego cylinders on the right
side to reveal a pile of Lego bricks. Build a Droid out of them for a pile of
Studs. On the left side of the room, likewise destroy the Lego cylinders, then
use the Force on the shelf behind them to build a ramp. Walk C-3PO up it and
use the Protocol Droid Lock to release another pile of Lego Blocks. Build
another Droid out of these for the final Studs in this chapter. Use the Force
on each of the four brown struts holding the cargo door closed, then walk
outside once it's open.
Approximate Total Lego Studs: 80,000
~~ Back outside ~~
Have Ben Kenobi move up the ramp on the left and cross to the end of the ledge,
then double-jump to the next ledge above to grab the Studs there. Jump back on
the ground, fight some Tusken Raiders, and destroy the rocks on the left side
to reveal a small cave containing a couple of Blue Studs. Around the bend,
have C-3PO operate the Protocol Droid Lock on the moisture collector on the
right side to dry out the mud pit. You can then walk on it. Destroy the water
container, then use the Force on the plants that grow as a result to receive
some Studs. Enter the small cave to the right of this mud pit for a few more
Studs. To reach the ledge above this cave, jump on top of the white Lego pod
just ahead before destroying it, and double-jump onto the ledge. Build a small
ramp out of the orange Lego bricks on the ground, then go up and use the Force
on the grapple hook to place it up above, and build the grapple point on the
ground. Have Luke go up to grab the Studs and the Minikit Canister up here.
Have C-3PO operate the next moisture collector to the left here. Destroy the
water canister, then use the Force to blow up all four plants to reveal Studs
and Lego bricks. Use the latter to build a small orange platform. Use the
Force first on each of the orange cones just ahead, then move the platform you
just built on top of those. Use the whole thing to jump to the top of the
bridge and collect the Studs, then continue forward up the slope.
Defeat two trios of Tusken Raiders. Ben can double-jump on top of the ledge on
the right side to snag a few Studs. Next, have him jump along the rocks on the
left side, following the trail of Studs, then use the Force on the debris
embedded in the rock wall once at the top. Cross the bridge that this creates,
and jump to the ledge on the right near the far side. Jump up the rocks on the
right just ahead and push the domed Lego block forward off of the edge along
the checkered floor. On the left side, Ben Kenobi can double-jump up to the
ledge with the Blue Stud, but that's not all! He can also double-jump down to
the flat-top rock nearest this edge of the pit, then jump in place on top of it
to lower it to where you can walk forward and pick up the Minikit Canister in
the cave in the rock wall. Continuing on, destroy the white Lego pods, and use
the Force on the block that you pushed off the ledge to create a bridge to the
moisture remover. Have C-3PO operate that, then head onto the dried-out mud
pit. Destroy the water canisters and then the plants for some Studs. On the
left, you also get a pile of Lego bricks with which to build a platform,
allowing you to jump up to a Double Score Zone. Ben Kenobi can double-jump to
the far ledge with a Blue Stud, but you have to jump from the very edge of your
platform to reach it.
Back on the ground, use the Force on the objects at either side of the path to
grow a pair of palm trees, and hold the Force until they unleash some Studs.
Destroy the white Lego pods, and the rocks on the right side to reveal a cave
with a Blue Stud. There's another such cave just ahead on the left side. Have
Ben jump up the ledges on the right and use the Force on the rockets (or
whatever they are) at the top to unleash a few more Studs.
Approximate Total Lego Studs: 110,000
~~ Land Speeder! ~~
Blow up some more rocket tops with the Force just below you, and get the Studs
from behind the lower rim of the area. Go to the top of the strip of land on
this side of the mud sea and destroy the Lego devices there for some Studs.
Now repair the Land Speeder with the bouncing Lego bricks behind it. Have Ben
jump in, and away you go! First, head straight up the mud sea to the next
island with another Land Speeder on it to be repaired. Do so, and collect the
loose Studs and destroy the Lego pods on this island before moving on. Hover
to the next island and grab the Blue Stud, then up to the next, with a couple
of white Lego pods and a pile of Lego bricks. Build up the Lego bricks, then
use the Force to build the partial Tyderian Shuttle and watch it fly away.
Interesting (?). Anyway, continue to the next island, where you can construct
a grapple point. Go back to Luke and switch control to him, then return here
and grapple up to the top of the far rock. Grab the Studs and jump to the
adjacent rock, where a Minikit Canister is waiting to be collected. Return to
the Land Speeder and head back down to the bottom of the mud sea.
On the right side along the bottom of this area, hop out of the Land Speeder.
Beside the base of the dock, build the lever using the Lego bricks, then pull
it to raise a bridge and have the rest of your party join you. Head to the
right and eliminate the Stormtroopers who are waiting to ambush you. With them
out of the way, there are a few tasks to get all of the Studs here. Destroy
the white Lego pods, and the fence segments. Inside the fence, use the Lego
bricks to build a lawnmower, then use the Force to send it around in a circle.
Stop every so often to collect the Studs that it digs up before they vanish.
At the end of its circuit, it'll partially explode. Finish the job on it to
milk every Stud from it. Have R2-D2 operate the Astromech Droid Lock on the
moisture controller to grow a couple of plants, then use the Force to smash
them and receive more Studs. Straight down from here, use the Force on the
shovel to unearth more Lego bricks, and build a treasure chest containing a
Blue Stud. And last but not least, ride the Dewback up beside the house, and
jump off of it to the roof to collect the Studs there. Finally, stand on the
buttons in front of the house, and your party members should join you (if they
don't, go and switch between them until they follow). Pull the lever this
activates, and enter the home of Ben Kenobi.
Approximate Total Lego Studs: 120,000

=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
STUDS REQUIRED FOR TRUE JEDI STATUS: 120,000
APPROXIMATE TOTAL STUDS AVAILABLE: 175,000
Build the sand castle out of Lego Bricks and destroy it. Blow up the white
Lego pods. Destroy the fence segments around the Banthas, and double-jump off
of a Bantha to reach the high ledges behind it. Head right. At the break in
the ground, turn right, and use an Astromech Droid to hover over to the shiny
metal cylinders. Throw a Thermal Detonator on them, then immediately hover
back across the gap before it explodes. Fly back again once after it does and
enter the new area.
Destroy the white Lego pods wherever you see them. Behind a pair on the left,
there's a crawl vent. Go through it and slide down the slope, collecting
Studs. Repeat as many times as necessary to get all of the Studs. On the
right, stack the three grey Lego crates using the Force, then double-jump from
their top to the flat rock to the right, then hover to the next flat rock up.
Get the Studs and push the mine cart to the left. It'll land on the cart
tracks, roll along and blow up the barrier up ahead, revealing the POWER BRICK
in a cave. Use the Force on the two shovels along the ground. The rear one
digs up a few Studs. The front one digs up a pile of Lego bricks, which you
can use to build a Droid, releasing some Studs. Beside the end of the mine
cart tracks, use the Force to raise some brown Lego blocks. Jump from them up
to the Tusken Raider encampment.
Up here, blow up the white Lego pods, and all of the brown baskets on the right
side. Just up from them, double-jump to the ledge on the right. Use the Force
on the doors to the tents to create platforms with which to reach the Studs on
top of the tents. Head left and eliminate the group of Tusken Raiders. Hover
across the gap ahead to reach the platform with some Studs and MINIKIT CANISTER
#1. Hover back and retrace your steps to where you first hovered over to the
shiny silver canisters and blew them up. Shoot the orange Lego debris on the
left to lower the rock and jump up to the bridge to cross the gap.
Approximate Total Lego Studs: 22,000
Build the white grapple point on the ground on the right, and use it to reach
the ledge above. Hover ahead and slightly to the left to reach a raised ledge
with a crawl vent access on it. This places you in a partly submerged strip
underneath the rock, with MINIKIT CANISTER #2. Go back up top and jump to the
ground. Back a little ways on the left side, use Dark Force to blow up the
large black and red Lego sheets. In the area behind them, use the Force on the
pile of debris on the left side to build a bomb, blowing up part of the rock.
Jump into the space created, smash the fence and use the Force on the debris
inside to blow up another part of the rock. Double-jump from the ground into
the second space thus created, and from there to the ledge with MINIKIT
CANISTER #3. You can build the Lego skeletons if you want to, but you don't
get any Studs for doing so.
Use the Force on the flowers, and destroy the watering pipes. Up ahead, use
the Force to build the stacks of cans, then shoot them all. Use the Force on
the shovel to dig up some Lego bricks, then build a treasure chest out of them.
Use the Force to make a slope up the sand hill, and use the Force again to make
a satellite out of the rest of the debris on the hill.
Approximate Total Lego Studs: 33,000
Build the movable Lego block and use it to reach first the side ledge, then the
front ledge. On the other side of the mud pit, build and use the grapple
point. In front of the Sandcrawler, jump to the ledges on the right side, then
hover to the Blue Stud at the top of the sand slope. Use the Bantha to move
alongside the front of the Sandcrawler and double-jump to the open compartment
with another Blue Stud. Go between the Sandcrawler's tracks and smash the
fence to reach the Blue Studs behind it. Destroy the Lego pods and build the
robots. Get on top of the Sandcrawler. On the right, fully destroy the four
squares to get a few Blue Studs. On the left, use a Thermal Detonator to
destroy the shiny round covers. Grab the Studs, then stand on the two red
lights (with your partner's help). Crawl through the vent access this reveals
to get the MINIKIT CANISTER #4 inside the Sandcrawler. Use the levers and get
sucked up inside the vehicle.
Approximate Total Lego Studs: 55,000
Build the Protocol Droid Lock and use it. Inside, use the Astromech Control
Panel, and use the Force on the vent, all to build a Stud dispenser. Use the
Force on that to receive its bounty. Use the Force on the three chairs and
three goblets at the table. Use the Force to put the antenna on the TV, then
on the control knob repeatedly. Destory the Lego cylinders in the corner, then
return to the hallway outside.
Shoot the wall panels with the red lights twice each. Destory the grey Lego
cylinders, and build the robot out of the pile of Lego bricks. Destory the
orange ladders along the walls, and use the Force to turn all of the wheels,
and get the Blue Studs from the end. Use Dark Force on the black grate at the
start of this stretch of hallway, then go down and get the Studs underneath the
grates.
In the next room, build all of the Droids, and shoot all of the Lego cylinders
and wall panels with red lights. Pull the lever to get movable blocks, and
push them in front of each alcove to receive its contents, including MINIKIT
CANISTER #5 in the alcove along the left wall (this canister was obtainable in
Story mode). Do the same to get the Blue Studs in the other alcoves, then use
the Astromech Droid Lock to continue.
Approximate Total Lego Studs: 91,000
Destroy the Lego cylinders, and use the Force to blow up the air vents in the
ground. Shoot the grey wall grate in the right corner to get the Blue Stud
behind it. Use Dark Force to blow up the floor grate and get the Studs
underneath. Also use Dark Force to blow up the wall panel on the left side,
then jump up and crawl through the vent. On the other side, step on the red
lights with your partner to open the gate and go through. Use the Force on the
wheel by the lava flow, then use Dark Force on the grate that appears over the
flow. With the lava flow stemmed, hover across the river to the MINIKIT #6 on
the far side. While there use the Force on the little brown air vent covers,
and shoot out the wall panels on the left. Hover back, then use the levers in
the previous room.
In the next room, there's no more C-3PO to rescue, so skip the suction machine
entirely. Use the Force on the air vent covers in the corner, and use the
Protocol Droid Lock on the side wall. On the other side, destroy the cylinders
and the destructible wall panels, and use the Force on the ramp on the left
side. Use the Protocol Droid Lock at the top to drop out some Lego bricks.
Build both Droids, then use the Force on the door struts to exit.
Approximate Total Lego Studs: 106,000
Back outside, go up the left ramp and double jump to the far ledge. Blow up
the rock debris in the wall at ground level on the left side and enter the cave
for some Blue Studs. Operate the moisture converters with a Protocol Droid,
smash the water canisters, and use the Force on the plants. On the right,
enter the cave. To get to the ledge above it, either jump up from the top of
the white Lego pods before destroying them, or hover back from the ledge ahead
once you've built and used the grapple point. Speaking of which, you'll find
MINIKIT CANISTER #7 on the ledge accessed by building and using the grapple
point (you can get this one easily in Story mode). After drying out the second
mud pit, build a platform out the Lego bricks unearthed by destroying the
plants. Use the Force to stack both orange cones and this platform to reach
the bridge over the path ahead. On the left side, throw a Thermal Detonator
over the remaining mud pit to blow up the shiny metal debris. Hover over the
pit and crawl into the vent access behind the debris. Get the Studs from the
ledges above. Further back on the left side, use Dark Force on the scaffold to
lower the rock, so that you can jump to the ledge with the Tusken Raiders
above. Enter the newly-opened area.
Use the Force on both shovels to unearth seeds, then use the Force again to
grow these into palm trees. Destory all of the baskets to uncover more seeds,
and grow them too. Finally, destroy the palm trees for a few Studs each. Run
up the ramps along the back to get all of the Studs. To reach the high ledge
on the left, hover from the highest rear ledge over there, and you'll slide
upwards when you hit the edge of the target ledge. To reach the MINIKIT
CANISTER #8, ride a Bantha onto the large red button on the right, then hop off
and walk over the small red button on the left. This will release the canister
from its cylinder. Return to the first dried-out mud pits and continue upward.
Approximate Total Lego Studs: 127,000
Use the Force on the half-buried pedestals, then use them to reach the upper
right ledge. On the left side, double-jump up the rocks on the near side of
the pit, and use the Force on the debris to build a bridge on the right. On
the far side, double-jump back to the tall flat-topped rock over the pit, then
jump in place on top of it to lower it down. Grab MINIKIT CANISTER #9 from the
cave now in front of you (this one was obtainable in Story mode). Back above,
jump up to the checkered track on the upper right ledge. Push the block up
over the edge, then hover to the left to the raised ledge with a Blue Stud.
Use the Force on the debris of the moving block, and use the Protocol Droid
Lock to dry out the mud pit. Destroy the water canisters. On the right, you
can jump from the top of the flowers to the upper right ledge for a measly few
Studs. When you destroy the flowers on the left, build the Lego bricks thus
unearthed into a platform, and double-jump from it to the Double Score Zone
above. It's safest to use an Astromech Droid to hover across to the ledge
straight ahead, though it's technically reachable with a double-jump. Back on
the ground, use the Force to grow the palm trees on either side of the path,
and then destroy them. Just ahead, you can double-jump to the right ledge for
some Studs. Past that, destroy the rock debris in both walls and get the Studs
from the caves. On the upper right ledge, use the Force on the rocket tops.
Approximate Total Lego Studs: 147,000
Use the Force on the white rocket tops, and rebuild the Land Speeder. Destroy
the white Lego pods just up from the starting position. Skim to the next
island up, and use Thermal Detonators to destroy the shiny metal devices. Ride
to each island and collect whatever Studs are to be found. After building the
white grapple point on the rear-most island, use it, then jump right to grab
MINIKIT CANISTER #10 (this canister could have been collected in Story mode).
Ride your Land Speeder back down and to the right. Use the lever to raise the
bridge. On this side, use the Force to work the shovel and then build the
treasure chest. Destroy the fence. Build the lawnmower, use the Force to push
it around, and destroy it. Use the Force on the rocket tops. Work the
Astromech Droid Lock, then use the Force on the flowers. Blow up the shiny
metal cylinders with a Thermal Detonator. Ride the Dewback to reach the roof.
Step on the red lights and pull the lever to finish.
Approximate Total Lego Studs: 175,000
MINIKIT VEHICLE COMPLETED: ** Sandcrawler **

Minikit Canister Summary
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Minikit Canister #1: Blow up the shiny silver cylinders to the right at
the first break in the ground in the starting area.
Use the Force at the end of ground level in the new
area to build up some brown Lego bricks, and jump to
the upper level. Go left past some Tusken Raiders,
and hover across the gap to the canister.
Minikit Canister #2: After building the first white grapple point, go up
and hover up and left to the next raised ledge.
Enter the crawl vent and collect the canister from
the space below.
Minikit Canister #3: Past the first white grapple point, use Dark Force on
the Lego wall on the left side. Inside, use the
Force on the Lego debris on the left side, smash the
fence this reveals, and use the Force again to blow
up a second part of the rock wall. Jump from there
to the canister.
Minikit Canister #4: On top of the Sandcrawler, use a Thermal Detonator to
destroy the shiny round covers on the left. Step on
red lights to reveal a crawl vent access. Use it to
reach the canister in the side of the Sandcrawler.
Minikit Canister #5: In the room with the tracks of brown tiles, use the
lever to obtain a crate and push it in front of the
brown ladder with a visible canister behind it. This
will blow up the ladder, and you can grab the goods.
Minikit Canister #6: In the room after the one with the suction tubes,
where you rescued C-3PO in Story mode, use Dark Force
on the left wall panel, then jump up and crawl into
the vent. Open the gate ahead with the red buttons,
then use the Force on the wheel and Dark Force on the
wall panel above the lava flow. Hover across the
lava to the far ledge with the canister.
Minikit Canister #7: In the area where you first dry out mud pits, build
and use the white grapple point (use the Force to
move the grapple hook into place) to reach a ledge
with the canister in plain site.
Minikit Canister #8: In the area where you dry out mud pits, use Dark
Force on the scaffolding on the left side. Jump up
the rocks and enter the area over the rise. Ride a
Bantha onto the large red button on the right, then
jump off and step onto the small red button on the
left to release the canister.
Minikit Canister #9: After building a large bridge from Lego debris
wedged into the rock on the left side, cross over and
double-jump back onto the tall flat-topped rock over
the pit. Jump in place on this rock to lower it, so
that you can get the canister from the cave that is
now just in front of you.
Minikit Canister #10: After rebuilding the Land Speeder, ride it up to the
rear-most island. Build the grapple point, use it,
and jump to the canister.
Power Brick Location
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
In the starting area, head right to the first gap in the ground. Move to the
right along the edge of the gap until the camera pans over, and use an
Astromech Droid to hover over to the shiny metal cylinders that are now
visible. Set a Thermal Detonator on them, and hover back before it explodes.
Hover across again once the way is clear. In the area that this opens up, use
the Force to stack the three Lego crates on the right side. Jump from those
right to the flat-top rock, then hover to the next one up. Push the mine cart
off the ledge to the left to break open the barrier along the cart tracks. The
Power Brick will be inside the cave that this opens up.

S4-3 Episode IV, Chapter Three: Mos Eisley Spaceport (STORY MODE)
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
In search of a pilot who can take them to the
distant planet of Alderaan, Luke Skywalker and
old Ben Kenobi journey by Land Speeder to Mos
Eisley spaceport.
Here, among the most dangerous and reckless
elements of Tatooine society, they hope to find
someone brave or foolhardy enough to help in
their quest to deliver R2-D2's secret data to the
Rebel Alliance. But Imperial forces are
everywhere...
STUDS REQUIRED FOR TRUE JEDI STATUS: 165,000
APPROXIMATE TOTAL STUDS AVAILABLE: 190,000
~~ Streets of Mos Eisley ~~
This is a wide area with lots of Studs to be found, so for clarity's sake I'll
go up one side of the road at a time. Needless to say, fight off the
Stormtroopers whenever they engage you. You can get Hearts by shooting the
little Womp Rats that run around all over the place. Also note that there are
three carrots to uncover; doing so reveals a Minikit Canister, but you will be
unable to reach it during this pass through the chapter (you'll have to come
back later in Free Play to obtain it).
Starting on the right side of the road, head to the very back corner to grab a
lone Stud. Destroy the dark garbage cans (each takes two hits). Ben Kenobi
can double-jump on top of the awnings to collect the Studs up there. You can
also shoot the various colored pieces of junk that line the walls sporadically
Beside the first set of stairs, the garbage can in the corner is hiding the
first carrot. Use the force on the basket with the green Lego pieces to stack
them together, giving you one Stud (is this supposed to be like charming a
snake?). To the left of the stairs, build the shiny metal Lego bricks to
receive some Studs, and smash the basket just past it. Go up the stairs now
and enter the Double Score Zone. Collect the Studs, then head out left along
the walkway. Ben can do a long double-jump to reach the other end of this
broken bridge, grab a few more Studs, then jump left onto the top of the awning
for a few more. Slide back down to the street. Use the Force to plant each of
the single orange Lego bricks and sprout some flower and Studs.
Continuing up the right side of the street past the broken bridge, put together
the Lego bricks underneath the awning. Use the Force on the resulting block.
Locate the identical block just ahead, and jump off of it to the top of the
triangular awning above. Once you've got the Studs up there, use the Force on
this second block to stack it on top of the first, then jump off the top block
to the roof to the right, and double-jump in place to get two Blue Studs.
Enter the round building and collect the Studs inside. Destroy the next
garbage can, and use the force to scatter the blue Lego bricks in the basket.
Plant each brick using the Force for more Studs. Destroy the next garbage can
and head up the stairs. From the top, jump right to the top of the round
building and slide down it, collecting the Studs. Go back up the stairs and
head left, following the ledge until you reach another set of stairs leading
down. This is near the end of the street, and there will be a lot of heavy
Stormtrooper fire. Jump right to the large brown awning once or twice to
collect all of the Studs. Move under the awning and blow up the garbage cans.
This reveals a pile of Lego bricks which build a bicycle. This doesn't seem to
accomplish anything (other than making a bicycle for its own sake, of course).
Heading back down along this wall, destroy the next garbage can to reveal the
second carrot. Enter the next door down to find some more Studs. That's it
for this side of the street, so head back to the beginning, by your Land
Speeder.
Starting at the very beginning of the street, follow the left wall. Destroy
the garbage can in the corner. For the smaller garbage cans just ahead, use
the Force to raise the lids until they release Studs before destroying the
whole thing. Use the Force to lay out the blue Lego bricks in the basket
(again, this doesn't appear to accomplish anything). Smash the adjacent pile
of grey Lego debris three times to get all of the Studs. Continue onward,
grabbing the loose Studs along the wall. Destroy the next garbage cans to find
the third carrot, revealing the Minikit Canister that you cannot obtain in
Story Mode. You can, however, use the Force on this carrot to raise it
temporarily, and double-jump onto it and from there to the upper ledge on the
wall to get more Studs. Follow this ledge until you reach an awning, and slide
down it along the line of Studs. Go back to the left on the ground. Smash the
large garbage can, but be careful not to damage to small ones yet. Instead,
use the Force to raise the lid on all four, and use the Force again to pull
some Lego bricks out of each can. Once all four are empty, you can then
destroy them. Turn to the pile of Lego bricks you just created, and build a
doorway out of them, complete with Astromech Droid Lock. Have R2-D2 open this,
to discover... this chapter's Power Brick!
And now for the final fight on this street. Move to the end. Have Luke take
out the Stormtroopers on the wall and on the ground in quick succession, then
switch to Ben Kenobi and use the force on the stairs on the right side to build
a ramp just a few steps over. Go up this ramp and fight any new Stormtroopers
that have emerged. Enter the door on the right side for a couple of Studs.
Head along the bridge over the gate and have C-3PO operate the panel there.
Jump to the ground and enter the opened doorway.
Approximate Total Lego Studs: 55,000
~~ Mos Eisley Courtyard ~~
Destroy the garbage cans to the characters' right. Head into the courtyard.
Explore the perimeter, and gather whatever Studs are available. If an object
doesn't have sparkling stars around it, destroy it. Doing this to the block
with the transparent blue glass on its front reveals a pile of Lego bricks.
Build these into ramp. Just down from here, use the Force to stack the three
identical large blocks, then jump from the top one to the Minikit Canister to
the right on a raised ledge. Go up and climb the ramp now. Destroy the two
garbage cans to the left of the door. Each one reveals a pile of Lego bricks.
Build two mechanical feet out of them, and use the Force to move them onto the
ground below. Have C-3PO go up the ramp and operate the Protocol Droid Lock by
the door. Inside, have a human character build the Lego bricks into an ominous
mechanical head. Can you guess what we're building yet? In front of where the
two feet got placed, use the Force to dig up a pile of Lego, and use the Force
again to build a leg on top of one of the feet. Next, head left and have R2-D2
use his hover jets to reach the door with the Astromech Droid Lock. Operate
it, and get Ben to use the Force twice on the contents to build the other leg.
Now, assemble the Lego bricks in front of the built-up feet and legs, and use
the Force to move the product into place. Finally, move right and use the
Force to put the large head on top, completing your AT-ST.
A cut-scene shows a Stormtrooper jumping in and comandeering the fruits of your
labor. Stay in control of Ben Kenobi and use the Force on the AT-ST to pop the
pilot out of the cockpit, then slice him in two with your lightsaber (thanks to
Akash for pointing out the Force trick - much easier than using Luke to blast
the AT-ST repeatedly!). Hop into the AT-ST yourself and go for a ride.
Head downwards and shoot the rebel barrier near where you entered the
courtyard. Head through and shoot the few Stormtroopers that come out to get
you in this Double Score Zone. Feel free to jump out of the AT-ST once you're
through the barrier and handle things by hand. Shoot the garbage cans all
around and collect all of the loose Studs. There is a hidden Blue Stud behind
the car dealership billboard on the right, which you must jump up behind to
find. Also, a great little bonus can be obtained here, by returning to the
start of this chapter and driving Luke's Landspeeder all the way back here.
Park it in the space across from the billboard, and a Jawa will come out and
pay you 10,000 Studs for it! (Thanks to Rick Shores, Devon Compton and Danny
Ralph for pointing out this bonus to me. Rick also found the Blue Stud behind
the billboard).
When you're done, climb back into the AT-ST and head for where the barrier was.
Jump out to the right and collect the Studs, then jump out to the left and
build the two seat cannons for more Studs. Take control of one of these pieces
or artillery for a little mini-game. Shoot ten of the little buggers to get a
Minikit Canister!
Head back to the opposite end of the main courtyard in the AT-ST and shoot the
barrier there. Be sure to walk through all of the released Studs before they
vanish. On the other side, in the AT-ST you can shoot the antennas on the
fronts of the buildings for more Studs, but only the ones at your height. Once
you've done this, clear out the Imperial resistance, and hop out of the AT-ST
to finish blasting the garbage cans and other junk around the area. Watch out
for Stormtroopers running in from the bottom and commandeering an AT-ST; listen
to the music change when one appears and kill him before he can reach the
vehicles. When you're satisfied, head through the door at the top of the area.
Approximate Total Lego Studs: 138,000
~~ Mos Eisley Cantina ~~
Look familiar? It's not quite the same as the game's hub, but it'll do. The
Droids are prevented from entering by a forcefield. Have Luke blast the four
field generators to let them through. Collect the loose Studs and stand on one
of the red lights in the floor. Your party will join you and the door ahead
will open. Head through it.
Now in control of Han and Chewie, it's time to wreak havoc in the cantina.
There are several Studs lying around, and you can find more by blasting all of
the chairs around the room. However, in doing this you may often auto-target
another character instead, causing everyone to break out the blasters. It's no
big deal, just shoot whoever's around you and wait for the ruckus to die down.
When you think you've got all of the goods, head up the stairs marked by an
arrow.
Approximate Total Lego Studs: 147,000
~~ Han and Chewie's Excellent Adventure ~~
Outside, shoot the three garbage cans. One contains an onion/rutabaga/turnip,
or whatever it is, another '1 of 3' affair. You can also jump and shoot the
antenna on the wall to the left. Head into the doorway up the stairs on the
left side to pick up a hidden Blue Stud. Blast the Lego junk under the awning
past the grapple point, and collect the last loose Studs on ground level. Use
the grapple point to reach the next level, and jump right from the corner to
reach the Studs on top of the awning. Build the next grapple point from the
Lego bricks. Before you use it, however, shoot the tall antenna to the left of
the first landing for a few more Studs. Grapple up to the top roof and shoot
the other antenna up here too. Enter the archway.
On the other side of the roof, shoot the antenna left of the bounty hunter-only
door, and also the one at the next jump-down point on the left. Before using
the next grapple point, jump downward to the Studs on the awning. And now, as
long as you're on the ground, run around and blast the garbage cans, and the
colorful Lego junk in the corners, and grab some loose Studs too. Don't go
further than the checkered floor track yet, though. Use the grapple point on
the ground to reach some Studs on the rooftop and shoot two more antennas (one
just above your roof, one across down to the right. Have Han jump and dive
from below that second antenna, down and left to the next rooftop. Cross left
to the other end, and you can just barely jump and dive towards the next level
roof, collecting the Blue Stud on the corner there as you fall. Use the
grapple point to get back up top and walk right through the archway, then
grapple up and re-enter the previous area.
This time, use the next grapple point to fly over the checkered floor to the
far rooftop. Pull the lever here, and push the block that you obtain along the
track towards the edge. Before you push it right over, though, jump on top of
it to reach the ledge moving up away from you with the Studs, including a blue
one at the end. Return to your moving block and push it to the ground. But
before you jump down to join it, grapple back across to the other side of the
rooftops and do a jump and dive-roll upwards across the awning to grab the
Studs there. Now, on the ground for good, push the moving block up along the
checkered track. Once it's at the end, shoot it from a distance to blow it and
the door up. Before you leave, though, go around and shoot the last garbage
cans and Lego debris, and enter the doors on the sides to search for loose
Studs.
~~ Stormtrooper battle! ~~
Before you completely pass through the doorway, why not shoot as many of the
Stormtroopers as you can? Once inside, hang a left and spend some time
collecting the Studs while fending off Stormtroopers. The ones riding the
Dewbacks can be knocked off by shooting the steeds twice. Blast the garbage
cans along the walls. You can find the second turnip inside one of them, and
to its right, you can shoot the brown circles inside the archway (manure?) to
sprout flowers and Studs. Blast the sparkling doors to unleash a torrent of
Studs, which fly out fairly far into the middle of the room, so you'll have to
run after them to collect them. Push the moving block along the checkered
track so that you can jump up to the high ledge with Studs upon it. Once
you've removed all of the ground troops, the high shooters can be hit with jump
shots. When you're finished on the ground, ride a Dewback to the wall with the
large blastable doors, and jump off its back to the rooftop. Gather the Studs
and head on down the stairs on the left side.
Inside, you join the others and the final fight begins. The Imperial Spy will
call out troops from the safety of his high ledge. Destroy all of the
Stormtroopers, and he'll call in another wave. While you're fighting, blast
the objects around the rim of the room and collect the Studs as well. After
the third round of Stormtroopers, the Spy will drop to the ground himself.
Watch for this to happen, because you can then shoot him. It takes four hits
to kill him. He'll try to enter a door and re-emerge up top to call in more
troops, but he'll fall to the ground again after that, so you'll be able to
finish him off eventually. Once he's done for, finish mopping up the remaining
Stormtroopers, and climb the ramp into the Millennium Falcon.

FP4-3 Episode IV, Chapter Three: Mos Eisley Spaceport (FREE PLAY MODE)
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
STUDS REQUIRED FOR TRUE JEDI STATUS: 200,000
APPROXIMATE TOTAL STUDS AVAILABLE: 340,000
Throughout the first street (and everywhere beyond in this chapter), you'll
want to attack the large grey garbage cans twice, with blaster or lightsaber,
but for the small grey garbage cans, use the Force to lift their lids first,
then destroy them. Also, you can double-jump on top of most of the awnings to
get the Studs as you slide down from them.
At the start, build the shiny metal cylinder just up and to the right, then
blast it away with a Thermal Detonator. Blast the basket behind it, and the
black pipes in the corner. Use the Force on each orange Lego block that
scattered across the road to the left to receive some Studs, and to beautify
the neighbourhood. On the right, use the force on the yellow Lego bricks in
the basket to stack them, and shoot them with a blaster for some Studs.
Destroy the garbage can beside them to reveal a '1 of 3' carrot as well.
Further to the right, shoot some Lego debris along the wall. Along the back
wall here, there's another shiny metal structure to use a Thermal Detonator on.
On the very right, there a Stormtrooper checkpoint. Open it and head inside.
Gather the Studs from around the room. Use the Force on all four faucets in
the showers on the left wall. Doing this drains the hottub on the right,
revealing MINIKIT CANISTER #1. Head back outside once you've collected it.
Go up the stairs to the Double Score Zone. Head left over the bridge and hover
across to the far side. Open the Bounty Hunter checkpoint door, and a lot of
Lego bricks will blow out and land on the ground. Go down and build them into
a fan. This will come in handy later. To the left, use the Force on the
basket of blue Lego blocks to lay them out in a line, then blast them all.
Move on up the road, blasting garbage cans and using Thermal Detonators on
anything shiny, double-jumping to the awnings, etc. See the Story mode
walkthrough if you really need more specific details for collecting all of the
Studs. I'll specify anything out of the ordinary in the following paragraph.
The next large garbage can on the left holds the '2 of 3' carrot. On the
right, get on top of the roofs via the stairs roughly mid-way up the street.
Use Dark Force on the red floor panel up here. Jump into the hole this creates
to grab MINIKIT CANISTER #2. Back down on the ground, go up a bit more and
walk up the large grey stairs at the end. Crawl into the vent access above.
Get the Studs and jump down. Slide down the awning just below you. Underneath
it, destroy the garbage cans. To the right, the garbage can holds the '3 of
3' carrot. With all three carrots in the open, go back down the street to the
fan you build out of the Lego blocks from the Bounty Hunter checkpoint. Ride
the fan's air column up to MINIKIT CANISTER #3, revealed by finding all of the
carrots. Now, up the left side, there are four small garbage cans grouped
together. Use the Force to lift all of their lids, and use the Force again to
pull the Lego bricks out of each of them. Build these bricks into a doorway,
complete with Astromech Droid Lock. Use this to open the door, revealing this
chapter's POWER BRICK inside. Grab it, then head out and destroy the garbage
cans. For one last Blue Stud, I believe that you need the Land Speeder that
you arrived in. Ride it up the middle of the road until you notice the sand
blowing away from a metal grate in the ground. Hop out and walk over the
grate, and the air current will push you up to the Blue Stud high above the
ground.
Finally, when you're on top of the final wall where the door controls are, the
Stormtrooper checkpoint is optional. Entering it makes it easier for you to
reach the Womp Rat shooting mini-game (which you can also access by riding the
AT-ST later on). But since it can be reached now, let's list it now. Use the
Stormtrooper checkpoint to move to the other side of the wall. Double-jump
across the barricade below to the other half of the bridge. Build the two
cannon chairs, then jump into one of them and shoot ten Womp Rats to receive
MINIKIT CANISTER #4 (which is also obtainable in Story mode). Go back through
the Stormtrooper checkpoint and have a Protocol Droid open the door below the
wall, or just jump down, since you're already on this side.
Approximate Total Lego Studs: 70,000
Starting from the Womp Rat-shooting mini-game, jump up and right, to behind the
rebel barricade (which is also a Double Score Zone). Build the explosive
canister from the Lego pieces just behind the barrier on the left side, then
shoot it repeatedly to blow it, and the barrier, up (alternately, you can
destroy the barrier with a Thermal Detonator). Run around in the area above,
still in the Double Score Zone, and collect the Studs. Enter the side doors
for a few more. If you jump up behind the car dealership sign on the right,
you can collect a Blue Stud (thanks to Rick Shores for finding this hidden
Stud). And for more fun, go back into the starting street and hop into the
Landspeeder. If you ride it into this Double Score Zone, you can sell it to
the Jawa on the right by driving it in front of the car salesman billboard and
parking it in the alcove directly across from it, thus receiving a whopping
10,000 Studs! Just don't kill the Jawa first, or the deal is off. Thanks a
lot to Rick Shores, Devon Compton and Danny Ralph for tipping me off to this
bonus. If you want to make a good impression, you can get the Landspeeder
cleaned before selling it off, by parking it over the grey strips by the blue
roller brushes on the left side of this area, and pulling the two levers next
to it in tandem with your partner. This doesn't increase the value any,
though. Also note that even after you take the money for the Landspeeder, you
can still hop into it and drive it away!
Back through the now-defunct rebel barricade, run around and collect the Studs.
Use Thermal Detonators on anything shiny. The shiny cylinder beside the very
large grey object will reveal a pile of Lego bricks. These will form a
rotating lever, so push it counter-clockwise to straighten up the large grey
monolith. Doing so drops pieces to build a grapple point, so do that and fly
up to reach MINIKIT CANISTER #5 with a double-jump. On the ground, use the
Force to stack the three identical crates along the right, and jump from on top
of them to the ledge with MINIKIT CANISTER #6. Now you can build the AT-ST and
beat out the Stormtrooper.
In the AT-ST, destroy the next rebel barricade. On the other side, blast the
antennas along the fronts of the buildings. You'll need to be in the AT-ST to
collect the high Studs along the rear border to this area. Jump out and
collect the rest of the available Studs in this room, ensuring that you blast
the Lego debris along the right wall before you exit through the top door.
Approximate Total Lego Studs: 165,000
Entering the cantina, even though you don't need to get any Droids through,
blast the force field generators anyway for some Studs. Inside the cantina,
blast all of the chairs around the tables. Use the Force on the lights mounted
in the walls, on the cups on the tables and at the bar, on the round bar
stools, and on the strange drink dispensers on each end of the bar until they
give up Studs. Crawl into the vent access in one of the back rooms on the left
side of the cantina to reach MINIKIT CANISTER #7, and use the levers to drop
the force field. Shoot the chairs inside here too. Head through the exit when
you think you're done.
Approximate Total Lego Studs: 185,000
Outside again, shoot the garbage cans. The one to the left of the door holds
the '1 of 3' turnip (what's with the vegetables?). Don't miss the Blue Stud in
the doorway on the left, and the destructible Lego debris under the awning.
Shoot the silver antennas on the walls as well (there are three in this first
room). Build the grapple point to reach the top level and advance. Just
inside the next area, there's a Bounty Hunter checkpoint on the roof. Head
inside.
Double-jump to the raised ledge on the left, and jump back again. Head right
to get a few more Studs, then drop to the ground. Shoot the garbage cans - the
one to the right of the alcove with several pieces of Lego debris holds the '2
of 3' turnip. Enter the silver doors for some Studs. Head up the longish
path. On the right, double-jump to the raised ledge and double-jump onto the
top of the dome to get the Blue Stud. Use a Thermal Detonator on the shiny
antenna up here. Back on the ground, use the Force on the four orange-ringed
light blue circles to raise the bars to MINIKIT CANISTER #8. The Womp Rats
released thus also dig up a bunch of Studs from the ground just below. On the
left here, use Dark Force to blow apart the red and black gates, receiving some
Studs. If you happen to venture through the archway and trigger the scene on
the other side, just don't step off of the ledge that you're on, or you'll miss
a big section of the chapter with lots of Studs. As long as you're still on
the ledge, you can step back through the archways.
Go back towards the entrance to this Bounty Hunter-only area, and use the
Protocol Droid Lock on the right side. Enter the door to reach the area with
the checkered floor track. If you stepped through the archway at all after
blowing apart the Dark Force doors, then the door to the next area with the
Stormtroopers just ahead will already be open. Go back down, away from this
area, blowing up trash cans and Lego debris with abandon. Use the grapple
point on ground level, then hover downward to the roof across the way, then
left/up to the rooftop with several Studs on it. You can shoot another antenna
from up here too. Go back up the grapple points on the ground and in the
adjacent room to return to the topmost roofs, and shoot the two antennas on the
walls up here. Grapple across the checkered floor track and use the lever to
release a block. Push it near the edge of the roof, and use it to reach the
ledge going up along the wall on this side of the road. Collect the Studs
there, then finally head up into the next area, where the Stormtroopers await.
Approximate Total Lego Studs: 240,000
Shoot as many Stormtroopers as you can before crossing the threshold and
renewing the screen. Head down the stairs and along the wall on your right.
Shoot the Dewbacks twice to make their riders fall off. Use a Thermal
Detonator on the shiny cylinder in front of the theatre. To the left of the
theatre, the garbage can contains the '3 of 3' turnip, and MINIKIT CANISTER #9
will appear on a raised ledge. This ledge is in the previous room, to the left
of the checkered floor track, so go and get it, then return to the battle. On
the left side of the courtyard, shoot or use the Force on the large dark doors.
Each will release a wide scatter of Studs out along the ground. Inside the
doors, use a blaster to shoot the small rounds of fertilizer. Each one will
grow a dark flower and release some Studs in response. You can then use Dark
Force on the flowers to destroy them for even more Studs. In the space to the
left of the theatre, there are six small rounds of fertilizer. Shoot these to
grow bright flowers and release Studs.
Use the Astromech Droid Lock inside the lineup for the movie theatre and head
inside. Double Score Zone! Walk along each row between the seats to get some
Studs. You can get a lot more, too, by destroying the seats. Use lightsaber
ground slams for maximum effect with minimum effort. You can also destroy the
spotlights along the bottom of the curtain. Once you do, the curtain will
retract, revealing a mosaic. Use the force on it, and the screen will start
playing a black and white montage of the first Lego Star Wars game. You can
now destroy the screen, piece by piece, revealing MINIKIT CANISTER #10 in
behind of it! Use jump shots from different positions in the theatre to
destroy the screen fully, collecting the Studs after each hit.
In the final arena, there's nothing special that you don't get in Story mode.
Just blow up a few things around the arena, and fight for your life.
Approximate Total Lego Studs: 350,000

Minikit Canister Summary
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Minikit Canister #1: At the right wall from the starting point, enter the
Stormtrooper checkpoint. Inside, use the Force on
all four faucets in the showers on the left wall, to
reveal the canister in the hottub on the right.
Minikit Canister #2: In the first street, go up the stairs on the right
just over half-way up the street. Use Dark Force on
the red and black floor panel. Jump into the hole to
land on the canister.
Minikit Canister #3: Locate all three carrots inside large garbage cans
along the first road. Once all three are revealed,
the canister will appear high over the road near the
start. To get it, go up the stairs to the right of
the starting point. Cross the bridge and hover to
the left side. Use the Bounty Hunter checkpoint.
Build a fan out of the dropped Lego bricks, and ride
the air current up to the canister.
Minikit Canister #4: On top of the wall at the end of the first street,
enter the Stormtrooper checkpoint. Jump across the
rebel barrier to reach the rooftop to the left.
Build the cannon chairs, and jump into one. Shoot
ten Womp Rats to receive the canister.
Minikit Canister #5: In the area where you build the AT-ST, use a Thermal
Detonator on the shiny cylinder nearest the very
large grey object. Build the Lego pieces this
reveals into a rotating lever. Push it around until
pieces of a grapple point drop from the grey object.
Build these and ride up, then double-jump to the
cylinder.
Minikit Canister #6: In the area where you build the AT-ST, use the Force
to stack three identical crates along the right side.
Use these to reach the canister on the raised ledge.
Minikit Canister #7: Inside the Mos Eisley cantina, crawl into the vent
access in one of the rear rooms to reach the
canister.
Minikit Canister #8: After leaving the cantina, enter the Bounty Hunter
checkpoint on the rooftops. At the end of the first
section, use the Force on the four light blue circles
to raise the gates in front of the canister.
Minikit Canister #9: Find three turnips inside garbage cans to reveal the
canister. The first turnip is to the left upon
leaving the cantina. The second is inside the Bounty
Hunter checkpoint. The third is in the arena where
you fight the Stormtroopers riding Dewbacks, to the
left of the movie theatre. The canister can be found
in the room before the Dewback arena, on the ledge
over the left side of the checkered floor track.
Minikit Canister #10: Use an Astromech Droid to enter the movie theatre
where you fight the mounted Stormtroopers. Destroy
the four spotlights along the bottom of the curtain.
Use the Force to rearrange the screen, then destroy
it once the movie starts playing to find the
canister behind it.
Power Brick Location
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Along the left side of the first road, near the end, there are four small
garbage cans together. Use the Force to lift the lid on each, and use the
Force again on each can to remove the Lego bricks inside. Once you've got the
complete pile, build them into a doorway, complete with Astromech Droid Lock.
Use that to open the door, and grab the red Power Brick inside.

to the evil Darth Vader.
Meanwhile, Luke Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi have
commissioned Han Solo to take them to Leia's home
planet of Alderaan. Escaping from Imperial

~~ Infiltrating the Death Star ~~
First of all, blast away all of the blocky red Lego structures around the room.
Next, blast the blue gas pipes along the far wall, releasing a nice array of
colors. Third, blast the wall panels along the same back wall. When the
entire middle wall section is destroyed, you will find a storage machine hidden
behind it. Open it with the Force to capture its stash of Studs. Use the
Force on the doors on the right side of the room, reassembling them into a
familiar form, and head on out.
In the hallway, kill the two Stormtroopers. Blast the red Lego structure on
the right and collect the Studs. Head through the open doorway on the right
side. Inside there, activate the crane, and drop a total of 10 Imperial
lackeys into the pit in the center. You can also pick up the red Lego
cylinders and drop them on top of troopers, blowing them up in the process.
try to get two Imperials together with these. Once you've killed 10, the
Minikit Canister emerges. Pick it up with the crane to add it to your
collection. Now, leaving this room can sometimes be tricky, due to other
characters jamming the doorway. If this happens, just keep switching
characters and wiggling left in the doorway until you re-enter the hall.
Back in the hall, use the Stormtrooper helmet dispe
