When I insert the game disc into my PlayStation 2, I get the red cubes and the message asking to insert a PlayStation or PlayStation 2 format disk. The game is a PS2 copy and not another type and the disk isn't scratched at all.
- Has anyone else had this problem?
- How can I fix it?

statusI had the same problem about 5 years ago. The problem is that your PS2 isn't reading cd format games. To fix the problem call sony's customer service department. You will need to ship the PS2 to sony and they will fix the problem for you.

Also make sure that the copy you have is the correct region. If not, you will always get this error.
