PAL is the analogue television system prevalent in certain countries, such as Europe, Australia and Africa. It provides a clearer picture than NTSC, but has a slower framerate.
The fastest way to get 3,000 points is to play on Hard, completing the 100-man challenge twice [go to the Foundry on the first morning and attack the Kurou thug] and leaving Rokkotsu Pass. This'll net you the "Random Slasher" title, which awards maximum points.
