Asked on: 11/30 3:19PMAt Kyzl Plateau,Planet Veldin,those Elite Troops are really frustrating. Can I have somone's opinion please about what weapon to use on these bad guys?
I always use the Devastator or the VisiBomb gun. Always remember to attack at range.

statusThe Devastator or the RYNO. Get lock with the Devastator before firing. Hunt them at extreme range and be sure to dodge when they shoot back. Try to find cover you can dodge behind.
Stand back and use the visi-bomb. Using this method, you can take nearly all of them out in the entire level. The downside is you'll need a lot of bolts to get ammo.
Run For Your Life
Always use the visibomb gun on kalebo III. You can sometimes use the devastator as long as you can target them at a decent distance. On Veldin, I can use the tesla claw.
Use da Devastator, Visibomb,or da Ryno to defeat them,but if u want to get da skill point on Veldin,u must use da wrench only.U need 2 defeat 10 elite troops on Veldin using da wrench ONLY 2 get da skill point.U need 2 use da Hyper-Strike(X+Square) 2 times to defeat them
