I think that would be the best way to get the episode complete but there is another way too. wat you do is dispatch 3 chocobos of every level and that reveals the chocobo secret dungeon complete the dungeon and deafet the anything eater and you get a episode complete. but ive done this a number of times and it only works sometimes for some reason : ) good luck

You can only get Episode Complete in Calm Lands if you have completed the Publicity Campaign and the mission Tourist Trap in chapters 3 or 5. Tourist Trap is easy enough, but if you've missed out on the PR Campaign, just spend credits at a company to increase their number.

In order to get 100% episode complete in the Calm Lands you have to do the PR mission. You need to get 500 points before you go to the Calm Lands in Ch5. If you missed the PR mission in the earlier chapters you can still finish it (very slowly and boringly) by spending credits at the games for the company you are promoting. This takes forever and is certainly costlier, but if you didn't start on the PR mission early this is the only way to get enough points. I think you might actually have to lose the games, but I can't remember (check out a walkthrough for this info, I suggest Split Infinity's, but anyone's will work.) To get 100%, just so you know, you also have to raise chocobos so that you can access the chocobo dungeon and beat it. This also gives you an episode complete. There are multiple episode completes for some areas.
