Is it possible to finish the Human World Missions without ending the game?

After beating the last mission in the Human world, I got one of the game's endings. I didn't realize that the third mission was the last one, though I did know about the ending from those missions. The boss has a good stealable item which isn't found many other places. Is there any way to beat that mission without getting the ending?

Thanks. I know about the NG+ and have already gotten up to my previous point. I was just wondering if there was another way around it. Thanks.

It's not possible, as said NG+ this time you'll probably breeze through the game and start your quest to leveling. And thee main storyline isn't the only part of the game that you can go through, bills, monster assembly and sidequests always have some rare item, way better than the item from the ending boss.

No, but you can ng+ and be back at the same spot within an hour or two.
