I have beat the game but am missing 3 skills. I was wondering how to get them. Do you get skills by #of kills or special events in the game?

Please Help me with this. I got a skill today for somereason killing an optional boss. I just need to now if you get them by killing. Thank for any answers you can give me on this topic.

statusThere's no clue in what makes you gain skills.
I finished the game with all the skills, only fighting...
I did some leveling up, so, I think the answer is: fight.
