Monster Hunter
Question from VenomousKratos
Asked on: 11/17 4:37AMI've been playing MH on my ps3 for a little while now, but had to delete the data.
Why is it that when I try to copy the data it won't let me because the game is "locked"
And yet other ps2 games that are much older like Final Fantasy X can be copied....anyone have an Idea as to why that doesn't work?

odd. I've started a new game too. But even when I save it on the Ps3's virtual memory I still can't copy that to anywhere else

statusThis game doesn't let you copy the save data. If you tried to use a memory card adapter to transfer your saved data, it won't let you. I had to start a new game. I don't know why they would do this, but that;s the way it is.
It's because it's a game where your characters are also used Online (when online was out). You see, it's to prevent someone from making a very good character, copying it, then giving the items away to someone or selling items to NPCs for more money in-game whilst keeping them on another character. So technically, it's so that online players can't duplicate items.
I play my monster hunter on my ps3 i think its just easier plus online was easier on my wireless ps3 network (when online was up)
