Asked on: 11/8 8:34PMPast the two intros, when the game comes to the point where you actually get to play , the only option you get is "Fake". When the people talk , the sub titles only read" FAKE" and when you press pause the screen reads " Fake" .. what is going on? I bought the game used , returned it and switched it out with another... same thing happend. I have also played other games on my system and they work fine. Whats going on ?! help !

It sounds like the game... Seems to think your system is cracked. I'm really not sure what's going on , although it definately sounds like pirating countermeasures, much like Earthbound's "Giygas deletes your save" thing.
... ... ... yea, that happened to me... ... Except in the "INFORMATION" bar during regular boss fights. i keep the sound down, because on "GROUNDSHAKER", A HUGH screeeech was whenever the "GROUNDHAKER" "RRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAOOOOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR"d on the last bar , a HUGH "O.O" Appered on the screen. GAME NEWLY BOUGHT
Sorry, man. It is your PS2, no doubt. The same happened with the Gameshark2 on mine. I bought TWO BRAND NEW ones and borrowed a friends who got his over eBay, and none worked. The only solution is a new PS2. They're about $60 at GameStop.
Oh, wait, the game itself may also be burned or something. That may explain the (FAKE). CDs are getting more protecting against getting burned.
