statusIs your disc ruined in any way? if so, you should get a new disc. if its the same for all your games, somethings wrong with youre PS2
Did it always say that? If so where did you buy the game?
You may have to replace it, or your PS2's scanner may be interfering with your discs being read.
At least my disk shows some parts from the intro movie before it lags and crashes >.>
On-topic: sounds like you either got a damaged disk or bad laser/scanner. If other games work perfectly, you'll have to get a new disk.
Try cleaning your disk or asking a clerk at game stop or another game retail store for help. you could ask then what a format disk is because i honestly have no clue. if there is a problem with a memory card, you can try transferring the data to another memory card. if all else fails, buy a new disk, buy a new card, and start fresh
Hmmmm...happened to me once i thought it was really broke but i tried fixing it myself and it works now if not then go to a gamestop or something and either pay them 5 bucks to fix it or 20 bucks for a whole new one... up to you
If you're still confused, you should look up an FAQ on this.
It should be in the Hints and Cheats section.
It'll go into detail on what you have to do.
If you press ctrl + F and put in what you're looking for you'll find it faster.
Hope this helps. :D
If all your games do this, replace the console. Make sure it is the only disc in the PS2. Make sure that the disc has an image saying what game it is with a picture. It may not be an official disc.
Get a new disc.
