Do the Marauders ever leave the desert completely?

After I defeated the mass of marauders at their stronghold, the desert was free to roam without marauders attack me. It was so great, but by the time I finished the next mission, the marauders were back. Even after being the final boss, they're still there. Is there any way to get rid of the marauders completely? Plus, I haven't tried any of the desert precursor orb missions, but I assume it will be extremely hard with marauders attacking me the whole time.

They dont ever leave the desert actually.They just keep multipliying som how

That's right they never leave. Gets annoying with them harrassing you all the time, but you'll just have to try to manage.
