I've been wanting to solve the freakin puzzle, but hewie can't find his way back to me ever since I observed the objects in the identical rooms. Ever since that thing took out the floor in that room Hewie can't get to me. D:
If he's been cut off by the elevator room, I think that, by going up the ice pillar in the dragonfire room, through the study and through that weird little outside hallway, you should be able to find him. It links back to the original entrance to Daniella's area. Then, head to that room with the first clock (the one with that first Luminessant lamp), and through the now-open secret passage.
Also, it's possible that Daniella's just OCDing and closing doors again. She likes to do that. >>; When you run from her, try to keep track of whether Hewie's with you whenever you enter a room, and that should help you figure out where he is if she traps him.

statusTry saving and reloading the game. Afterwards, hewie should only be a few rooms away. It also may be possible that you moved something that blocked access from you entirely. Try opeining every door around you and he'll appear eventually. As for The stalker Daniella, you are going to have to avoid her when she starts chasing you until that time comes.
If you want, then you can reload the game from the last save point you saved at if Hewie was with you at that time. Or you can open the door that the luminescent is near just don't get hit by it and unlock and open that door and then call Hewie. He should come if he is somewhere close to that door.
