How do i beat Gargant. It's not easy for me to beat Gargant especially my life is not full. Is there any easy way or better tactics to beat this boss?

statusThe second boss in the game,well kill the genma and use your oni absorber and try to get as many souls as possible especially blue souls so you can have more oni magic to defeat him,p.s. you can't block the fire sword.

Use a type 5 combo sword. When you break his sword, hit him fast with the first 4 hits of the combo and block before the final hit. This will allow you to start a combo again and keep hitting him. I use this technique and beat him and he didnt regenerate his sword.
