Maybe it's something that I am or am not doing. I'm borrowing this game and no matter what I do, the guitar controller wont work. Can somebody help me?
The Guitar plugs into controller slot #1, replacing the main controller.
It is possible that the guitar itself is broken, try a dual-shock in slot #1, there are translation keys in quite a few FAQs on this site to tell you which button is which (off the top of my head, L2 is green, L1 is red, R1 is yellow, R2 is blue, triangle is orange, D-pad is "strum" bar, right analog is whammy bar, select is star power, start is pause (and possibly continue through menu).
